We had been seeking to install solar panels for sometime and had sought various quotes from suppliers. All came back with very basic options, issues about the roof space etc. Snyth Solar were recommended to us by a neighbour - and from the outset we were confident that we had found the supplier that we were seeking. We felt that they presented credible solutions and when challenged on the data modelling, Tom (Snyth Solar) was able to clearly articulate the calculations and background assumptions to show the return on investment. Worked with Tom and Fabian to install solar panels on a residential property that was undergoing a large extension. The whole experience was great. They are nice people, knowledgeable, competitive, worked with me on some non standard stuff (like a switch to bypass the grid in the event of a power outage) and on provided a great after sales service. In particular, i liked the video quote. Highly recommend.

We had our solar panels installed over the period of 6 months. I could not thank Fabian and the guys at Synth enough. They accommodated our last minute change of supplier due to them being highly recommended to us. Within 2 weeks of contacting them, we had our panels installed to take advantage of the scaffolding. Then, we were not ready for the battery and invertor to be fit, they patiently waited until we were ready. I just can't fault their service. We are extremely happy with the performance of our panels and with the professional, speedy and courteous service provide all the way.

We had a great experience with the Synth team getting setup with our solar system for our home. They worked really hard to come up with the best arrangement of panels, batteries and inverters, providing lots of options for different arrangements. The team modelled the roofs and local shading, provided cost breakdowns and estimated pay back periods. They helped me through planning and building control permits. They helped plan the routes for the cabling to make it as discreet an install as possible. The installation was complete in a few days, with a great looking end product.The black panels are all installed on the roof using black fixings to blend in well with the slate roof - great attention to detail from the team. The analytics they provide on their platform is great and really insightful including a comparison of all the current tariffs, indicating which would be best for your system setup and usage. We had a very smooth process from quotation to having the work done over 2 days with Fabian being on site with the installation team - this makes a huge difference in having the peace of mind to be able to ask all our questions through the day. We were really pleased with the whole service provided by synth solar. The initial consultation was detailed, informative and transparent. Max calculated what solar panels would mean financially for our household and how the long term gain would be achieved. There was good consideration of the particulars of our household and it felt like we were getting a set up that was specifically designed to maximise our house/roof design rather than a standard package. The installation was swift with good management from synth solar. A day after the installation, we noticed a couple of small changes we wanted made to the panel set up, and synth actioned these changes promptly. We were given follow up guidance on energy companies that would pay for our excess electricity. We can also now clearly see on our app how self sufficient we are and how much is going back to the grid. It’s great to see how much money we have saved already just in spring! We are really glad we went for solar panels and with our choice to go with synth. I would highly recommend.

We worked with Synth on a large commercial rooftop solar project in Aberdeen. Synth were engaged at every moment, from exploring the feasibility of the project, through design, sourcing the best equipment, and the install itself. The project ran smoothly from start to finish, and Synth always worked tirelessly to overcome the challenges we encountered (and there were many with a complex install like this). They also continually optimised the design, for example by sourcing more efficient panels and a cheaper solution for connecting the inverters, which made the financial case for the project even better. Synth Solar (Max & Fabian primarily) is an absolute pleasure to work with. The team is extremely knowledgeable about all of the intricacies and complexities of a solar installation but I felt supported and informed throughout the whole project. Max and Fabian were very clear in their presentations, the documentation sent through for review was high-quality and information-rich which was just what I needed! I never felt pressured to buy a particular solution (or any solution!): they presented the merits of their suggestions and helped us to come to the most sensible solution for all of our current (pun fully intended!) needs. We chose to go ahead with a relatively small installation for now and the organisation pre-installation along with the installation itself went smoothly and all wrinkles (there are always wrinkles!) were well-handled and resolved professionally. The after-care is superb: not only do we have an app to see how much electricity is generated but Synth Solar have also developed a superb web-based dashboard with all manner of fascinating insights which really appeals to my geeky nature! This dashboard even goes as far as suggestions for which energy tariffs would be the right ones to move on to in order to make maximal benefit from the solar generation. The very few minor snags encountered have also been dealt with and resolved extremely smoothly and, in some cases, remotely! I wholeheartedly recommend Synth Solar for your solar installation needs and we will be using them again in future when we come back for additional panels on the main roof! That is the best recommendation I can give!

We had a great experience buying and installing our new solar panels and batteries with Synth Solar. Their knowledge was great and they were happy to answer all of my silly questions. From initial advice to our fully installed solar panels and battery, Synth Solar answered all our questions and provided reassurance that we were dealing with knowledgeable professionals. There was never pressure nor any big technical sales pitch and they responded quickly to all our questions. Their installation partners were similarly reassuring and the whole installation was completed on the designated day. We know everything works as expected, and all we need now, is some decent sunshine 🤔once this winter is over with.

No questions were viewed as foolish and a range of options were given to consider, with timely response to queries pre and post completion. Everything was so easy. We have a very tall house with limited roof space but the team were really smart in scoping the best solution. They stepped us through every stage, installed in a day and the end product looks great, works great and is already paying for itself.

It was a great experience working with Synth Solar. As ever it's less about the installation being seamless but more about their approach when something went wrong. The team were super attentive to questions and concerns, and helped us navigate a tricky situation when some bird netting came away shortly after installation. What could have been an awkward situation with many companies, was completely taken "under their wing" and sorted out quickly and efficiently. The team have kept in touch since the repair to check that nothing else has gone wrong. It's this sort of customer service that makes all the difference. The Synth Solar LED relay they supplied has been great for engaging the kids with the solar panels that otherwise would be out of sight up on the roof. We can easily keep an eye on whether or not my battery is topped up, how much we're generating and whether or not it's an ideal time to put on the tumble dryer. The visibility of the system makes us all more conscious about how we're using energy, which from April->October meant I barely had any electricity bill (after export-to-grid paid for standing charges). Would definitely recommend.

It was a pleasure working with both Tom and Max throughout the process. From start to finish the level of detail and professionalism was refreshing. The guys at Synth Solar have helped me set up the solar installation I inherited when I moved into my new home. They did this without charge and were really friendly, responsive and professional along the way. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Ours was a complex undertaking, requiring panels on the top of the 3rd floor roof at the front of the house and to a sloping roof at the rear of the house, requiring separate scaffolding. It was done in a day - albeit the scaffolding was already there before they arrived. The inner cables went under the flooring and hence could not be seen. It was a clever, rapid job. The company has my fullest recommendation. Here are shots of the work being done.

We are renovating our terraced house in a conservation area in London and Synth Solar supported us from the beginning of our solar journey to design the right system for our house. We have built a garden room and we have put 9 solar panels on the new metal roof. We put another 3 panels on our top roof dormer and also 3 on our mansard wall. Tom and Max were very hands-on and performed a site visit so we were all clear where equipment and cabling would go. On the basis of this they made a 3D plan so we always knew exactly what we could expect. Max was there for the installation itself and they co-ordinated with our onsite building team. The system is generating electricity nicely and we can monitor it with our Synth SunDial which comes as part of the price. For me communication is key and this company has been best-in-class for being available to answer questions from our side and for being proactive with information throughout the project. Couldn’t recommend them more.

The system was very professionally and neatly installed within a day while going the extra mile in every respect.

I used Syth Solar to repair a disconnection issue that occurred with my solar battery storage system. Their communication is great and they identified the problem and fixed it really quickly. Really good at what they do and really nice people too! I would have no hesitation recommending them.

This was a seamless and wonderfully easy install process. Right from the clear information in estimating costs/benefits, to the easy setup. Install was amazing - 24 hours from start to finish, including all electrics, scaffolding up and down, with Matt around the whole time to make sure it's all going fine. By 5pm we had 5.5kW providing all our power. Completely impressive!

Synth installed panels on both our flat and pitched roof about 6 months ago. The inverter and battery were fitted neatly in our attic eaves. The system has worked great and they have proactively monitored our system since installation to make sure everything is working well. The after-sales service has been fantastic--they are incredibly responsive always happy to answer any questions I have on how things work and how to get the most out of our solar system.

As my house is a bungalow in a conservation area, it was really important that the solar installation looked good aesthetically. Synth did a great job on this by installing pitch black panels and customised solar “skirt” - this makes the panels look slick on the front of the house and in-keeping with the roof line. We managed to fit 16 panels on the house and we have essentially been “off grid” since then and selling a lot of electricity back to the grid.

Synth Solar did a great job designing and installing our solar power system. All the equipment they used was top quality, the installation is perfectly neat and actually looks really nice. Most of all the service from Max and Tom was fantastic throughout and we love being able to see how much power we are generating, using and storing!

Tom and Max have quite literally hooked us up with the sun. And boy, do they do it well. From consultation through to installation, they were a dream. Never patronising or pressurising, we - and our house - were looked after throughout by the two of them and their team, and we couldn’t happier. Would definitely recommend Synth Solar. By far the most comprehensive quote information from those I sourced. Very easy, straightforward and pleasant to deal with. Efficient service and installation (installed in one day). Three weeks later and they are still keeping an eye on my system to monitor everything works as should and in fact they always will, which gives reassurance. We had 12 panels installed on our three roofs: front and rear pitched roofs and the flat roof at the top of the house; as well as an inverter and 5.2 kWh battery.
