Reviews
4.5
Steven R Paterson Limited has mostly positive reviews, with several people describing helpful and professional service and good workmanship. One reviewer said a heating engineer explained their heat pump system clearly, and another reported a ground source heat pump problem fixed with ingenuity. A few reviewers mentioned quick or prompt help and work finished ahead of schedule. One reviewer was very negative, saying a stove quote took two months with no contact and a visit was then pushed back months, which they saw as a lack of respect for their time.
Recently moved to a property in Orkney and there was a heat pump system in place, installed by Patersons 10 years ago. The heating engineer - Craig- came out to explain the system and did a service on our heating system. We now feel fully in control of how we heat our home. Which is important for energy saving over the winter. Everything was explained and our questions were answered. Thank you to the team and to Craig for coming out so promptly. We will definitely be back when we need to renew our system. Highly recommend this professional service. Thank you.
Excellent company
Very good workmanship and an excellent after sales service. They go out of their way for the customer.
Excellent service from beginning to end. The team at Paterson's were expert and helpful. They did exactly what they said they would do - and completed the work ahead of schedule. I recommend them highly.
Absolutely first class. Visited within 3 hours of my first call. Problem with a ground source heat pump. Assessed problem and arranged a return visit the following day. Following day and they arrived and fixed a tricky issue with some ingenuity and a happy and positive demeanor. Could not have been better. Well done Paterson and his team.

Great place
Very helpful staff
Very quick at fabrications
Incredibly unprofessional. Went in two months ago to get a quote on installing a stove. Said they were quite busy and that they could come out in six to eight weeks to take a look. Heard nothing for two months. Got back in touch, now they will not be able to even come look until OCTOBER (it's currently June). Absolute lack of consideration or respect of other peoples' time. Will certainly not get our business.
