Our old hot water cylinder had started leaking. You were able to get someone to visit the next day to check, and give me a quote by the end of that day. And you were able to get a new cylinder ordered and fitted the next week. Your 2 engineers (Josh and Ben) were very good, and a credit to you as a company. They left everything very neat and tidy, were very considerate about asking things, and very clear at communicating progress. It was great having service from such a professional team.

Came to our aid quickly when our boiler broke down. Very helpful on the phone, talking us through possible quick fixes, and when the engineer came out he was really efficient and a friendly chap. David Lowe has been our plumber for years and just gets on with a job. He has never been beaten by an issue and has also helped with our daughter's heating system in London, advising on radiator size etc. We cannot speak highly enough of him.

The team at David Lowe really saved my bacon right before Christmas! I was putting up some shelves and “discovered” what revealed itself to be a gas pipe hidden in an interior wall! Thankfully, it was only a glancing blow with the drill, but to make sure everything was safe, they quickly arrived, checked it over and gave us the all clear. We really appreciated the quick (sub-2-hour) turnout, especially towards the end of December 23rd!

Central heating failed on the morning of one of the coldest nights of the year. Contacted David Lowe in the morning, engineer visited later that day replaced faulty part, central heating back working before the end of the day. Prompt efficient service.

Gareth did a very thorough job servicing our boiler and a couple of smaller jobs, freeing up a blockage in our underfloor heating and fixing an outdoor tap. Friendly and methodical. He also gave us a couple of useful tips.

Excellent, friendly service, with the work done quickly and at a fair price. Initial inspection was done the same day as my first phone call, which was a surprise after long wait times for other companies.

I was having issues with the boiler in my new home. David Lowe were absolutely fantastic, initially assessing and attempting repair. They were very responsive and were able to book me in very quickly. When it as clear the boiler was not repairable, rather than keep replacing parts (wasting time and money) they advised it be replaced, and provided a clear and detailed quote, including a follow up call to clarify any questions I had. The boiler replacement work was booked in very quickly and completed very professionally. The entire staff team, from their office staff to their engineers, are fantastic - they are both highly professional and personable. Customer support and communication throughout was excellent, and I cannot recommend the David Lowe team highly enough.

Office staff are polite, but operation clearly not up to scratch. "Always arrive on time" is stated on their page. Requested a quote, booked a 2 hour window for them to show up, 3 weeks in advance. Then confirmed by them a week ahead. No show, no warning or notification of lateness. I phone to check whats up, they act like nothing has happened and say he is on his way, zero taking responsibility, zero apology. If you actually have a job and commitments, don't expect these people to respect your time. Even if it involves work for them.

David, Debbie and the team have provided a good service over the last few years with a new boiler and servicing, renovating our bathroom fully and they make every effort to get somebody out as quickly as possible to sort out those minor problems that affect us all.

Bathroom refurbishment Recently had my bathroom refurbished by David Lowe and his great experienced team. What an excellent job there did, just gave them the key and let them get on and do their job. Team very professional and friendly and punctual. Charlie always kept me informed. This is a fantastic family run local business and we highly recommend them. They did a full installation of central heating to our house after initially advising us with the selection to suit our needs. The installation and commissioning was completed around our busy family life in a very unobtrusive, clean and tidy manner. Ongoing they are providing us with annual services on the system and support if we have any issues. They are very responsive, all their staff are polite and they cannot be faulted in our opinion.

Our Economy 7 boiler sprung a small leak a few weeks back. One of David's team popped round and gave advice on how to manage things whilst we waited for a replacement to be delivered and fitted - only a couple of weeks. The new unit was supplied and fitted exactly when they said it would be and David's team did a cracking job. The bill even came in at the lower end of the estimate too. Can't ask for more. Highly reccommended.

The team worked non-stop, kept us up-to-date with what was happening and completed the job pretty much on budget. They also reinstated all the fittings that they had to remove and tidied up at the end of every working day. A definite recommendation.
