Cooper and Cooper Electrical South Ltd

’m extremely happy with my new solar panels! The installation was smooth and professional, and the team explained everything clearly. My energy bills have dropped significantly, and I love knowing I’m using clean, renewable power every day. The system looks great, performs even better, and the app makes it easy to track my energy savings. I’d highly recommend these solar panels to anyone thinking about going solar—definitely a smart investment!

Excellent service. I thoroughly recommend this company. Everything was carried out to perfection and the original quote remained accurate. A friendly, efficient service, which was fully explained from start to finish.

Just had PV and battery system installed. Just brilliant. 4 guys arrived and worked in complete harmony to get the whole installation completed in a day. They were lovely. Helpful if we had any questions, professional and just got on with the job. I would highly recommend Laurence and his team if you are looking for a solar installation. Just keep the team supplied with tea and coffee!

Great experience with this company , price was very competitive, contractors were very professional , neat and tidy . Had it all completed in one day. The after care with Lawrence is great. Help setting up the app and all the settings. Had a small problem with the circuit breaker and it was dealt with within 24 hours . Also a £50 Amazon voucher was a nice gift for referring my neighbour over the road. Am looking to upgrade some more in the coming months. 5 star service

Cooper and Cooper have just installed solar panels, battery and EV charger for us. Laurence Cooper came to visit us to discuss what we wanted and explained everything in a way that we could understand (we are new to this type of technology). There was no pressure to buy anything – we said we were getting two other quotes and he told us to look at out for MCS certification, which was really helpful and something we didn’t know about. We got other quotes but Laurence was the most reasonable and certainly the most helpful and friendly. The installation was carried out really well. The electricians inside the house were friendly, efficient and professional, doing the job quickly and extremely tidily. The solar panels look great (and work very efficiently – we’re really pleased to see we’ve gone off-grid and are generating more than we use). The car charger is perfect (care was taken to make sure it was exactly where we wanted it, even though this meant more work for the electricians). Laurence has shown us how everything works, and explained it all, including the app. He’s told us he’s available for advice if we need it. We've got all the warranties and certificates we need. We’re really pleased with the installation and definitely recommend Cooper and Cooper if you're looking for this sort of work.

Having already approached (and being disappointed by) the large energy companies, I was recommended Cooper & Cooper who were truly fantastic to deal with from the very start through. Laurence was so kind and helpful, his knowledge was extensive and he was able to suggest a solution that was ideal for our situation. The engineers were very polite and friendly (even played football with my son during their break) they were tidy and incredibly fast but also installed the setup to a very high standard (exceeding my expectations). I honestly cannot recommend Cooper & Cooper enough!

Fantastic work by the team, Would highly recommend them to our own customers.

Cooper & Cooper didn’t just install a solar inverter and battery—they made the whole process feel easy, smart and surprisingly satisfying. From the first conversation, they were clear, honest, and on top of the details. No sales waffle, no pressure—just straightforward advice and a proper plan. On installation day, the team turned up right when they said they would, were friendly, tidy, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. What I appreciated most was how they made the technical stuff feel simple. Now I’ve got a system that not only works brilliantly, but also makes me feel like I’ve done something properly future-proof. There’s something incredibly smug (in the best way) about knowing I can still have a hot shower during a power cut. It’s like having a backup generator and a bit of peace of mind. Since the install, I’ve found myself checking the app a little too often—there’s a strange joy in seeing the battery fill up from the sun. It makes you feel like you’re one step ahead. Highly recommend them if you’re thinking about solar. They’re the kind of company that gets it right, from start to finish.

I felt I was in safe hands with local professional solar company called Copper-and-Copper. It's was the only quote that came with insurance back 10 year guarantee. Laurence was extremely knowledgeable and had an answer for all my questions and both Luke's worked extremely hard. We have a 7 kilowatt solar system with half south facing the other north. Surprisingly it's March and mid day we are getting 4.2 in three hours I top up my car with 75 miles from sunlight. It has been a month and our house has *not* paid for any grid energy, even on cloudy grey day we can still add a few kilowatts into the battery.

Technically knowledgeable and friendly team. Nothing seems too much trouble. 100% recommend Lawrence and his team.

Wanting to choose a local company Cooper & Cooper came well recommended and did not disappoint. The Team arrived and carefully and considerately instal all the panels, battery, inverter and all the necessary internal connections in the planned timescales. They also came back to temporarily remove then refit the battery & inverter while other work was taking place on the property. Thank you also for t aking the time to explain the workings of the system and how to get the best out of the App.

Fabulous all the way through from the initial consultation, solution definition, installation and the commisioning. Very helpful with discussing queries to ensure we were happy with the system being offered and the location of all the equipment, and the knowledge provided gave us the confidence to commit to the system. They spent time explaining each part of the system, even creating a custom guide to the switchover and isolations. CooperCooper really care about what you as a customer want and ensure that you understand what you are getting against what you think you need or want, they are not just selling you whatever they can which is really important. Would definitely recommend them if you are considering solar or battery options.

Laurence and the team at Cooper & Cooper were absolutely fantastic from our very first moment of contact. Laurence gave excellent advice and made the whole process straightforward with his knowledge & enthusiasm. The whole team went above and beyond with their efficiency coupled with constant care taken within our home and all round politeness. I have already recommended Laurence & the team to friends and would definitely use their services again.

Cooper+Cooper have been excellent from start to finish. I requested a quote for solar and home battery and they were prompt in communication. Laurence was very helpful from the onset and great to deal with. Their expertise and help with providing information was fantastic and the install got underway very quickly, professionally and efficiently. I am extremely satisfied with the level of service and product delivery. I cannot recommend enough as you will get much better value and a more personal service from Cooper+Cooper than many of the bigger companies out there. Thank you very much for my install.

We are so impressed with the professionalism, quality and punctuality of Cooper and Cooper. Would recommend them wholeheartedly.

These guys installed an in roof system for me a few months back, really happy with the way they carried out the work. Very professional and friendly, could not recommend any more.
