I have to share the email I was compelled to write to the team after our project ( which they are still coming to check and perfect after the fact). 'I know how hard it is to hire the right people. Sometimes I think it’s 90% of the job. I have to share with you then that your team, from start to finish and across every department, were phenomenal. It was a pleasure becoming a window expert at the drawing stage, and a delight to have your team install. It is no small thing to have the luck of finding a perfect vendor when building a house, and I cannot fault you. ' Brilliant firm. Hard job, specific details. Wonderfully executed. As architects, our design hinged on respectfully modernising a historic family home while preserving its character. The choice of Clement’s approved steel windows was key. The EB20 and W40 ranges allowed us to maintain the home’s original elegance and sightlines, directly supporting the conservation requirements, while significantly enhancing internal daylighting and the overall performance required. We have an Arts and Crafts house which had crittall single glazed windows. So we decided to replace them. After looking at several companies we decided to use Clements. Very easy to deal with Clements windows, well organized and good communication. They are also flexible on survey and fitting dates. We have had over 25 windows and a door and the patio doors. All excellent, a high quality product. Certainly not the cheapest, you get what you pay for. There is not much movement on price, they are not a plastic double glazing company!! Very happy with the glazing schemes and doors at our property. They were installed with great care and the design and fabrication is excellent. They add a great look to an old building and have made it much more functional as a useful space for future use.

I love my new steel doors which make the room much lighter and warmer and encourage the indoor-outdoor link to the garden. Clement were a delight to work with and made everything easy and straightforward. The fitters were super efficient and left the place spotless.
We used Clement to install a number of windows as well as french doors leading on to our garden. From first contact, through initial discussions, detailed design, site visits, delivery and installation, everyone was efficient and polite. Everything went like clockwork. Nothing was too much. Throughout the project, we were kept regularly informed of progress and they actually delivered and completed installation 6 weeks ahead of schedule. We had a minor query after installation which they fixed within 24 hours. What could be better ! True professionalism. We are left with a brilliant product. Highly recommended.
We are delighted with our Clements Conservation rooflights. We have now fitted 10 into our period house renovation and they look great. Quality wise they are solid and well built, no problems with manual winders, and the double glazing sound proofing and heat retention is great. Price wise we searched around and Clements seemed a good price for the quality. Dealing with Clements as a company has been a pleasure, always helpful with sound advice and never a delay in delivery dates.

Not happy with the product. You are told that these are steel frame and you pay the high price for a steel frame but in reality they are polyester coated so you get the pvc look which is not the expected look for something that was meant to be an approved replica of windows in a conservation area. The finishing of the windows and other elements is not high standard - the peg stays are flimsy, the screws used to attach the frames and other elements are mismatched giving a cheap/failed diy look. Not happy with the installation service either.
Clement supplied the steel frame glazed screen and feature window for one of our recent projects. We were very pleased with the quality of the product and service we received from them.
I have just had more Clement windows made and fitted. As with all their products, Clement Windows are fantastic. They are a great company to deal with and all the staff are focused on delivering excellent customer service. The installation team left my flat cleaner than when they started! I cannot recommend Clement more highly.
Excellent! Everyone so helpful from our visit to the showroom, through Design and fitting. Lovely people to work with. Went the extra mile to match the carved design on the frames to the existing woodwork. Even helped find scaffolders. Everything went like clockwork. We are very happy to recommend Clement Windows.
We purchased a Clements roof light. It is great quality and was an easy fit. Also it feels very secure. Chris was very quick in responding and making sure it was sent to us promptly as we were on a time frame.

I have recently used Clement Windows to replace my old Crittall windows and although they were pricy, I am very happy with the result as they are a very good match.
I would highly recommend Clement Windows. We required windows to match existing for our extension and french doors. We were so pleased with the result and service from Clement, we updated the existing single glazed to double glazed. The windows for the extension required new frames, which Clement measured and gave the carpenter details of changes required for a good fit. This allowed the windows to go in seamlessly. The replacement windows needed to go into existing frames, which again, Clement checked and measured, and the result was the crittall frames fitted perfectly. The team are courteous, hard working, tidy and above all great with communication. They keep you informed every step of the way and are prepared to answer any questions you have at any part of the process. If you need steel windows and doors, you can't do better than Clement Windows.

Clement did the steel windows with leaded lights set into oak sub frames for an Arts and Craft house that Pearce Bottomley Architects worked on in Weetwood, Leeds. We built an orangery there as well as the garage and kitchen conversion and Clement replaced the windows throughout the existing house as well as supplying the new fanlights for the orangery. We specify Clements conservation roof lights whenever we can. I am very much of the opinion that they are the best on the market.

We ordered roof lights from Clement for our barn conversion. We used them as they were the most reasonably priced conservation roof lights we could find. The order process was easy and personal, they arrived on time and we absolutely them now they are in. I cannot recommend this company or their products enough.

Thankfully I had not seen the negative reviews on Clement Windows before I decided to place my order as the service from top to bottom has been faultless. These windows are a bespoke product and it shows! I looked at a number of options for our windows and can say that having now had them installed it was definitely the right decision by far to go with Clement. Clement were not the cheapest quote we got but decided to spend that bit extra on the windows and it has paid huge dividends in the look, practicality, design and installation service. The after sales service has also been excellent, we had literally two screws that needed adjusting and a lovey man arrived called Tony after a 4 hour drive from Portsmouth and adjust the key plate. What more could you ask for! This is a family business with those working in it ensuring they deliver 100%. Thank you Clement and thank you to Efka Clement for making the all important installation process totally stress free.
I chose Clement steel windows for their quality and their suitability for our period property. I found Clement easy to deal with and their staff knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Delivery was made on time and now in stalled they look great and work very well. I would have no hesitation in recommending them for similar residential projects.
Like with another review, very mixed feelings No doubt about it these windows are lovely and for the price they cost they should be. However, from my experience I would say try your best to avoid these guys as much as possible. We were pushed in their direction due to the area we live in and although Clements had all the details they required to deliver and install the windows they claimed that they didn't. I can see from other reviews that Clements used the same delay tactics - needing to measure up again, colours missing, extra detail required etc etc. Avoid this company and try to find an alternative to reduce delays, save money and get a better service.
My wife and I are thrilled with our new windows and doors from Clement Windows, they were definitely worth the wait. The quality and finish of the steel is exactly what we were hoping for. We were concerned as some of our windows were unusually shaped, we didn't want to lose their character by replacing them but Clement have managed to duplicate the originals along with an improved glass specification so they are better than ever. There were a few minor snagging issues but the aftersales department sorted them very quickly.
Very mixed feelings about this company. Good points- the windows look lovely and appear to be good quality. The after service team has been good and helped to resolve my issues. The staff members who visited the house were pleasant and interested in doing a good job. Bad points - I was told that the order would take 16 weeks from point of ordering ( and paying the deposit), I heard nothing from the company after 14weeks and when I phoned I was told that they were busy and my order had been pushed back by 5 weeks. As we were having major building work that was being carefully timed, that meant 5 weeks with no secure back to our house. When I complained that I was not informed of any delay, I was told quite bluntly that nothing could be done, they were very busy! The week before installation, someone came to do a site visit, apparently measuring up again( Clement windows measured the original opening and asked for details of floor level at 1st visit). On installation day the doors did not fit. I was told that this was my ( or my builders) fault and I was charged for the day of missed work by the installers. To say that I was surprised and annoyed is an understatement. The person who dealt with residential installation was probably the rudest and most arrogant person I have had the misfortune to deal with in years. Once my builders had altered the hole to fit the windows, the installation went ahead. The beading material used was faulty and looked dreadful, the windows were draughty and some locks had been put on so they locked fully and couldn't be released easily. The team revisited a number of times and eventually all issues were resolved. Would I use this company again? No, lovely windows but the stress of dealing with Clement windows actually made me ill.
We used Clements to replace our Crittal leaded light windows for double glazed units and the job was well handled and the work done very efficiently. The service was really good and I am glad to have chosen Clements rather than some of the others we got quotes from. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others
Window rusted to the point of breaking within warranty period. Clement windows would not honour the warranty.....very poor quality product
This company is quoting me nearly 6 months delivery date from the date of my order, having already taken payment of several hundred pounds for one window. Despite my protests they have made no effort to improve the delivery date.
For a residential project, the service from Clement has been awful. The windows were ordered Easter 2017, with payment up front, and a earliest fitting date in September. Our excellent builders were threatened with a £1000 penalty if they were not ready to receive the Clement team. In the end, multiple panels were incorrectly ordered by Clement, replaced with chip board for a further month. After numerous site visits the snags remain, including an internal heavy glass panel which is not secured to the floor and moves about, in a house with three young children.
I emailed this company providing the measurements required and requesed a quote. This was the email I received. Unfortunately on this occasion we wish to be excused from quoting as this would fall below our £5000 minimum order value. Unbelievable!
