We had domestic air conditioning installed by LPS Guiseley. From the initial helpful phone conversation with their office, on-site survey, to the highly competent installation, the entire team provided an agile, seamless, friendly, customer-focused and highly professional service. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them to any potential future customers - this is a team who can be trusted with a complex job of this nature.

From the moment I had my first call with LPS right through to Pat and Harry installing the boiler and radiator. LPS were first class, very easy to deal with and very polite and professional. The workmanship was outstanding, once complete the room was left clean and tidy. I really do recommend anyone looking for a quality service or installation contact LPS. Don't waste your time with the cowboy outfit BOXT or over priced British Gas.

We had a great experience with LPS Guiseley for a new boiler. Staff in the office were great to deal with regarding the quote and organising the boiler installation. The installation was organised very promptly. On the day the two engineers were amazing, removed the old boiler and all packaging from site, and hoovered! the new boiler looks and works great. Very helpful and knowledgable engineers. I would highly recommend.

We couldn't be happier with our brand new bathroom from LPS. It has completely transformed the space, and we are absolutely over the moon with the results. The quality of Craig's work and attention to detail were outstanding from start to finish. Our electrician unfortunately didn't turn up, but Craig went above and beyond to help, arranging for everything to be sorted the very next day so the project could stay on track. Nothing was too much trouble. A huge thank you to Craig and the team at LPS for creating our beautiful new bathroom. To say I’m in love with LPS & the complete in house service they provide, is somewhat of an understatement! I love how I only have to speak to the shop & then I can relax knowing everything will be taken of by someone within the LPS team promptly! Great service from the get go. They arranged for an engineer to come out and provide a quotation. After agreeing, I had Alfie come and install the air con unit less than 2 weeks later. Cannot thank everyone at LPS enough for the great service especially to Alfie! Thank you very much.

I called LPS to fix a fault on my elderly aunts toilet cistern. This job was attended proptly and the job compleated swiftly.. the price was very fair and I would happily recomend in the future

Very expensive and charge £50 for an initial survey only reimbursed if you agree to their fitting of units which are priced at levels way above some of their competitors. Sales staff somewhat complacent and surveyor somewhat indifferent.. Plenty of alternatives in local area displaying higher level of customer service.

We had our chimney swept by LPS Guiseley this afternoon. The engineer was called Riley. He arrived exactly on time, was very careful with all his work and left our room clean and tidy. He talked us through all he had done and left us with useful paperwork. We will definitely keep using them.

Brilliant service - husband in shower at 9 am complaining of lack of hot water, rang up around 9:30 to report the problem and by 9:50 Stuart had been round and fixed it!! Many thanks again LPS.

LPS installed our new boiler in 2018 and serviced it every year. Up until now have always been happy with workmanship although yearly service cost increases were above inflation. Contacted today to arrange boiler service and learned they now use a two tier system whereby if you do not pay in advance the cost is higher(they put spin on things saying a discount is offered for advance payment. I have always paid same day as work completed and object to their new system. Have now found alternative WB approved service agent and saved 25% as well.

Had an emergency lots of heating. They came the same day to fix and ordered the part. Took a few days for the part to arrive and get fitted. A few days later the pressure kept dropping in the central heating. Engineer arrived promptly and examined all the work and did some magic and now all working and not one drop off water leaking and no pressure drop. Now they are first on my list if I have plumbing or central heating issues

Excellent service. My boiler gave up and couldn't be repaired. Less than a week later new boiler installed and all sorted. Fantastic! Thanks to Lisa, Stuart and Riley.

What a fabulous family business. Their knowledge and expertise are second to none and the guys are hard working, polite and really know their stuff. From the first call to the office to the speedy quote and work undertaken they’ve been absolutely great and any hiccups were rectified asap. We relocated a new oil boiler and had a new water cylinder fitted and outside tap installed. Special thanks to Terry and Ben for being absolute legends when we were without heating and hot water when our original oil boiler broke down and for giving us back a cosy, peaceful and efficient home! Highly recommend!!

Delighted with the work from LPS - they carried out an external boiler install and water tank replacement project, as well as sorting out some challenges with our oil supply. In our experience they really put the customer first, whether when talking to the office, during the install and with after care - first class all round. Great team work but credit particularly to Ben and Terry - both very knowledgeable and real problem solvers. Highly recommend.

It's never good news when a boiler breaks down and has to be replaced, but LPS was very supportive through the whole process. From diagnosing the problem, offering advice on options, assisting on the identifying the replacement and payment options, LPS were extremely helpful. On the day of the swap-over the two heating engineers were excellent: on time, did the work efficiently, with no fuss. They gave a really clear briefing on what to do and how to read the boiler once it was fitted and up and running. Very professional, but they were a pleasure to have in the house too. We would fully recommend LPS to anyone.

Commissioning an Air-conditioning product in my conservatory. Firstly I would like ti thank Mr Craig who gave me sound advice on choosing the right product. The installation were done by two outstanding engineers , Ben and Alfie. They performed their task diligently. The area was thoroughly cleaned after completion. Ben explained the functions of the air-conditioning operations. I was reassured that I could contact LPS for any further advice. The electrical connection was done by a different team. He was equally competent. I have started enjoying the conservatory in the winter with an efficient air conditioning unit that gives out warmth and the electricity consumption is low. Joe and Warren were amazing. Joe had assessed my fireplace previously and decided exactly how my new fire would be fitted. My fireplace is the original in an old house . He was very thorough. On Monday the fire was fitted. Joe and Warren were very professional . The fire is perfect and exactly as Joe had described. They cleaned up very well after the fitting. Brilliant service from the LPS team. They dealt with an urgent issue quickly and professionally, which was so important as the customer was in her 80s and had no heating or hot water. Couldn’t fault them — first class throughout.

Only yesterday we had a new boiler fitted by LPS Guiseley. Initial boiler was too big to fit in the area so advice was given to address this and solution found. We found the 2 fitters professional, knowledgeable and supportive. The job took a while but they performed brilliantly with exceptional skill. The guys are definitely a credit to LPS.

Heating went off Sunday evening. Emailed LPS who responded 8am next morning and our engineer arrived 8.30am. Sorted out our problem efficiently with no fuss. Heating on by 9am. Thank you LPS.

We contacted LPS regarding replacing our oil boiler in November. Craig came out to see us the same day, a quote arrived the next day, and a date was set for installation there and then. Ben and Alfie arrived on time on the day and completed the install of the outside boiler , in the dark, in the rain, at 17.45 - excellent. Warren came the following day to lag the new pipes, make good some stone work and generally tidy up. A few days later Terry came to sort out a teething problem with the underfloor heating. Everyone at LPS that we had contact with, whether on the phone , or visiting our home, represented the company in a thoroughly professional and friendly manner - thank you, you were a pleasure to deal with. I gave LPS a difficult task of repairing my 1930 open fire they pulled all the stops getting a new grate and fire brick for the back then did a wonderful job in fitting it after they had finished it looked like new. Thank you all.

Felt I had to write a positive review after the fantastic service we received from Riley and Ben yesterday! We have had real issues with hot water pressure in the house following some building work. A different plumbing firm (who had been involved with the building work) identified an issue with an overflow pipe in the roof but could not work out why the shower water pressure was so poor, and then never returned to complete the job! LPS came and not only fixed the pipe problem in the attic (not a simple fix) but also identified and fixed the water pressure issue. Our showers work properly once more! In addition we always use LPS to service our boiler and gas fire annually, the engineers are very knowledgable and efficient and inspire trust and confidence. Their prices are very competitive, their engineers polite, punctual and arrive when they say they are going to and they are always happy to explain what they are doing and what they have found in investigating any issues. The customer service from the simple website form, to the friendly front desk in the shop and over the phone, to the onsite plumbers can not be faulted.

Amazing service from LPS again. This time from Joe, who serviced our gas fire stove.

LPS installed a multi-room air conditioning system, in our home, and were brilliant, from start to finish. They took their time with us, after initial contact, patiently answering all our queries, for what would be a big job, and visited our home a couple of times, to help confirm the installation location for all the system’s units. The installation was a three-day job and, during the whole process, every one of the engineers and technicians were polite, friendly, and professional. They were respectful of our home, kept disruption and mess to a minimum, and tidied and cleaned as they went along. They made sure the whole system was installed as desired, and checked in with us at each stage. By the end of the three days, you wouldn’t have known that such a large job had taken place. Aftercare has also been very good. They’ve been quick to respond to queries and minor snags, with detailed responses and prompt resolutions. We’ll have no hesitation in using LPS, for future domestic work. They’re fairly priced, and very good at what they do.

We had a log burner fitted earlier this year by LPS.. we only used a few times and we had an issue with the walls to the sides. I enquired if they could give me any advice and they got someone out extremely fast to come and sort. The replaced the side wall Panels and it was done extremely professionally and very clean and tidy. Warren who came out was so lovely and did a great job. Had problems with central heating, the LPS engineer came and fitted new programmer the next day, unfortunately still a problem and advised thermostat was tripping out and would order a new one, in the meantime he sorted it so I could have heating on till it arrived. We have used LPS previously to service a gas fire so when we decided to replace our boiler we chose to use them again. Our experience with the service was very positive and the boiler replacement was equally as positive. From first contact with the showroom/office to book the boiler fitting right through to the installation it has all been excellent. All the team have been professional and friendly. The engineer who came to fit the boiler was very polite, kept all areas tidy while working and left it clean and tidy when the job was finished. Any queries are always answered promptly with the office. We were very impressed with the professional way the whole process had been carried out that when we decided to have solar panels fitted, we chose LPS to install them. Again the way that was undertaken was all excellent. Would happily recommend

We’ve used LPS for a number of jobs since buying our house. They’ve done jobs such as removing water tanks, putting a new one in the cellar, getting rid of pipes and re plumbing to move and install radiators. I have to say that we’ve dealt with a few of their team and each and everyone of them have been so knowledgeable, real hard workers, and extremely conscientious and polite. They clearly pride themselves on the work they do and like keeping their work space (and the client’s home) tidy and clean. I wouldn’t usually go to the effort of writing a review but I have been incredibly impressed with this company and would highly recommend. Our central heating and hot water failed at 10pm last night. I sent a quick email to LPS asking for help - got a response before 8am the following morning and the engineer fixed the problem before lunchtime. Great local service - would recommend.

LPS are superb. The team handled my plumbing query diligently and offered solutions and options. The office (Lisa & Amy) kept me up to date on all that was going to happen and were very courteous, conscientious and very professional. They followed up in a timely manner and confirmed everything back. The engineer attended on the day and time as promised. Riley, the engineer who attended, was very courteous, positive, professional and very skilled at what he did. Riley was able to offer solutions and completed the job to a very high standard. Every aspect of dealing with LPS was superb and I recommend them highly. Thank you.

LPS serviced my Combi boiler today. The price was reasonable and they turned up on time. The engineer found a fault with the boiler. They fixed it and restored the heating system and didn’t charge anything extra on top of the service. I’ll definitely book LPS again.

We’ve just had a new boiler fitted by Ben ! From the word go he was professional and respected our home. We received a message to say he was on his way with a tracking app and a picture of him so we knew who he was . He arrived on time and after introducing himself got straight to work and worked tirelessly until the system was working, cleaning up as he went along, He explained how to operate the new boiler controls and made sure the system was running properly, and that we were happy with everything. He advised us about a suitable service plan that their company operates. Highly Recommended!

Struggled to find a gas fire fitter to buy an online fire and get it fitted. Went to LPS at Guiseley and got the same fire albeit a little more expensive but as they have their own fitters it seemed the best solution. Joe came and assessed the situation and advised on getting a bird cowel fitted. Arranged a date for fitting. Had everything fitted and tested. Really efficient couple of lads, polite and friendly. Really loving the new fire 🔥. Would highly recommend LPS to friends and family.

We found LPS on the Worcester/Bosch website and chose them because they had the best reviews. The reviews are very well deserved and we were impressed by all the team at LPS. They gave us a prompt, knowledgeable and friendly service. LPS communicated well and phoned us twice in response to our emails. Ben came the same day we rang to service our boiler and Craig and Ben helped us to get to the bottom of our lack of hot water, for which we are very grateful. We thoroughly recommend LPS and will be using them again in future.

The Team at LPS were first class. They always turned up on time, kept us informed of delivery dates or any potential issues More importantly, they did not try to "sell" us what they wanted us to have but listened to what we needed and advised. This was a huge job for us, an Air Source Heat Pump, Solar Panels and a new multi fuel stove, so inevitably there was some upheaval. The team kept this to a minimum and worked methodically and cleanly. We were dealing with 1 Firm and 1 overall Manager, Craig. I would recommend them to anyone.

LPS recently carried out a boiler service and chimney sweep at my property, from start to finish everything was carried out to the highest standard. The lads from LPS, Pat and Harvey arrived on time and carried out both services leaving no mess and were both very polite. I would highly recommend LPS to anyone, and I will use them again in the future.

LPS came out to repair my poorly-maintained (my fault not theirs) boiler at short notice. In the end I decided to install a new boiler rather than patch up one that was clearly in very poor condition. Everyone I dealt with at LPS, from Amy who works in the office, the two pairs of engineers to the chap who came round a week later to check we were happy with everything, was helpful, prompt and polite. The new boiler works very well and I was pleased with the service end-to-end. I shall definitely be using LPS for my annual service in future. [Edit] Since I wrote the review above, LPS has serviced my boiler twice. I continue to be wholly satisfied with the service.

I cannot recommend LPS enough. Their service was outstanding throughout; from the enquiry, to booking and the visit. I placed an online enquiry on a Friday evening, I had a reply on Monday morning, and the visit booked for Tuesday. After we have been let down by a couple of other engineers and been without hot water for 3 weeks, it was such a relief to receive reliable service from LPS and have the boiler fixed. Terry was very knowledgeable, therefore we took the opportunity of enquiring about changing our heating system after he fixed our boiler. He provided very comprehensive advice about the different types suitable for our property, and we received a detailed quote the following day. When the time comes for us to make the change, we will be looking no further, as LPS have earned our trust.

Moved to LPS after previous service company Help-Link were swallowed by a larger company. Have the boiler serviced every year and the engineers always send a text to say they will be with you in about 15 minutes. Had a kitchen tap fitted by LPS in March 2021 that started leaking this month July 2024. Visited their office in Guiseley and spoke to the owner Mr Leak who arranged for one of their engineers Stuart Payne to visit and see if he could repair it. Stuart came with 5 minutes of me receiving a text from LPS and within a short time was able to effect a repair. Would highly recommend LPS for plumbing and central heating services. It is easy to book appointments for servicing of the central heating either by phone or in person at their office in Guiseley. The engineers turn up on time, are always pleasant to deal.

LPS have been amazing start to finish, I rang as we had an issue with our boiler the lady on the phone was super helpful and they had availability to get us in the next day. Stuart came and repaired the boiler and was so kind & helpful and helped me understand the issues and put my mind at ease.

Rang this morning to check if my very elderly next door neighbour had been in touch regarding his faulty gas fire; I was concerned as it’s the only heat source he has and I’d given him the number for LPS yesterday. Amy could not have been more helpful, she quickly checked and was able to inform me that an engineer had been booked for tomorrow morning. LPA we’re recommended and their house visit and quote arrived in days. Price was the best of three and work was undertaken within a week. Arrived all floors were protected, work completed without fuss well within the day. Received a full and friendly explanation of how to operate system and all left very clean and tidy. Efficient, nice people to deal with and received all paperwork by email the same day.Highly recommended

We just had multiple aircon units installed at home. Work done to a very high standard with attention to detail. Praise to the father and son who installed the new boiler. From professional but friendly demeanour, to excellent pipe work plumbing and A* workmanship cannot praise them enough. I had full gas central heating installed in my house and I am very pleased with the finished work and service I received from LPS. Terry visited my house to provide the quotation; he was very polite, wore shoe coverings and fully answered all the questions I had. His quotation was reasonable and similar to what I had expected. After I had signed the T&C's and paid the deposit, the installation was quickly arranged with Ben. Ben too was very polite, helpful and was able to complete the work in just over two days keeping me regularly updated by telephone. I highly recommend using LPS for boiler and GCH installations.

We contacted LPS after our boiler was condemned by another local firm. The engineer (Stuart) came within the hour. He was professional, polite and reassuring. After completing numerous tests, he reassured us that the boiler was safe to use. Within minutes we received a call informing us that a quotation for the repair had been sent to us. We accepted the very reasonable quote and the repair is booked in for tomorrow. We completely trusted what the other firm had told us and would have gone ahead with replacing the boiler if LPS hadn’t provided such an amazing service. Thank you to all the staff at LPS. We could not recommend this company highly enough, and will definitely continue to use LPS in the future.

I don’t usually write a review but this service has been brilliant. A problem Saturday and we had a plumber out by 12.30 who reassured us our boiler was ok till he could get a spare part. This was followed up Monday by an email a text and phone call that the part was available and could be fitted that day. Was finding it really difficult to heat a converted coach house with electric panel heaters costing a fortune to run. Contacted LPS who came out to look within days. They installed a Bosch air to air heat pump/ air conditioning unit the following week and it has totally transformed the building from a cold damp space into a cosy home - even with this week’s nighttime temperatures of -5 degrees. Once up to temperature (this takes a day or two) the heat pump pushes hot air into the large open plan living space, and even up the stairs to the bedroom, for about a quarter of the cost of a single panel heater. Installation was neat, advice was spot on and I was consulted at every stage about where to site the unit etc. Would highly recommend LPS!

I have a boiler which isnt easy to support and a set of old radiators which break once a year but LPS are always on hand to help as fast as they can, even providing support over the phone when a call out isnt needed to allow me to fix it myself. Its sad I have to write this review as prior I had nothing but high praise for LPS as even though we wernt a direct customer through them they had always tried to resolve our issues and did so whenever there was a problem since I first contacted them in 2021 when we struggled to find anyone to look at our gas fire. We had used LPS ever since and we had no issues prior and had used them on numorous occasions including multiple services however through no fault of our own another issue with our gas fire has come up and now it seems like they have washed their hands with us which is really disappointing and it feels like I am back to square one. They contacted me advising their engineer is refusing to look at our issue and wont be coming out to diagnose which unfortunately started occuring now after a service we did in May and this only had about a week of use before the warmer weather hit. Prior to this the gas fire was solid and was used throughout Autumn 2022 until May 2023 when the service was due with no issues. They did explain they didnt want to waste our money or time however what is the alternative for us? Winter is on the horizon and we have no central heating. We now have to painstakingly find another engineer who has knowledge of this specific gas fire which we would have to put money into anyway. The way they washed their hands of this does leave a bitter taste as I thought I was a good customer. I always paid invoices on time and was respectful whenever I contacted them. Again, highly disappointed at how this has turned out. Edit 14/10/2023 I thought LPS would have taken this seriously seen as how they have left me high and dry but its not the case, it seems like they don’t care at all and anyone reading this please keep my review in mind before dealing with them. The engineer that came on Thursday had zero clue on what he was doing and he even had to ask my dad how to turn it on! It was working here and there before however he was messing around in the gas fire moving things about and now it completely does not work so not only have LPS left my property without dealing with the problem I’m left with a gas fire that does not work at all now! The service that was done with them this year in May 2023 is supposed to have a service guaranteed for one year as confirmed by their website and this was working perfectly fine prior so for them to leave it like this with a faulty gas fire and refusal to deal with us anymore is bad practise and gives you a terrible reputation. I don’t want any customer to go through this experience. Update 16/10/2023 I had a service and paid £120 in May. Why wasn’t this rejected if you didn’t want to deal with us anymore. And the company is acting like we begged for the work for free. All this was paid for. Of course I didn’t say anything as what I heard on the phone was the complete opposite of what I was expecting, how would you react if a company refused to attend after dealing with us and providing great service to completely leaving us in the mud. I wont be changing my review or rating either, I believe other customers need to see this is how you deal with paying customers especially when I have had three services and paid for multiple repairs. None of the calls out were the company doing me a favour as they got their money.

Called LPS this morning in a panic, woke up to a leaking pipe that resulted in water heavily dripping through the downstairs ceiling. They couldn't have been more responsive and accommodating! Great service, Terry was dispatched to the property within 30 minutes of the initial call, he identified and fixed the issue promptly. Aside from the expertise, the system they use to inform you where the engineer is and to track progress feels like UBER! I have used various plumbing services over the years, LPS are without a doubt the most professional i have ever used! I would highly recommend them!

Had my central heating/boiler installed by LPS and used them for boiler service since. Always helpful and efficient but today went the extra mile to help with gas fire removal and getting gas back on. Efficient, friendly and reasonably priced. Highly recommended. A+++

We recently had a new Greenstar 8000 Life 35kW Combi installed by LPS and can't fault them in any way. From initial quote (competitive) to site visit and install they were great and any queries I had were dealt with quickly and efficiently - having to replace a boiler is costly and can be a real pain but everything was straightforward, hassle free and they did an excellent job and best of all the new boiler has cut our gas bill massively to the point that EDF queried my reading !

I struggled to find an engineer to help fix a leak within my oil fired boiler. I then contacted LPS and their customer service was excellent. Liaised with Amy and she was extremely helpful and managed to get someone out within a couple of hours. There was regular communication via text and email to let me know when the engineer was coming out. The engineers were friendly and notified me 30 mins before they were due to arrive. I wish all companies operated with this standard of service. I will now use LPS to service my boiler moving forward. Highly recommend!

LPS installed our boiler in 2010 and since then we have used them for yearly services , emergency repairs and other works. They have always been quick to respond and their work is always of excellent quality. I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends or family.

I rang LPS at 840am this morning (20th Feb 2023)as my boiler had go on the blink, at 9.32 am (same day)the engineer had finished a minor repair and a full service. Now that's what I call service.

Left a little disappointed with LPS, having had radiator replacement work, after the engineer I had left had no hot water due to the boiler not being pressurized and had to do it myself. Then a few days later no hot water in another radiator LPS returned and replaced the valves which were working fine before they came, unfortunately the engineer unbeknown to me accidently left a bleed valve slightly open in my lounge which was leaking for six hours before I discovered it leaving my carpet saturated had to get a carpet cleaner. So just some carelessness from the engineers left me very frustrated,. I was going to be using them for my annual boiler servicing not so sure now.

From the point I made my initial enquiry, the level of service was first class, alongside that the levels of communication were the best we've ever experienced with any business. And before anyone suggests I'm connected or related to this business? I am not, they just did a great job, and offer a great service. Simple!

Late on Friday night our combi boiler stopped producing hot water and we feared we would not be able to get it repaired until after the weekend. We rang LPS on Saturday morning and were told that an engineer would be able to visit within a couple of hours and that he would also be able to carry out the annual service at the same time (it was due later in the month). By 1:00pm our hot water was restored and the only additional cost to us, beyond the cost of the annual service, was for a relatively inexpensive spare part. An excellent customer experience, both on the phone and from the engineer.

I've used LPS consistently over the last 5 years and their service is brilliant. I've slowly replaced all the radiators in our house and recently replaced the boiler with them. They are great at quoting, communicating and turning up to do the work. Once or twice they've had to come back to rectify little issues but their so reliable that it's never been a problem. I can't recommend them enough.

I'm afraid, like someone else who posted on here, that I felt that the customer came last. The gas fire fitter was great but liaison with the shop staff needed improvement.

I desperately required a gas fire safety checking, servicing and re-certifying due to new home owners moving in just a week later. LPS were fantastic. No nonsense and straight out first thing on a Saturday morning. Gas fire is now clean, serviced and working properly....more importantly it is safe to use for the new occupiers of the property and has given peace of mind. Thank you LPS! I'll be calling again...

LPS have serviced our gas boiler and fire for several years, and recently installed a new boiler. The engineers are always polite, friendly, explain clearly what (if anything) needs doing, and always leave everything clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

Our boiler died so no heating or hot water. LPS answered the phone in one ring, took payment for a call out and had someone out in 15 mins. He found the problem right away and popped out for the part. All fitted and back to normal in less than an hour of it breaking. The only downside is now have no excuse not to do the washing up. (And the bill) But super service from LPS

They get the job done but in my experience they overcharge. There was no mention of the callout fee when asking them to come look at a small job.

First class experience from beginning to end...from site survey/quote to installation and handover/commissioning, (not forgetting the girls in the office). I have been a customer of lps for almost 5 years during which time, including the most recent work in June 2022, they have carried out a variety of work for me. The service provided and the standard of workmanship has at all times been excellent. I have at all times thought that I have had value for money in engaging lps to undertake such works as have been necessary.

Very impressed with LPS team. They arrive on time, are polite and always do a good job. So we use them again and again. Had a boiler replaced and showers updated. They do consistently good work, and if there is a problem, fix it.

Great service and reliable

I used LPS to measure and install some radiators in a new home. They were very prompt to come out and understood the urgency to get my heating and water back on. The lads who have attended have all been courteous, punctual and did a great job as well as tidying up. The back office is staffed meaning that quotes and queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. I didn't get quotes from other companies and used LPS based on a recommendation so I am not sure how they compare cost -wise but they have given me no reason to check and will happily use them again and recommend to friends.

LPS are the first people that we contact when we need any plumbing work doing, we usually don't bother asking anyone else to quote. They are always very efficient, turn up when they say they will, and always do a good job at a reasonable price. We have used them on different occasions for fitting a new boiler, fitting new radiators, and connecting water and gas to a new kitchen that was installed in a new extension. All in all they are very pleasant to deal with and I would highly recommend them.

LPS have been brilliant sorting all my issues out in the house I have just moved into. Servicing and making good my Oil boiler which had not been maintained for years. Installing a new cold water pump as we are not on mains water and transferring the water system to pressurised so we can get rid of water pumps for showers and have fast running water. Brendan and Jamie the engineers we so professional, always on time and nothing was too much trouble. A big thanks to Craig and Terry for all their advise as well.

We've had a central heating maintenance contract with LPS for several years, and have always received prompt, efficient service. Yesterday I phoned about an unrelated problem with the waste water pipe from the kitchen sink on the off chance that they could help - after less than half an hour Ben and his mate were here, and fixed the issue within minutes. Many thanks to all.

LPS were not the company for me and according to them I wasn’t a good customer for them either. The payment process for fireplaces includes a £50 survey visit (non-refundable if you do not place an order), upfront payment of the fireplace (which they would not allow me to pay in full by credit card) all of which I paid before discovering weeks later that they also required full installation payment before fitment. Following my initial payment (of over 70% of the overall cost) I received no paperwork to confirm details of my order, despite them having all of my contact details. When I later refused to pay the upfront installation costs, advising LPS that I would settle the balance of the bill on completion of the work before their engineer departed (which I felt was reasonable), LPS cancelled my order, placing my project weeks behind schedule. The main issue for me was the complete lack of customer protection for the upfront costs requested (i.e. no credit card payment or paperwork). I would point out that I did later receive a full refund from LPS, but overall I thought that they were a difficult company to deal with, with everything set up in their favour (at no point did I feel like a valued customer).

Brilliant fast service. Emailed them at 8pm about a boiler problem, engineer arrived vetoer 9 the next morning, sorted in an hour.

Thank you for responding so promptly to my phone message on Sunday. I thought I was leaving a message to be answered on Monday, because it was only a slow leak, maybe one ml per hour. But the lady replied within an hour or so! And the engineer turned up first thing on Monday! Excellent service. Replacing the manifold has also stopped all the water hammer noise, so that's a bonus.

LPS came to the rescue when our boiler died. When other local heating engineers (including one who serviced the old boiler) didn’t fancy the job due to the location, LPS approached the challenge head on and came up with a solution. I contacted LPS about a new boiler a year ago, had a friendly and informative service from the office. The plumbers that fitted it were great, clean, tidy and did their upmost to make their presence as unintrusive as possible. Arrived to do quote for boiler as arranged, good price, deposit paid and installed following week. I called my bank and was told 7 day notice to transfer from savings, i hadn't realised it would take that long. I called to imform Lps and say i would pay it in 7 days in full, and would that be ok. The woman on the phone was very rude saying "well it will have to be, we have already waited a week, we already had to pay for it" the tone and way she said it was horrible. As soon as i hung up i called my bank and paid a charge for immidiate transfere and paid it. I try to use local buisnesses were possible, but will not use them again

I have been let down twice by this company within 4 months. They said they would do a job and cancelled without my knowledge - I had taken the day off so I could be at home. Inexcusable behaviour. It goes without saying I shall never use this service again and I will ensure my friends and family don't make the same mistake as I did.
