A.R.D. Developments Limited

We have recently had a Supalite roof fitted to our conservatory and what a difference it has made not only to the appearance but also the comfort inside. James Rich and Ash were fantastic. They kept us up to date during the whole build, working very efficiently and always tidying up every day after work. We must also mention Steve who quoted for the job. There again very helpful and answered any questions we put to him. Altogether a fantastic job and we would thoroughly recommend ARD Developments Ltd. Rob and Liz Morgan

Just had a conservatory built by ard and could not be more pleased with the result. The attention from Sophie and Rich and there team James, Ash and Rich was fantastic and I can not recommend them enough. There willingness to work with us and fairness made us feel comfortable all the way along. many thanks Helen and Rob Hoult july 2025

Richard and the team are great and very knowledgable. We had a leak which was worsened due to our cavity wall being filled many years ago, where other businesses could not find the solution Richard knew right away how to solve it and were prompt to get us booked in to avoid damage worsening. I would highly recommend ARD developments for any building work and will certainly be using them again in the future.

ARD Developments provided what we were looking for when replacing a roof and 4.2KW solar with a hot water diverter. Providing an end to end service. We were very lucky with the weather to have the work done in January 25..apart from one weekend and a named storm lifting roof membrane and we had to call ARD who on a Sunday came out and made good! All the work was carried out early January to the beginning of February as per the contract of a dry ridge, dry valley and dry verges and on roof solar. Solar panels being commissioned on the 20th of March once the ok given by the DN0 for 5KW inverter this taking slightly longer as we needed new electrical feeds to cope with the solar going on the roof as the property was built in 1958 for which ARD had to return once new meter works were completed An exceptional work team at ARD.

ARD completed various projects on my property including electrical work - exterior light and new fuse board. UPVC windows, facia and cladding. Even an additional parking space on my driveway. Richard is very knowledgable and the teams skills are endless. Pricing was competitive, I would highly recommend ARD

ARD have completed many projects for us over the last 20 years - including a total house renovation and several extensions. Would highly recommend them - their work is of a very high standard.

These guys are Absolutely fantastic. They have done so much work for us to the highest of standards. From pond pergola to garage conversion and from planning and installing a new kitchen. Now Our first port of call any work doing for many years now. They are honest, reliable, highly professional, and trusting.

After three failed attempts to find a builder to repair our roof we were recommended to call ARD Developments by a family friend. Alan came around promptly, examined the problem and agreed to fix it. From then on the team stuck to the agreed program and what’s more fixed the problem. They then floored the attic and fixed two leaking windows (which needed a lot of Bradstone stone being removed from above the windows and replaced). I have no hesitation in recommending this family company.

Richard converted my downstairs loo to a wetroom. I am absolutely delighted with the results. The work was thorough and professional and it incorporated all the requirements that I requested. I am very happy to recommend his company.

We're repeat customers of ARD several times over, which says it all really. The whole team are friendly and considerate and quality of work excellent. I find Rich is responsive and reliable, and pricing is fair. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Our roof space was isolated. Absolutely thrilled with service from quote to finish. Good communication throughout. Quick to receive quote and work carried out soon after. Work completed with efficiency with care taken of our home. Even my dog was happy. Very friendly professional people. Highly recommend.

ARD are superb - from Alan and Rich to Sophie behind the scenes, we’ve used them on multiple occasions for significant home improvement work. Highly recommend!

Fabulously efficient and prompt with their responses to queries and updates on the works . They communicated well and completed the jobs in good time. I would happily recommend ARD Developments Ltd .

Fantastic company to deal with. Always reliable and good quality workmanship.

Rich and Alan carried out the building work when we had a new kitchen fitted, taking out a wall, fitting French doors in the dining area, and updating the wiring in the kitchen for new ovens and ceiling lights. We were very happy with the work and the new room / kitchen looks great. Rich made a number of suggestions during the process which were very helpful, and the 'can do' approach was very much appreciated. I would be happy to use the guys again if I need more building work carried out. Thanks Gents.

Rich and all the ARD team came to our rescue when our kitchen fitter left us high & dry. Their workmanship is excellent and they have come to our rescue on many occasions now. They are a great team and come up with lots of solutions and are very reliable, so would highly recommend.

Richard and his team did a superb job planning and installing our Solar panel and battery system. It is working well and when the battery initially would not charge he came out on a Saturday just hours before he was due to go on holiday to sort it out.

We have used Richard and his team at ARD Developments for a number of jobs over the years and have always been nothing but impressed with their quality of work and friendliness. When we first moved house, we had a list of jobs that needed doing to bring the house up to a good standard which included a lot of re-pointing, new UPVC door and window, a new internal door and a new flat roof on our garage. When Richard arrived to look at the job and give us a quote, he was extremely knowledgeable and took his time to explain clearly the process they would use to take each of the elements of the job. When the day came for the work to start, his team were brilliant. Always punctual, friendly and polite and were always willing to work around us. Forward on a few years, and we decided to get our loft insulation increased, a new ceiling in a room, a new extraction systems for the bathroom and another new internal door. This time, we knew exactly who to turn to and once again, Richard and his team were brilliant. Most recently, we had some water ingress around our chimney. We put the call into ARD Developments to get the team to have a look. A great thing about ARD and Richard is that they help you to make an informed decision, helping you as the customer to come to the conclusions of the work you want doing. In this case, we decided between us that the best fix was for the chimney to come down (it was totally redundant anyway). Again though, Richard explained the options to us clearly. Previous companies we have tried to get quotes off have been dismissive, don't turn up or try to dictate what they will do without explanation. ARD didn't do that for us. Simply put, they have been brilliant and now we don't hesitate to give them a call for any of our larger jobs that we can't do ourselves. We don't bother involving any other companies and are pleased to refer to them as 'our builders' when talking to others about them. Thank you so much, Richard and the Team at ARD.

Rich and the whole team at ARD developments are outstanding. They have done various jobs for me, including fitting bathrooms, kitchens, plastering and building a concrete base for a hot tub, and their work is consistently first class. Highly recommended.

We had our electrics mains box replaced and the quote, final price and the work was excellent. Nothing to fault.

Like to thank the staff for an excellent job well done, both efficient and nothing was to much trouble. Definitely recommend them. Electrics in garage fitted and in home.

Solar Panels and Electricals completed with efficiency and professionalism. Friendly, nothing too much trouble, good communication, tidy work and everything carried out to a high standard - they were recommended to us and we in turn would highly recommend them to you. Thank you Richard and all the team at ARD Developments 😄

Kitchen remodelling with new beams. Excellent work, completed on time. Everyone was friendly and willing to adapt as we went long. Would thoroughly recommend them

We were so lucky to be introduced to ARD Developments. We were new to the area and couldn't have found a nicer, more reliable, hardworking, knowledgeable bunch of guys. They played a major part in transforming the house we bought into the home we have today. You name it they did it. You won't find better.

Had a garage conversion completed by ARD Developments. Was more than impressed by the whole team. They were reliable, friendly, tidy and professional. Did a excellent job and stuck to budget too. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!

We purchased a house in Gloucester and after obtaining a few quotes we decided that we would ask ARD Developments to carryout the building and electrical work, which was carried out to an excellent standard. Since then we have used ARD Developments to carryout work on our rental properties and also on our new property. I would definitely recommend this firm as they are very professional and the work is always carried out to high standard and at a reasonable price.

Top notch professionalism, 100% attention to detail. Been fitting kitchens for many years and it's always been difficult to find a quality builder and electrician to carry out my ancillary works. In ARD Developments I've found just the company I can call on, usually at the drop of the hat!

Had a garage conversion done and also a complete renovation of a poorly build add on to our property. The workmanship was superb from start to finish and any additional work that needed doing was never a problem. The whole project took just 2 weeks. All members of their team were very professional and hard working and the work was to a very high standard. Would definately use again and would recommend.

We have used ARD Developments Ltd a number of times over the years. They have completed various projects which included, demolition of existing kitchen, building and installation of new kitchen and wet room with underfloor heating, plumbing, plastering, electrical work, removal of old floor, installation of new floor all to a high standard. During some work on a patio we told them that we thought there may be a well under the existing paving; no problem at all, in fact they enjoyed the challenge and we now have a great patio with the well and its glass cover being a great feature. Would recommend them thoroughly.

I was looking for a company to carry out some renovations at my home, which included plastering, decorating, bathroom installation carpentry and electrical works. ARD was highly recommended to me by a friend. I have been very impressed with their communication, project management and quality of work. They quoted a price and have stuck by it. They have exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them.
