DSA Solar

When you get a solar system from David, you get dedicated, conscientious and tidy work from start to finish. Our system was installed very quickly after first consultation, all my questions were answered clearly and helpfully. The work on the house - sixteen panels, battery etc - was all complete in one day - great, trustworthy and friendly workmanship. In a world where it's harder and harder to trust workmen - David and his team are friendly, efficient, good workers and trustworthy - a proper genuine family business serving the local community! I wholeheartedly recommend DSA Solar!

Absolutely delighted with our solars .quick and professional installation very customer focused I have no hesitation in recommending DSA Solars 🥰 product quality exceptional and bespoke service tailored to suit your requirements.Thank you David we are over the moon

We recently had solar panels with a battery storage system and EV charger installed by David and his team, the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. David was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly before the installation. On the day of installation the team arrived early, worked hard and completed the job to a very high standard. They left everything clean and tidy, and the system looks great. Since the installation, everything has been working perfectly, and it’s reassuring to know we’re already seeing the benefits of generating and storing our own energy. I would highly recommend David and his company DSA solar to anyone considering solar panels and battery storage. Excellent workmanship, great customer service, competitive price and a smooth, hassle-free experience throughout.

If you're considering getting solar panels installed, I would 100% recommend choosing DSA. I shopped around and got multiple other quotes, and while some of the other companies were providing marginally cheaper quotes, I decided to go with DSA due to David. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional throughout the process. He provided impartial advice, and was happy to discuss the pros and cons of other quotes without trying to sell me on the kit he was installing. David will be completly honest and tell you if he thinks you don't need certain kit for what you're trying to achieve. David has a great attention to detail in his installs and that was really clear to me from the conversations beforehand. He was extremely responsive and happy to jump on a call to discuss details well into the evening. David and team installed 14 panels and a 10kw sigenergy system and I couldn't be happier. We won't be paying for electric for quite a while now! 10/10

Exceptional both in standard of workmanship and service. Would highly recommend

Fantastic experience from start to finish communication was brilliant excellent value for money and extremely professional throughout entire process. Can’t recommend highly enough

We recently had a solar panel array, batteries inverter and hot water heater installed by DSA. Great service from a professional team of installers. He also went out of his way to fix some historical electrical issues. Much appreciated! Highly recommend.

We recently had our solar system, battery storage, and EV charger installed by DSA, and I couldn't be happier with the service. David was excellent throughout the entire process – friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the system clearly, including the pros and cons of different options, and helped us understand the value of investing in quality equipment such as EcoFlow products and high-quality solar panels. Our installation included 18 solar panels, an EcoFlow inverter, a 10 kWh battery, an EV charger, and an immersion heater diverter, all of which were installed to a very high standard with very tidy wiring. There were a few teething issues after installation, none of which were DSA's fault, but David was incredibly responsive and resolved them quickly. He never made it feel like a hassle and was always happy to help. We're delighted with the finished system. I would highly recommend DSA to anyone considering solar, battery storage, or EV charging solutions.

Davey was great. The most responsive company wr had contacted. He was very accessible, answering questions for us right into the evening and less than 4 weeks after accepting his very competitive price we were up and running with panels, a battery and a car charger. The team were lovely and amazingly efficient, they were very thorough - even fixing some loose tiles they saw on the roof. Davey even came back the day we returned from holiday (the install finished the day we left) to make sure our car charger was registered and showed us how to use everything. He came highly reccomended from a friend and will be highly reccomended by us.

David and his team were very prompt and professional. They had the solar panels mounted in no time and the rest of the installation was stress free. David took the time to explain exactly how everything worked and we’ve been very impressed with how the panels are performing even on a cloudy day

From the outset David was super impressive, from his knowledge, to the communication , to the install, even the after sales has been absolutely superb, I got quotes from the “larger” companies, some gave me quotes and didn’t even visit my house, David talked me through what we should require and offered us the best equipment on the market in my opinion, from start to finish I cannot recommend this man enough, anyone that wants solar panels this is your man, local in my area, you will not regret it, i cannot tell you more that this business is absolutely superb, I would give him 10 stars if I could, thank you David

We have just had 16 solar panels, 10kW batteries and a car charger installed by David and his team. Very professionally done, with great attention to detail. The install was carried out quickly and efficiently with no cutting of corners and everything was left clean and tidy. By the end of the day we were generating our own electricity and filling our batteries! We would definitely recommend DSA Solar to anyone looking for a reliable installer.

Dealing with this company has been a pleasure from beginning to end. David came out and explained everything in terms I understood and designed a system matched exactly to our needs. The installation went exactly as planned and his team were professional and friendly. After sales is second to none with backup. We are absolutely thrilled with the complete system and have no hesitation in recommending this company.

From the minute we phoned David of DSA Solar, he was very helpful and efficient. Paperwork, calculations and costings provided promptly. We were very satisfied with the pay back period and the price. Work commenced on time with an expert team and good communication throughout. All work was very professional, high quality and very neat. We are delighted with this installation from David and team and would highly recommend him. The product is high quality, App simple to follow and we wish we installed this system sooner!

Excellent knowledge, advice abd service. Never tried to oversell and delivered an excellent installation. Site left clean and tidy afterwards.

After spending weeks researching and having site visits and quotations done we decided to go with DSA Solar and it's been the best choice. Not the cheapest quote but certainly the best value as it included more panels and the solar scheme designed was best suited to our needs. David designed a system far superior to others who just wanted to install the quickest and easiest set up. David designed using 19 panels rather than 14 that others were suggesting we install for a similar price and David saw an opportunity to use a gateway rather than us spending more to buy a generator for when power was out thus allowing the solar system to run off grid, saving us money and having a seamless switchover when needed. On our 2nd day we generated close to 30Kwhr of electricity, with the batteries taking most of that, our water being heated and rest back into grid. Unbelievably good system, great reassurance with warranties provided and both panels and battery install is msc certified (most companies out there are only msc certified for panels). Install was so tidy, no mess left and no corners cut. Definitely happy to recommend DSA Solar. We are so impressed we are already pricing another battery to add which using EcoFlow system that David uses is a simple add on.

I can't recommend David and his team highly enough. Explained the process from start to finish and completed the install in 2 days. Delighted with the results.

I wanted to upgrade my set up. David gave great advice. The equipment was fitted and set up with care. And after fitting the follow up service couldn't be any better. A great local business to deal with

I carried out extensive research into solar panels and battery backup systems before choosing DSA Solar, and I’m so pleased I did. David took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and sourced the Gen 3 panels I was looking for. He also supplied the GSE ground mount system, which we adapted to 37 degrees to achieve maximum efficiency based on the direction the panels are facing. His knowledge and attention to detail really stood out. On his recommendation, I went with a GivEnergy inverter and battery backup system. Initially, I had two 9.5kW batteries installed, but due to running a 14.4kW heat pump, I’ve since added a third battery to increase storage capacity. The flexibility of the system and David’s forward-thinking advice have made a big difference — the more storage I have, the better it works for my setup. Nothing was ever too much trouble for David and his team. From start to finish, the whole process was handled professionally and efficiently, and the quality of the installation was first class. I would highly recommend DSA Solar to anyone considering solar and battery storage. An excellent service all round.

Really good experience from initial enquiry to installation. No hard sell or trying to blind us with technological terms.

After months of researching solar due to our reliance on electricity (heat pump and working from home), I spoke with several installers. Many couldn’t answer basic technical questions or suggested incorrect setups. From the first conversation, David at DSA Solar stood out. His knowledge is excellent, and unlike many companies, you deal directly with an experienced installer, not a salesperson. David fully understood my requirements, suggested the right equipment, and highlighted things I hadn’t considered. The EcoFlow system was installed exactly as planned, on time, and to an exceptionally high standard. The workmanship was very tidy, no messy trunking or shortcuts and even a few storm-damaged tiles were fixed during the install. The system generated over 4.5 kWh on its first day in late December, which is very promising. Price was spot on, but remember the cheapest option isn’t always the best. There are plenty of cowboys out there - DSA Solar is not one of them. I have full confidence in their work and would highly recommend them. I have posted a more detailed review on TrustPilot for reference!

I got an upgrade of a Givenergy inverter and battery, to be added onto my solar system. David was brilliant as he talked though all the options (present and future), answered all questions and concerns. Very neat and professional install, will be the only company I use or recommend in the future. Thanks David

Can't recommend David and the team enough! From start to finish the service was spot on, they explained everything clearly with no jargon or fuss. The installation was done quickly and professionally and I would highly recommend them.

Just had system installed by DSA Solar. David was very informative and made sound recommendations before installing our system within a week. All the work was completed with the minimum of disruption and tidy workmanship. David also set us up by thoroughly explaining the app and how to get the most out if our system. Great job.

Definitely recommended. Thanks!

Absolutely unreal experience from start to finish! I had my solar panels installed and fully operational in just 2 days. Davey and the team were incredibly professional, fast, and efficient. They handled everything from commissioning to cleanup with zero hassle on my end. What I can’t recommend highly enough is I’m already seeing savings on my energy bill. It’s amazing how quickly the system started to make a difference. If you’re even remotely considering going solar, stop thinking and just do it these guys make it effortless and the results speak for themselves. Fast, clean, effective, and saving me money what more could I ask for? Highly recommend!

David, just want to say thank you to you and your team. I’m extremely pleased with the solar panel installation that DSA Solar recently completed at my home. From start to finish, David demonstrated both expert knowledge and professionalism. He was always available to answer my questions, no matter how many, and consistently offered honest, thoughtful advice. David and his team have just literally left our house this morning after finishing installing 15 solar panels, an inverter and battery system. From the first contact via phone to finishing the install David was very friendly and knowledgeable in all aspects that this solar novice asked off him. Work completed to a very high standard and we are very pleased with the end product. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending David and DSA to anyone considering getting a system installed.

David and his team installed an array of panels, Inverter, 10kwh battery and myeddi immersion heater controller. Our panel install was tricky because of our roof configuration and one company wouldn't even give a quote which was very disappointing. David's team tackled any issues immediately, talked through a number of solutions and implemented the best option. The communication with David was first class, responsive and always helpful. Our system is working very well and we are already seeing the benefits of the solar installation and the flexibility provided by the entire system. I have no hesitation in recommending DSA solar

Incredible Solar Panel and Battery Installation Services I wholeheartedly endorse DSA Solar for their exceptional solar panel and battery installation services. Their team exhibited utmost professionalism, expertise, efficiency, and punctuality throughout the entire process. They conducted a thorough consultation, meticulously tailored a system that perfectly aligned with my requirements, and executed the installation with precision and meticulous care. Furthermore, they provided valuable insights and recommendations regarding other aspects of my property that could benefit from improvements. The quality of the equipment employed, namely GivEnergy, is truly remarkable. I have already observed a significant reduction in my energy expenditures. The battery storage solution has proven to be an invaluable asset, enabling me to store electricity during off-peak hours when tariffs are favorable and utilise it during periods of high demand. This has resulted in even greater cost savings and enhanced energy independence. It is noteworthy that DSA Solar offered the most competitive pricing for the type of installation I required. The DSA Solar team consistently demonstrated their commitment to customer satisfaction by promptly addressing any queries and providing unwavering support, even after the inst allation was successfully completed. Solar panels installed on our house in October 2023. Very smooth process, with David being able to advise on what was best suited to our needs. The panels look sleek and we are already seeing our electric bill coming down despite it being winter! I absolutely recommend using DSA Solar.

DSA are a professional solar, EV and battery storage installation company. David listened to my requirements and gave his professional advice on my best options to achieve my goals of being able to use solar as to near the of grid as possible, which he has achieved , taking into account my location and footprint I had for solar panel installation. From producing a plan to suit me and my need's to the installation was quick and efficient. David is a professional installer but also a very friendly person to work with. He installed 18x 405 watt pannels, 2x Zappi EV chargers, Eddie and 2x 5kwh batteries in 2 days which was amazing. Although I have had some teething problems, this is nothing to do with the installation but with the EV chargers software and online issues.DSA have been back to resolve these issues without delay. I would recommend DSA to anyone interested in Solar Power or other energy efficiency solutions as they are very competitive price ways. But most of all professional and friendly and definitely a company to trust. Nothing is a problem to David and I wish his every success for the future Paul Donnan
