We've used this firm for plumbing on two occasions now. They have been utterly reliable, turning up on time and doing the job perfectly. Indeed the last time the person who came went further then he needed to, going back to his office to find some fresh insulation to an external pipe then returning and fitting it for us. That was not part of the job I had called them for. And they do not charge ridiculous prices! I am pleased to recommend them and will be happy to use them again if and when need be.

Had a leak originating from the flexible connection between the tap and the supply pipe on a basin. I relayed this to the person on their phone number. The company promptly dispatched a plumber, who confirmed that the flexi connection was faulty and informed me that a new tap would be required. For his 5mins of work I was then charged £108, for information I was mostly already aware of and could have been told over the phone. Had I known in advance that replacing the tap was necessary, I would have purchased one beforehand. Bah!

A few months ago, I decided to convert my water delivery system at home from vented to unvented: move from gravity delivery from a tank in the attic to mains pressure, thereby ensuring consistent pressure throughout the house AND to increasing water flow by changing out old lead pipes (around 10mm) to plastic (24mm). As a period house this meant changing everything from mains to tap, which meant managing the supplier (Thames Water) and the contractor (Twickenham Green Plumbing & Heating - TGP). I had used TGP for years to perform routine maintenance around the house and had experienced that their engineers knew their business and were always willing to share their technical opinions - not to increase revenue but to satisfy customer needs. So I was not surprised when TGP engineers did an excellent job, or even TGP subcontractors doing the ground works taking extra care to minimise disruption to the flower border (for instance). In my experience, it is rare that the people doing the work fail to deliver - what fails is planning and management (oversight). And this was a big job with many moving parts. I don’t know about you but with the various works I have had done on my house in the last few years, I have found those in the building trade run on a different calendar to the rest of the world. Everything gets done when their chaotic supply/delivery stars are aligned, which is profoundly probabilistic leaving them completely unaccountable. Not so TGP - planning is owned by the front desk, which means that when you call, the person who picks up the phone knows what all the moving parts are and has the authority to make changes on the fly - amazing! That includes pricing as well as scheduling alternatives. What makes it all come together in the end is oversight - oversight on planning (a deep knowledge of end-to-end delivery) as well as quality control, and this is what TGP have to bring it together. The manager drops in unannounced at regular intervals to explain the detail and optionality to clients who lack the content knowledge, and to ensure that the delivery is up to his (in this case) standards. His technical team all defer to his judgment because he knows every detail of the project at hand and is able to act on course changes immediately. It is impressive whichever way you look at it. In the end, both Thames Water and TGP played their parts but it was the resourcefulness of TGP that made it all happen in a matter of days, not weeks as I had prepared myself for.

At very short notice Twickenham and Sheen Green Plumbing fixed an external pipe that had come away from the wall. The two plumbers carried out the work professionally and with good humour - it was pouring with rain! I'll definitely use T and SG again.

Plumber came to fix a leak in a recently installed radiator. The installer had already tried and failed. The plumber from Sheen Green fixed it in about 15 minutes. The company also has an office to call with prompt phone answer, an easy payment system, and seem quite professional.

If I couId give zero I would. If you are a woman who lives alone I STRONGLY URGE you not to use this company. After a catastrophic leak fron upstairs that left my kitchen in a state of ruin, the neighbour above me called Sheen Green Plumbing and Heating. I let them in to my property to look at the split pipe and whilst having a conversation with the neighbour above, they proceded to start work without my consent. I came back down to my property and found a large hole in my wall. I asked them to leave and they became quite huffy. They left in such a rush that they left their drill in the road. As thames water had worked through the night only hours before, neither myself or the neighbour were sure of who exactly the drill belonged to but were sure that they would return to collect it. A day later both myself and my neighbour received calls verging on harasment, accusing us of theft!I have had to call the police to log the whole diabolical incident. When I called the company to complain about my treatment the response was "you were pathetic, crying, begging for our help" I was horrified to hear that the neighbour had paid them for an hours work after being harassed in to doing so. I have reviewd the company on facebook who firstly claimed that they had never attended my property and then later said that they had but the workmen had left because I had become aggressive. I was asked to remove my review and I have refused. I will not be intimidated or silenced and don't wish this kind of treatment for anyone else already in a tricky spot. I am currently talking to trading standards and hope that the neighbour can claim back her costs.

Our boiler needed to be replaced last week. As much as I dreaded to have this done at this time of the year I was pleasantly surprised by the very fast, efficient and very competent work by Mariusz. He arrived at 9am and left by 2pm. house warm, all trace of work cleared up and paperwork filled in. I can only recommend his work. Thank you

Excellent friendly service to install a new boiler. Our existing rather old and strange plumbing proved problematic and further work was necessary to replace the central heating pump and a blocked section of pipe. Three plumbers toiled with this until early evening and then one returned briefly the next day to complete the commissioning.

27th December leaking raditor horror - the worst time to need an emergency plumber, right? - but these guys were quick, helpful and charged what they said they'd charge. Would certainly use them again.

Boiler fitted today by Marius & Tamar, very professional work, cleaned up afterwards. My boiler is situated in a cupboard which had to be dismantled, they put the cupboard back after they'd finished which was very helpful,would definitely recommend to family & friends, thanks Sheen Green for making a necessary job quite painless.
