J P Electrical

Brilliant company. Been using Jamie for many years now. Always on hand when I have issues. Would recommend

Highly recommended again !! I needed some different electrical works doing and didnt hesitate to go back to Jamie and his team. From initial consultation to completed works JP Electrical are a knowledgeable, skilled, experienced, friendly and polite team. They also repect the property and part of their ethos is cleaning up afterwards, the explanations of what they have done were understable, not a load of jargon to throw you, they dont hide anything, they are up front and honest. I am very pleased with works completed which were completed as quoted at a reasonable price. After every bit of work completed I was asked to have a look to see if I was happy. I cannot recommend JP electrical highly enough and will use their services anytime I need anything done.

I received excellent service from Jamie and his team, they gave great advice and recommendations prior to the work being done, the work was excellent, they were trustworthy and they worked very efficiently. Would highly recommend.

Recently obtained quotes for an EV charger installation. What surprised me (apart from the price) was a) no site visit before quotation and b) the requirement to pay upfront - around £900 - £1000 - before they would give you a fitting date - around 2 - 5 weeks from order is what most gave. I was not impressed. Then by chance I came across J P Electrical (Jamie Pateman). A different story……He visited site and we discussed cable runs etc. He gave a price; I accepted and we agreed a fitting date. The job was done on the date we agreed and I paid by card. Very happy with everything and Jamie also set up my phone apps, which saved me a few hours of reading the manual. Highly recommend this company.

I wanted to take a moment to provide feedback on the electrical services you recently provided. Overall, I am incredibly satisfied with the work you completed. Here are some specific points I'd like to highlight: Professionalism: Your professionalism was evident from the moment you arrived. You were punctual, courteous, and respectful throughout the entire process. Your demeanor instilled confidence, and it was clear that you were knowledgeable about your craft. Quality of Work: The quality of the electrical work you performed exceeded my expectations. Not only did you complete the tasks efficiently, but the attention to detail was exceptional. I appreciate the thoroughness with which you tackled each aspect of the job, ensuring that everything was done correctly and safely. Thank you Jamie

Fantastic personal service from Jamie and his team. Really neat install of my EV charger despite having to route power from one side of the house to the other. Would recommend JP Electrical most highly.

Jamie and team installed 7 kWp solar array and inverter along with EV charger. Fantastic job. Jamie also had an apprentice on site. I overheard Jamie talking to/assisting his apprentice in a friendly, intelligent and engaging manner; true sign of quality workmanship. Great professional team all round!

Needed to reinstall our solar panels after a mammoth full roof replacement and Jamie and his team was able to get everything sorted and back up and running as well as installing new bird mesh and checking the system was fully functional. Definitely recommended, Thanks.

Very happy with the installation service provided by Jamie and his team. The EV charger is neat and so discrete that people haven't even noticed it! Site left tidy...just a brush up of brick dust needed... 😎

Jamie & his team carried out a solar PV and battery installation for us. They were excellent, friendly and professional again, carrying out a neat, tidy job. Jamie explained the workings of the system and gave us continued confidence in this small company's abilities. Highly recommended, our go-to electrical company.

Reliable, professional and friendly service, a pleasure to do business with.

Jamie did the electrical work for our recent shower room refurbishment. We are very pleased with everything he did for us including a remote for our shower, new high spec extractor and various other enhancements. Jamie was prompt, friendly and highly professional in his dealings with us and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his services. Thank you Jamie!

Jamie and his team did a brilliant job fitting solar panels to our roof. He worked out the most efficient configuration for us and everything was well planned from start to finish. The work area was kept clean and tidy at all times and all his team are polite and friendly. I've used JP Electrical for various jobs since buying our house a few years ago and the work has always been fab and very reasonably priced too. My solar project came in at over £6k less than the big national companies quoted me and was completed a lot sooner too. I always recommend Jamie when anyone asks for an electrician, he's never let me down.

Prompt response to our initial enquiry and throughout. Very happy with communication and work completed - would recommend without hesitation!

They did an amazing job for us! We’ve had lighting issues in our kitchen for over a year and kept putting it off. Two visits from J P Electrical and our kitchen is brightly lit, no more dull, flashing lights and all the lights turn on at the same time now 😂 they were fast, professional, friendly and left my kitchen tidy. They explained to me the issues that were occurring and the different solutions they could offer. Highly recommend and wish I had called them a year ago!

Overall, a fantastic service - I will be keeping their number firmly in my phone!

The young lad who came to do the report was very honest, didn't hide anything and have me an indication of what needed to have attention. Very friendly.

Great service! Arrived when they said they would and sent a text to let me know when they were on their way. Booked us in quickly and were friendly guys. We had 8 spot lights fitted in our kitchen and we’re really happy with them, overall very happy with the service and would defiantly use them again.

Excellent service, will definitely use this company again.

Superb service all round. After a few lacklustre responses from other electricians, JP Electrical really set a benchmark; online booking system, responsive quotations, text message prior to arrival, quality workmanship and a pleasure to have in our home. Will use again and would highly recommend. First rate.

Really impressed with Jamie & Aaron, very professional & very friendly, did a great job with some minor electrical work and with a home inspection report, would definitely use their services again in future, highly recommended.

Jamie and Aaron completed an electrical survey of a house we're buying. They completed the inspection and had the report back to me within a week and they quoted the best price I had found in the area. They explained any issues on the report and provided an idea of how much any repairs would cost without pressuring me for them to do the work there and then. They were helpful, very responsive and generally so pleasant to deal with. Thanks so much!

Used J P Eletrical today for a new car charger the guys that came where very polite very tidy and did an excellent job. I would use these again for any eletrical works.

I contacted Jamie regarding a consumer unit upgrade. He was professional, quick to arrange a visit and provided a very reasonable quote. Arran and Tom arrived at the agreed date and time to carry out the work and were extremely polite and helpful. They fully explained everything they were doing and were neat and tidy throughout the job. Although there were some unexpected issues, requiring them to come out for a second day, there were no additional charges. Very happy and will be using again for future work.
