Modern Energy and Electrical Services Ltd

We used MEES to undertake several maintenance tasks on several of our large solar PV systems including repairs to cable entry points, solar cable re-routing and replacement of faulty solar PV optimisers. John provided a comprehensive and diligent approach to the multiple tasks and his team completed them all to a high standard. 100% recommend MEES.

Very helpful team, would highly recommend

Modern Energy & Electrical Services Ltd installed our solar panels at our Community Hub, Y Galon. They were professional, very approachable and explained everything very clearly. They supported us with the energy tariff and using the app - we would highly recommend them.

Having experienced a great deal of issue's concerning a failed inverter I contacted Modern Energy & Electrical Services, My problems where resolved by the visit of John who immediately got to grip with the problem and came up with a solution. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and in fact have upgraded my solar system on his advice

John called at the house as our app was saying zero generation but our FIT payments were still arriving! It was a simple (for him) problem that our inverter was not connecting via our new modem. All sorted quickly with friendly professionalism. Thank you John.

Amazing response. Very understanding of my requirements without being "pushy". Excellent service and I would not hesitate to recommend this company. My solar panels are now fully functioning. Thank you.

Top class service .

We at Gateway Resort spent a couple of years sourcing the right company to design and install a solar project that would suit the business needs. Consuming around £30,000 worth of energy per month meant we had to get it right. John and his team designed the right sized system with the latest technology available to create a system that will pay back in under two years, which is incredible. Good planning and a well structured installation plan meant the job went smoothly with minimal disruption. I would recommend this company for it doing exactly what it said it would. There are so many unreputable companies out there, we feel we found the best around for the job.

John arrived promptly to diagnose our Solar and PV installation. He quickly found the cause of the problem [faulty inverter], the good news - it is still under warranty and so has arranged for a replacement to be supplied which he will fit when it arrives. Also gave some valuable advice for the future regarding having the roof panels cleaned annually to maintain generated output. Many thanks.

We had Solar panels fitted on our property back in 2014, John at Modern Energy & Electrical Services Ltd, carried out the initial survey & all the necessary paperwork at the time. Nothing was to much trouble for him & the company. He was recommended to us by friends & we have since recommended him to our friends & family. If we have any issues he is always at the end of a phone. Also there is no heavy sales pitch, answers all the questions & ultimately leaves it to the customer to decide the best option. All in all would definitely recommend. The added bonus is that the company is based in South Wales so local to us. We recently had an issue with one of the panels not producing as much as the others, contacted Modern Energy & within a week of the replacement being delivered it was replaced! So now back up to full generation. Thank you.

Highly recommend! John was punctual, friendly and professional throughout, and quickly diagnosed the issue with our old solar meter. He explained everything clearly and made sure I understood what was going on. The new meter was installed efficiently with no hassle. Totally trustworthy, no upselling, and clearly knows his stuff. Very happy with the work – would absolutely recommend!

We partnered with Modern Energy to solve the solar energy needs of a local school project, and the experience has been outstanding. From initial consultation to final installation, their team demonstrated professionalism and expertise. The project was completed on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to our operations. Since installation, the school has seen a significant reduction in our energy costs and a positive impact on our sustainability goals. I highly recommend Modern Energy for any business looking to transition to solar energy!

Quick, fast and professional service. John is clearly someone that knows his stuff and was very helpful in sharing his knowledge and understanding. Will 100% engage them again when needing any changes to my system.

John visited my site on Wednesday 15 Jan to review my set-up as the system was reporting a lot of errors. He fixed two issues very quickly and also identified the potential source of the faults and has acted on my behalf to get a replacement inverter under the SolarEdge RMA. I am very pleased at this outcome. Throughout the visit John was polite, informative and clearly knowledgeable about SolarPV technologies - I would recommend him to others looking to maintain SolarPV installations

John and his team just installed our solar panel system to help our company on its Green Journey. They did an excellent job. Educating us on the way. They are professional and friendly, delivering on time as advised with no issues. Would definitely recommend them.

A very satisfactory experience neat and tidy installation providing energy at expected values. Pay back period well with time frame. Follow up support has been excellent never to much trouble to answer all my questions. Would thoroughly recommend using the company. Just had the panels cleaned with a view to getting more power. The task was carried out with no fuss all necessary equipment brought with the 2 very friendly efficient team. Cannot fault them will certainly be booking them again next year.

John popped by to do some diagnosis on the inverter which had stopped producing. He left having got it up and running again, and shared with me a wealth of knowledge on the technologies available these days to complement solar panels. Much appreciated.

Modern energy installed solar panels on my house and they explained how the panels work the benefits and savings. The installation was neat and tidy and the workers were friendly and left no mess. Already we have noticed we are using only solar power in the day when we look at the solar meter. Thanks to John and the team & will recommend to friends and family.

Brilliant service from start to finish from John at Modern Energy & Electrical Services Limited....Highly recommended.

I had a solar PV system fitted in 2014. The price was competitive and John knew his stuff. The system has performed exactly as John said it would and already it has paid for it'self. As a result of our satisfaction my daughter had John to fit one at hers and we are both very happy with the service and products.

Very happy with the work provided by Modern Energy & Electrical Services Ltd. Solar panels were removed to facilitate new roof, repaired as they'd stopped working, replaced and cleaned. Now fully functional. All work was completed in a timely manner, communication was always good. Would definitely recommend this company.
