I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt I needed to. Last minute help was needed late on a Friday afternoon and I wasn’t expecting anyone to come until at least Monday but you guys arrived super fast and got the job done. Thank you so much, kind, friendly and very efficient!

On our ground source heating system, having been let down on service and fault finding by both the original installer and another heat pump company I contacted Heat Tech. From the original contact to engineer visit and follow up I can only say they are an excellent company to deal with. The fault was diagnosed, fixed and the system has run perfectly since. Absolutely a top company in the world of heat pumps.

Heat Pump Tech have helped me with my heat pump both when the compressor failed and when I had a faulty Pressure Relief Valve. They might not be the cheapest but they offer unrivaled knowledge and expertise. Must plumbers and gas engineers know nothing about heat pumps so will be unable to help with heat pumps. Unlike these guys who will quickly resolve your issues.

Heat Pump Tech were a delight to deal with and very customer focused. They undertook a complete energy-loss survey of our house and then made recommendations on the heat pump system. They replaced our radiators with little fuss and no mess, and then efficiently fitted a Panasonic heat pump system. We are delighted with their service.

Thank you Heat Pump Tech. I had my Nibi F1145 ground source heat pump Install 10 years ago. Although the Installer did an extremely good job, he wasn’t interested in coming back. Since then, I’ve struggled to find a competent person or company to look after the equipment. Heat Pump Tech is the first company in 10 years that has been able to explain to me how the system functions and to get it working properly. I cannot praise them enough and would highly recommend you use their services. The engineer’s experience and knowledge shown through, for example, he explained that (and subsequently adjusted) my factory setting was set so that if the outside temperature climb above 17° C then the central heating switched off and would not come back on for 24 hours, regardless of the Inside temperature! !!! 🤔 You can imagine the problems that has caused me over the years with our changeable maritime climate being hot and sunny one day then storms and gales the next . 🫤

I found the heat pump tech professional and customer focussed! They managed to move their engineers to attend site earlier than expected and once here fixed my heat pump, despite not being the installer. First class service. Happy customer 😄

Excellent service from Dan and his team with efficient regular, annual maintenance. Also Dan responded quickly to two breakdowns and made a diagnosis of the problem over the phone so I could call in the appropriate local trade professional to quickly remedy this issue. He then provided guidance as needed and made sure that the system was working correctly.

A power cut today knocked out my heatpump. A quick call to Dan at Heatpump Tech (out of hours) had me back up and running straight away. Only dealt with Heatpump Tech twice, today and once for regular servicing, and customer service both occasions was exemplary.

We have our heat pump serviced by Heat Pump Tech every year. Nice people to do business with. Really efficient and friendly. Sam the engineer very helpful and clearly knows his stuff - and answers all my stupid questions! Recommended.

I have had quick email responses and site visits when I have had issues with my ground source heat pump. I have met a few members of the team and they have all been knowledgeable and helpful. They worked really hard in the winter to get my heating and water back up and running. I would highly recommend them.

Heat Pump Tech have helped with both servicing and a fault. Three young kids and a generally outdoorsy family and a history with the company, we were prioritised and the engineer (Dan) got us back up and running quickly. We were booked in for the following day. He had the required spare part on the van thus was able to wash the smelly kids within 24 hours from detecting the fault. Definitely not cheap, and I dare say you could get some of the plumbing side of affairs done a lot cheaper elsewhere, but remember that these are multi-domain engineers covering everything from electrics, to traditional plumbing to the refrigerant side. Thus if you need a wholistic view and quality consultancy then I wouldn’t think twice. For those on the hunt for replacing a carbon based solution I would definitely consider Heat Pump Tech rather than one of the pop up companies you see in the tabloids/on socials just grabbing the government incentives. Remember that a badly configured system can be significantly more environmentally damaging and extremely costly in terms of energy consumption - that it is worth spending the time and effort on proper design.

Always show up when they say they are going to. Do a great job and then available on the phone if I have any questions.

my ground source heating pack up, and Heat pump tech have been brilliant, having no heating or hot water they got an engineer Ben out to us, very quickly our pump needed replacing, and again they sourced one the next day and had it shipped to my address and Sam was there first thing the next day to install it. Both engineers were friendly and experienced and did a fab job. I also want to give a big shout out to Jo Nelson-Bell who is front of office and to acknowledge her great customer service skills, she went above and beyond to help myself. I would not hesitate to use Heat pump Tech again and would highly recommend

We are really pleased with system installed. After getting a few prices we decided to go with Heat Pump Tech mainly because they were easy to talk to, very informative, not pushing for a sale. Mainly dealing with James, he visited a few times to show how the installation process would be carried out. Everything was installed on time without a hitch. We had one slight issue afterwards, which was nothing to do with installation, a small faulty part, Josh came out the day after and rectified the problem. For me, after sales service is as important as the first installation and Heat Pump Tech get 10 out of 10 for that. We would definitely recommend the company without hesitation. Following the failure of my air source heat pump, the manufacturer recommended Heat Pump Tech, I spoke to Dan on the phone who was able to liaise with my local electrician to try and problem solve the issue. With Dans guidance my electrician was able to resolve the problem. I would not hesitate to contact them again. Top marks.

Can honestly say one of, if not the best company I’ve had out. Previously had a heat pump installed by a different company and had nothing but trouble. Dan and the team @ heat pump tech came out re-installed the heat pump as they identified problem with the previous installer.. serviced the heat pump and has been on call to help me set the heat pump up correctly. Honestly!.. I work in customer service and it a great feeling to have a company on your side as reliable as heat pump tech.. I would 100% recommend them to anyone. Keep up the good work guys! 👍🏻

When our Stiebel Eltron Air Source Heat Pump broke down during a very cold spell, Heat Pump Tech came to our help very quickly, diagnosed the major problem, promptly order replacement parts and worked very hard to get our ASHP up and running again. Heat Pump Tech have serviced our NIBE Air Source for the last 6 years and have been very good. In the early morning 27th Dec 2021, (Bank holiday), our system created its first alarm for not auto defrost and shut down. Still under 7 year NIBE warranty and NIBE being closed I called HeatPumpTech direct at 9 am and received a return call within the hour. In the inbetween I decided to reset the alarm and all seemed OK. I was unable to take the return call at the time and before I could Dan who owns the company had been informed and he called me. Explaining resetting the alarm seemed to have worked he advised me on rebooting the system by not just switching the control panel off and if the issue reoccurred then to recall. If remains OK, which it did, I was to send an email to NIBE on the 29th, to advise them of the alarm. I also recommend NIBE systems above any other. We are very happy with Air Source and have not experienced the negativity portrayed in the media. Then we do have a well insulated house both roof and external walls despite it being 300 years old! More than happy with Heat Pump Tech.
