After having some worrying concerns about my boiler, lewington's were fantastic they got an engineer out the very next day and he spent quite a bit of time looking over every part of my boiler and really put my mind at rest. Fantastic and efficient service as always, thanks guys.

Arrogant driver parking partially across driveways. Not a word of apology, just a cocky response. The office team were apologetic, however, it was the driver/engineer who was rude.

We were recommended Lewingtons by the previous owner of our house so we decided it would be a good idea to keep the continuity. We were very pleased that the engineer who came yesterday actually serviced the boiler since it was put in. Tim was really great, so lovely and he tweaked our system and explained loads of things we didn't know about, thanks Tim. Our system now seems to be working so much better. We think we'll stick to Lewingtons and hopefully we can work with Tim to ensure our boiler continues to be looked after in the future. Thank you.

Adam assesed the job and provided a reasonable and fair quote to remove unvented water cylinder and system boiler and replace with Combi boiler and a new radiator. The 3 guys Ben, Ian and Zach who did the work were brilliant, very hard working, reliable, efficient and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. Would highly recommend.

Quick effect friendly service

We have used Lewington for all of our plumbing requirements at the Wheel and Compass from 2007. They have completed work sometimes at very short notice and at unsociable hours. They are prompt and arrive here when we need them. The work often has to be completed out of pub hours. They are always accommodating.

A first class service from start to finish. Made an initial enquiry and Ian came out, give advice on all aspects including tank base and placement. Came on date arranged and had a quote in a few days. Made contact with Lewingtons and arranged dates to have a new oil heating system installed. Ian and Christian did the work to an extremely high standard and were a pleasure to have about the house. Then another two engineers commissioned the system and sent certifies for the work completed. I’m totally happy with Lewingtons, you may get a cheaper quote but you won’t get this standard of service and workmanship! Thank you Lewingtons take a bow,

3rd time since Jan, still not fixed problem with my boiler

Depends who does your job, younger chaps are not as good as the more experienced and older ones. Did some plumbing work for me and the attention to detail on the finished work was a bit shoddy with screws showing. Checked leaking taps and they had to look at google to see how to dismantle them, and then left them in a worse state than before they started them. Used someone else in the end for the taps. Also I had to chase up for quotes and details of products being supplied.

A stress free experience from quotation visit to completion. Two very competent and hard working chaps were with us for 3 days and did an excellent job. Friendly without being over chatty, highly skilled and tidy, they made good beyond our expectations. The price quoted was significantly lower than other quotes. I would recommend Lewington very highly indeed.

Two years ago Lewingtons got me out of trouble with my faulty boiler in the middle of a very cold snap, fast and efficient they soon had it up and running in no time. Fast forward 24 months and I still see Lewingtins each year for the oil fired boiler's annual service. Always polite and very professional I wouldnt hesutate to recommend their services.

Lewingtons replaced our old gas boiler with new hydrogen ready Worcester botch one, cleaned system, changed thermostats and fitted 2 zones - one for upstairs one for downstairs with Hive controls. Very efficient team managing to overcome the idiosyncrasies of our piping! Excellent job

Can't find enough superlatives for Lewington Heating! Am a Very happy customer! Having experienced setting-up/installation problems on a fairly new system that two other companies had failed to solve, and after online research, I decided to contact Lewingtons and explain the issues. Spoke to Jack who sounded understanding, friendly and professional which was a breath of fresh air, having felt totally 'fobbed off' by the 2 previous companies who had attended. Had to wait a few weeks for an appt but Darren the engineer arrived as scheduled and carefully and patiently went through the whole system, labelling up and making all the necessarry adjustments and manifold connections that proved necessary to get the heating working properly. I couldn't be more delighted with the outcome and not only that, but their bill too. Thankyou Darren and Lewington's for such a thorough job. I will recommend you - as the whole estate has these systems! Look forward to seeing you for my next service!

Had a new boiler fitted a couple of weeks ago, completed in a day, all work carried out as per the quote. Graham kept me updated with his work during the day and left it clean and tidy once completed. Highly recommend Lewingtons.

Lewington removed our gas boiler etc. and installed an Air Source Heat Pump, new cylinder, radiator and associated pipe work and electrics. Incredibly efficient, professional and super-clean work and a great experience end to end!! Darren was superb through. 100% recommended.

After finding we had no hot water one morning we called Lewington's and got a visit by lunchtime. They soon found the problem was a faulty pump and replaced it there and then. Very swift and polite service from the two young technicians. We were really pleased that this fault was sorted out so well by Lewington's.

I was extremely impressed with the speed and efficiency of the John, the plumber who came to mend a bad water leak from the shower in my main bathroom which had been leaking through the ceiling to the Kitchen. I was dreading the mess/hole needed in the kitchen ceiling to find the leak but was pleasantly surprised with the fix!! Well done Lewingtons and thank you for making what could have been a nightmare so easy!

Poor customer service, do not follow up to emails and do not come back following investigation of problems.

Lewingtons responded very quickly to a boiler problem which could have been an emergency. The problem was quickly diagnosed and resolved all within an hour, which we thought was excellent for a Friday afternoon in December!

We have just had our boiler replaced by Lewington. The fact they were a Which Trusted Trader and local sealed the deal for us. We obtained a quote online from Boxt which was in fact cheaper, however you really do get what you pay for. An engineer attended to survey and advise on system requirements with a full explanation on why he was suggesting the system they have now installed. The actual install took 4 full days to complete due to them constantly finding problems with the old install and fixing them as they found them. This included replacing old 15mm copper pipes with 22mm pipes that would improve flow. The two installation engineers, George and Matt were superb. They kept us informed of progress and issues throughout the install and their workmanship was absolutely superb. They cleaned up as they went along and every night they left, you wouldn't know we were having major work done to the house. They were always polite and a credit to Lewington. I am convinced that if I had taken the cheaper option we would not have had the issues fixed. The fact they are local gives us peace of mind. An excellent service from start to finish. We are now going to get them to quote for a new bathroom.

Lewington installed my current gas boiler a few years ago and have maintained it annually since. I can honestly say that the boiler has never let me down and has always provided ample heat for heating and water. The service engineer has always been courteous, quick and efficient.

Lewingtons engineer has just attended to carry out the first annual service, a year after they installed our new Worcester Bosch oil boiler. The job was completed in the usual professional, careful, timely and cheerful manner which I've come to expect from Lewingtons. All necessary PPE was used, and working procedures followed, without any need for reminders.

Have used Lewington's a couple of times this year and on both occasions have been impressed with them. Polite, prompt and efficient. Would thoroughly recommend.

I had my cold water header tank replaced by them yesterday. Not an easy job in a cramped loft space and they did an absolutely fantastic job. Got the job done quickly, made no mess whatsoever and even managed to get the old tank out the loft in pieces. Very impressed. Will definitely be using them again!

We are in the process of having GSHP commissioned by Lewington’s. I chose them because out of all the companies I engaged with, Lewington’s were able to provide references and took me on a site visit to see a previous installation. Furthermore, I noticed that Lewington’s have a long-standing tradition of taking on apprentices. Lewingtons have dealt with several different issues at my house in recent months relating to a shower, leaky boiler and leaking pipes under the sink. Each time they have turned up on time, solved the issue quickly and done a great job. They have been highly efficient, professional and friendly. Have recommended them to many other people as the service has been excellent.

If a boiler is going to break down, it chooses a bad time, right in the midst of lockdown is not a good time. My previous engineer didn’t want to come out, and although the boiler was only 8 years old, it’s been so unreliable I decided time for a new one. Lexington’s came out the same day, assessed the requirement, suggested a suitable replacement and an upgrade, explaining both in plain English, written quote the next day, and as I’d had another quote a few months previously when it broke down (again) I knew the price was competitive. Gave the go ahead for the upgrade the next day, and later got a call to say they could fit it next week. Engineer arrived at the time they’d said, and by late afternoon the new boiler was up and running. When he’d gone, the only way we knew he’d been was the new boiler, everything cleared away and tidied, no mess. He came back next morning to cement the flue and explain the controls, job done. Very impressive with Lewingtons efficiency in all departments and at such a trying time. I’d heard good things about them, and I can not only confirm them, but can definitely recommend them. I shal almost look forward to their next visit to service the boiler,

We have used they services. Final bills can be surprising to the estimate given by the engineer on site. Otherwise fully professional and fast responding service.

I called Lewingtons out 2 weeks ago as our boiler wasn't working, the chap came out and adjusted it, no parts replaced..£42. The heating stopped working again so called out, again no parts replaced..£62, it's worked for 2 hours this time so all sat in coats. Not a good experience

Had boiler problems, called Lewingtons. Of course they were busy but managed to fit me in. Boiler repaired and running fine after just one visit, and very reasonable charges for parts and labour. Highly recommend these guys.
