I Called GHE solar regarding an issue I was having with my solar setup that had been installed by a different supplier. Ellie at GHE kindly contacted the manufacturer for me and the problem was resolved in a few hours. As a non-customer this was much appreciated.

Great service. Scaffolding was up and down quickly on install, the panels look sleek and the electrician was very knowledgeable when telling me about it all. GHE team were very helpful with all the documents sent to me and for any queries I had on the process. Helped me maximise the space on my roof with panels that would take in solar from most angles.
The people, from the surveyors, the electricians, the installers of the solar panels were all brilliant. Would highly recommend them. Looking forward to seeing how my electric bills come down.

Got solar panels a bit more than year ago and so far results are great. They installed them quickly. Electricity cost reduced to low or none at all depends on weather.
Really friendly team came to install panels, explained everything they were doing. I have 7 panels on two flat roofs at the back of my house, they are very discreet. The guys answered all my questions. They helped me to download the app on my phone so I could monitor what was power was being used or redirected back to the grid. For the first time ever my electricity bill is in credit!!
Solar panels fitted without a problem clean and tidy job all working fine no problems.

My solar installation was carried out quickly and efficiently. The installers were polite, friendly and professional. GHE were also very helpful post installation.
I got three quotes for my panels, installed 18 months ago. GHE were the most competitive. I was very happy that I chose them. Their service was professional, and they were adaptable when I asked for changes, and a battery installation. More recently, when the software indicated a problem (with the power supplier) GHE were quick to contact me. I have already recommended them to other people.
We only proceeded as far as sales discussion with Jackie, Matthew and Ali regarding a solar system. They were patient, helpful, courteous, responsive and knowledgeable. Ultimately GHE were not the installer we chose to proceed with - they were among the best reviewed, their 15-year battery warranty was notably above their competitors, but they were in the middle of the pack in terms of price alongside similarly well-reviewed installers. From our desk-exercise alone, we can say going with GHE Solar would not be a choice you would regret. We cannot vouch for their actual installation and after-sales care, but other reviews cover that!
GHE did an installation of solar panels, battery and electric car charging point at my house approximately a year ago. They were excellent throughout the whole experience from obtaining the quote all the way through to installation. I’d highly recommend using them for anyone looking to have work done.
Sought help to connect a solis datalogger to new wifi router. Solis technical support and the panel installer offered no usable help. GHE visited and resolved the problem. A very friendly, knowledgeable and professional service

See Update below * Great service and professional company. Really helpful with the installation of my Solar Panels and helped with the paper work and installation of the Solex Cloud App which provides live data from from the panels so you can see exactly how the panels are performing. I did have an initial problem with the panel's tripping out every now and then so I contacted GHE Solar and once I had explained what was going on they were Quick to respond and came back to sort it out and I have had no more problems since It's always good to know that if teething problems do occur you can rely on the company to respond rather than leave you stressed trying to get it sorted. My experience was that I received good customer service which in my opinion is so important. ***** UPDATE 06/05/2 Just to say that since my 5* review I now have a rather worrying issue. Not with the panels performance but the issue is that there are pigeons building a nest under the panels! I wondered what all the noise was I could hear in the back bedroom as it was a loud scrabbling and clanging sound. I was horrified to see pigeons (which are not even small birds) getting under the gap between the panels and the tiles taking in twigs etc to build a nest. This is very concerning and giving me a lot of anxiety. For one thing I don't know if they can cause any damage to the panels themselves or even dislodge the tiles which are underneath. At time of writing this the office is closed but I will be calling the office first thing on Monday morning. Hopefully they will be able to offer me some help.
The GHE team worked hard to install 14 panels on my bungalow roof, plus two inverters and a myenergi Zappi car charging station - cheap electricity for motoring and home.

Solar panels are working well & have cut the electric bill down but I don't understand when the batteries are full in the evenings the smart meter shows using a lot of electric when it's only tv & light on

Once we took the initiative to go for Solar panels 18 months ago I benchmarked 6 companies and at that time GHE came out the highest. Having made my choice then, I have to say we’ve never looked back as they are both professional and supportive in every possible way.
I wanted to put solar panels on my roof at the back end of 2022, and wanted to use a local company, and found GHE Solar. The correspondence with the team was all good, and quick. They presented and revised the plan several times until I felt I had a good match of panels, battery and inverter. GHE arranged everything including all necessary regulatory forms and scaffolding. The day came to install the panels and battery, and the team were done in a day. The work was done tidily with all cabling neatly done. Really happy with the service GHE provided.
Installation was carried out well but there was some lack of communication between the planning and installation.
The solar panels were installed very quickly and efficiently. The electrical connection took a little longer but the workmen were very efficient and professional. We have had no problems with the installation and are receiving very good solar power when it is not raining. I would definitely recommend this company as the administrating staff are also very helpful and efficient.
Superb company. Always responded to emails quickly, explained everything as we went along - had a solar array installed over a 2 day period and got them to replace our consumer unit a few months later (they don't just do solar) - everyone who asks, I recommend GHE Solar.

Have been very impressed with them, the firtters where really professional and informative. one small problem though I seem to have pigeons nesting under the panels, and don’t know what I should do,.
Initially installation went smoothly until they decided they wanted to run cables down the centre of a eall in the lounge. I declined (this was not mentioned in the survey) so they put trunking through cloakroom ceiling, into corner of lounge and up into bedroom, hitting water pipe causing flooding! Total nightmare. Took private plumber 2 days to sort out.
GHE Solar fitted my 12 panel system and battery storage in Mid October 2023 after a fairly short design stage which allowed me a great deal of input into size and layout to ensure it met my requirements with few compromises. The scaffolders, electricians and fitters had the plan down to such a fine art that the entire system was up and running in less than a day and much less chaotic than I expected. A small glitch with the programming of the battery, which didn't charge on day 2, was fixed the very next day when I reported the fault to GHE. The entire system has been working well ever since despite the awful cloudy and wet weather over the winter period, which is to be expected. On one glorious sunny day in February the system gave a more than sufficient 13kwh of energy to power my house which is a good omen for the greater amounts I can expect daily in the Spring/Summer/Autumn months. I particularly welcomed the unsolicited advice from GHE in midwinter recommending that the battery be fully charged from the National Grid once a fortnight, when solar generation was low, to keep the battery exercised and maintain its optimum lifetime. Finally, GHE helped me to put together all of the correct documents needed to apply for a contract to sell my excess power to my energy company at a very good feed-in tariff. The single gripe I can come up with is that the battery capacity (about 5kwh) is inadequate to cover my overnight usage from sundown to sunrise and this will become more pronounced when the system produces more energy than I need during the day and feeds it in to the National Grid only for the battery to discharge overnight due to background power usage and start taking power from the National Grid at a greater price per kwh than I get for the feed-in tariff. Not a very cost-effective use of my system. This is my own fault for focussing too much on the solar panel installation during the design stage and not enough on the battery storage requirements. A 7kwh battery would have been optimal.
We had solar PV and battery installation in June 2023 plus a battery extension in November. We were very impressed with the efficiency of the engineer and all the team at GHE. They provided a lot of information and guidance and we were kept well informed throughout the process. We are very happy with the system and would not hesitate to recommend GHE to anyone considering a similar install!

Just fitted solar panels. Very competent, professional and nice people to do business with. Communicated well. Not the cheapest for a standard configuration. But they maximised the panels, so small increase in installation cost made it more cost effective. Highly Recommended
Ghe in association with British Gas turned up at my mothers home with no prior warning or letter and tried access my home to the point that she felt she was being harassed into booking an appointment in a couple of months time. This is cold calling and illegal, especially when with no prior warning the way they are going around there business is not great and seems to act like sales people. Very unsafe and dangerous especially as only one person turns up and hasn’t knocked on anyone else’s door in my close, she is frightened now to open the door as they went over the top with a badge tha never had British Gas on it and a high vis which could Of been printed anywhere. Please go around your business a little bit better as use are causing distress and harassment. Cameras on the house and photos of the man in question has been circulated on social media for all to know the pressure tactics applied to a old age pensioner, shouldt be allowed to do this and if return lik this again will be forcefully and politely told to p off.
GHE have been a pleasure to deal with. Their electricians and roofers are highly skilled and motivated, their office staff are polite and professional and the final price matched their quote. We're really happy with our solar panel installation and would definitely recommend them.
Wouldn't recommend, customer service doesn't exist, reply to emails every couple of days ,they make you feel like they doing you a favour for what you have to pay.
GHE were fantastic - I would highly recommend them. They always replied promptly to my emails and answered all of my little questions. We had our work done via the Government's Boiler Scheme, which required GHE to apply for a voucher before the work could be completed. All of this was done quickly and smoothly. The gentlemen that GHE had come and do the work were also great - they were efficient, polite and made sure to clean up after themselves. One of the sensors on our new heat tank broke, and they made sure to come and get it fixed. Best of all, they charged us what they originally quoted.
Worked with these guys for over 10 years now on various projects, always professional, polite and customer focussed. GHE Solar ltd have actually helped me to develop my own company by using their operating standards as an example within my own company. Great solar panel installer
Hopeless. Emailed to arrange an appointment but this business did not reply back so have gone elsewhere. Talks the talk but can't do the basics which doesn't bode well. One to avoid 👎
