I recently had an EV charger installed by AA Electrical and Renewables and couldn’t be happier with the service provided. From start to finish, the communication was excellent—everything was clearly explained, and any questions I had were answered promptly and thoroughly. My installation was never going to be straightforward due to where my parking area is. The communication on how we could make the install as easy as possible was very detailed and they organised groundworks too. The electrician even picked up that I didn’t have an earth cable, previous companies hadn’t picked this up. This meant working with the Grid to get the necessary works completed. Greg and his team did most of the leg work with this too. The installation itself was carried out to a very high standard. The work was neat, tidy, and completed with real attention to detail. It’s clear there’s a fantastic work ethic behind the service, which really shows in the final result. After trying many firms over the years, we finally found a contractor that consistently turns up on time and delivers exactly what they promise. We’ve been working with them for around 18 months now, and the experience has been excellent. Their work is professional, completed in a timely manner, and priced very fairly — outstanding value for money. Finding a contractor who is both reliable and honest has been one of the biggest challenges in our business, and this team has truly stood out. We’ve used their services for EICRs, new consumer unit installations, electrical upgrades, and fault finding, and every job has been handled efficiently and to a high standard. Highly recommended.

From the moment I contacted them I have been impressed with their communication, advice and professional experience. Mani did the work in the flat and explained everything clearly before and after the work was completed. I felt confident the work would be done to a high standard and was not disapointed. Greg also kept me well informed and all in all I would say the experience was a good one, where I felt I was in safe experienced hands; so much so that we have asked them to do further work in the flat.

Mani came by on extremely short notice and he was friendly, professional, and did a bang up job for an extremely reasonable rate. I'll be going to AA for all of my electrical needs from now on.

I had asked Greg and Mani to come and add some extra sockets to a house I had just moved into and to carry out and electrical survey on the house. Unfortunately the survey showed the house was an electrical death trap! Instantly, you worry about costs and the hassle of having all the work done but the team were fantastic. We met multiple times to talk everything through and Mani explained it in simple terms with no fancy jargon! I was sent drawings and every time a change was made a new drawing was sent. We were able to sit and work things out to anyone budget that I could afford, no hard push to have extras done etc. I was fortunate enough to be able to move out and let the guys crack on, the work was carried out with no hassles or stresses, every day they cleaned up after themselves and I was always kept up to date with progress etc. If something needed changed from the original plan I was always consulted first. It's hard to find a good trades person but I can honestly say that Mani, Greg and the rest of the team were fantastic and I will use them again for any works and will 100% recommend them to anyone needing electrical work carried out. Thanks again!!

Solid work

I recently used AA Electrical & Renewable Services to replace numerous sockets and light switches at my property. From the outset I was impressed with Greg's willingness to accommodate my request at reasonably short notice. His communication throughout arranging the job was second to none. On the day, Mani arrived at the stated time and carried out the works in a professional and highly competent manner even hoovering up afterwards. Not just a skilled electrician but a decent and trustworthy guy too. To cap things off, the cost for the job was very reasonable. I will use this firm again and have no hesitation in recommending them.
