Direct Solar Services Ltd is praised for professional, tidy work; reviewers describe installations that went perfectly and were cleaned up afterwards, with one noting tidy wiring and accurate energy monitoring. One reviewer reports that 19 panels were fitted across both sides of a steep, three-storey roof in a single day without extra holes being drilled, using a Hanchu inverter and battery that worked well in cold and wet outdoor conditions. Another reviewer calls the service fast, efficient and tidy, and recommends the company. No criticism is reported in the supplied reviews.

Excellent worksmanship, really pleased with my system and how tidy the wiring is. They managed to get 19x 460W panels (8.7kWp) on my semi-detached townhouse's roof on both sides (despite it being 3 stories high and quite steep), whereas new builds of the same model by the developer only have 2 in total! I'm impressed they managed to do the install on a single October day too. Only a single wire running to the inverter and it's well shielded with two isolators for each set of panels. The Hanchu inverter and battery are highly configurable and easily monitored as an end-user (setting max SoC, charge rate, charge times etc.) and it all works well even during cold winter weather and rain in an outdoor install. There was no need to drill any extra holes in the house or the loft etc. and yet everything works perfectly, the energy monitoring is accurate too (consistent with my Octopus Home mini). Overall I'd highly recommend DSS :)
