Excellent service from the inital assessment, explanation, decision making, through to the installation. No pressure sales tacitcs. Independant business that deals with the whole process, with no sub contractors as far as i'm aware. I'm sure they'll be avaialbe for any ongoing support. Highly recommended

This was our second solar install with Ask Renewables. Once again they've been absolutely excellent. We chose them as they did a really careful on site survey with Matt, who took exceptional care to review the location, decide on the best solution, and present us with the right options. We ended up with a very smart Hanchu solar/battery/gateway system. The office team of Karyn and Samantha managed all the essential paperwork really efficiently and were super-quick to answer questions. The install team turned up on time and did a perfect job, with a quick and tidy fit. Even the scaffolding firm they use round us were really nice guys. Ed managed the install from the office and kept us informed throughout. Highly recommend this firm.

From the start of our experience with ASK, staff made the process from enquiry to installation really easy. They were always on hand to answer any questions and able to explain the various technical processes in an understandable way. We are really happy with the system we've had installed which fits our needs perfectly and the ongoing customer service post-installation is second to none.

Extremely rude receptionist i suggest the company hire someone with manners, she decided to huff and snigger down the phone to me when i tried to explain why i was calling, when i pulled her up on it all of a sudden she decided to be polite and nice its not hard to have some manners and be nice to people but your employee over the phone clearly struggles with it maybe she should learn some manner next time around. I contacted Ask Renewables after being recommended by my friend who had also had Ask to fit their panels. I was already in the process of buying batteries from another supplier but I am so glad that I swapped to Ask. Tom from Ask came around and discussed my requirements, and it was quickly obvious that the other company were overcharging for what I needed. I should say that English is not my first language so it was great that Tom was able to talk me through the process and clearly describe what I needed and what would happen. We placed our order, and the installation team from Ask was brilliant, but that isn't where things ended. Tom and Samantha supported me through the process of getting set up with Octopus and switching over from my previous supplier so that I got the best from my system. It has been running now for several months and Tom and Samantha are always on hand if I have any questions. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I was unable to find a local plumber to service my solar thermal panels. I found ASKrenewables on Checkatrade and they have been excellent from start to finish. Adam, the owner, answered all my initial questions and was clear about the costs. Claire efficiently arranged for the plumber to visit. Danny carried out the service and replaced the parts needed in the most cost effective way. I would definitely recommend them and use them again myself.

Ask installed our solar panels and batteries a year ago. We were very happy with their speed, efficiency and the quality of work. Since installing they have continued to support us, ensuring we are making the most of the system and changes to electricity tariffs. I couldn't be happier with every aspect of the service and I would recommend the company to anyone wanting solar panels.

We decided to explore the world of all thing solar a couple of years ago having just bought our first EV. Finding an installer proved to be a challenge so we decided to put the whole project on the back burner. Recently we became aware that a close friend had had quite an extensive system installed by ASK Renewables so we decided to approach them for a quotation. The whole experience from first contact to installation was first rate. The surveyor explained everything in detail, in simple layman’s terms; the resultant quotation was very detailed showing equipment to be installed and projected payback period. The three man installation team arrived on time and got straight to work. The whole installation of 14 panels, Inverter, two batteries, ancillary equipment and associated cabling took just four hours. Before we knew it the system was connected to our home WIFI and as quick as that we were up and running. The inverter and batteries are installed in the loft area which is not used as habitable space with isolation switches and import/export meter mounted on the wall of the loft stairs the over side of the wall from the inverter making the whole installation extremely neat and tidy . We think the team did a brilliant job and they obviously took pride in their workmanship. Before leaving the electrician showed us how to operate/monitor the system using the LUX app. We are now benefitting from reduced bills and solar energy meeting our normal daily consumption on most days. Would I highly recommend ASK Renewables.

I obtained several quotes for a Solar PV System, however Ask Renewables was one of the few that actually wanted to come out and do a site visit. Their surveyor Matt visited and discussed at length my options and the costings involved, he then went away and produced some full written proposals for me to decide on. These were left with me, with no pressure to buy etc. having compared the quotes and services provided, I had no hesitation in opting for Ask Renewables, their service was far superior and the quote very reasonable. The process of getting National Grid approval etc was then completed and a fitting date agreed. On the fitting day the team of two arrived and efficiently set about the process of installing the system, both were efficient and friendly. Within 5 or 6 hours the system was fully installed and fully working. Within a few days the commissioning pack and certificates arrived. Ask Renewables were professional throughout and gave a service second to none and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Just had an additional battery fitted by Ask Renewables, who installed our original system. Absolutely top service from Sam and in particular Ed, who went above and beyond fitting the battery. Nothing is too much trouble and Ed checked in the day after to ensure everything was running smoothly. Brilliant service, which is a rarity these days. If you're considering installing Solar and batteries, don't look any further. Ask renewables will look after you at every stage including aftercare and updates, which is really important. A top company and even better people. Highly recommended.

I had 13 solar panels fitted and a 9.6kWh battery. Ask Renewables were competitive on price and every aspect of their customer service was superb, whether pre-installation, the actual installation or post-installation. Everything was done to budget and on time or sooner. Any time I have had cause to contact them since installation their response has been immediate and has solved my query or problem. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I contacted Ask Renewables for a quotation for solar panels, plus battery storage because of its "Which? Trusted Traders" status. I wasn't disappointed. Every aspect of the service provided was top class: initial email/telephone communication; quality of advice during the initial survey; follow-up communication; efficiency of installation (10 panels plus battery storage all in one day); after-sales support (I had a few technical questions about the app). I was so impressed with my initial contact, survey and quote that I didn't even bother to get a quotation from another company. 8 months on I'm really happy with the installation. There have been no problems and I'm saving a significant amount of money in terms of electricity costs. I wish I'd done it years ago. I've arranged for additional battery storage to be added later this month so that my savings will be even greater this year. TIP: Pay extra for micro-inverters and go for the maximum battery storage.

We have had our solar PV system for nearly a month now and it is great. From start to finish ASK renewables were professional and courteous. The installers were polite, quick and exceptionally tidy with the installation. We have already started to save money!

Ask Renewables was recommended by my brother who recently had a Solar system installed by them. Tom came round to do a survey and subsequently provided me a quote. Absolutely no pressure selling and I considered the price good value. On acceptance of the quote the office called to arrange a suitable installation date. Scaffolding was delivered a couple of days in advance to allow my builder to move some bathroom extraction vents from the roof. Installation was smooth and the electrician was very accommodating by taking time to route solar panel cables via a void in the house wall. Karyn and Samantha, in the office, were very quick and helpful processing the relevant documents. I am over the moon with the installation. 6kW panels and 12kWh battery storage. Even in December with low sun, the panels can generate well beyond 3kW. Batteries can also be fully charged using the cheaper Octopus Flux night-time rate. Then I use the batteries to hel power the house through the day. I highly recommend Ask Renewables. A great company to do business with.

ASK fitted a 14 panel/4 battery system to our house. I was impressed with the consultation we had from them - they worked out a number of options and gave us all the figures to make up our own minds, without any hard sell tactics. Communication about the process was good, especially when there were delays due to the national grid. When the day came for installation, the team were professional and got it all done that day. We were given a tutorial in how to use the app that comes with the system, and we've had several calls since then checking everything works and that we're making the most of the tariffs on offer Despite it being the winter months we're already seeing a significant saving on our electric bills, and come the spring I think we'll be exporting more than we use. I've recommended Ask to friends and family, and would have no hesitation in using them again (although given the 25 year life of the panels, that may not be for some time!)

Great service from start to finish. No pressure to sell during the consultation to discuss my needs and once the DLO got around to approving my installation (no fault of Ask Renewables) the system was fitted quickly and efficiently by a great bunch of lads. The installation work took a matter of hours and the communications were good throughout. The system has worked a treat since installation and support is always available in the event of any issues (of which there have been none so far), Would recommend to anyone looking for a solar/battery installation.

ASK Renewables provided a top-class service from initial survey to installation. During the survey Matt was helpful and informative with no sense that he was pushing to sell. Through ongoing discussions we arrived at a system specification which I believe now to be just right. The installation team of three arrived early around 7.35, worked quickly and efficiently to install 12 panels and 2 batteries, and so were complete around 1pm. We were impressed with how quickly everything was done, and the guys were pleasant, helpful and courteous. Admin support from Samantha in the office has been excellent throughout as well. Overall, it's hard to fault the service from ASK – I would wholeheartedly recommend them. Well done all round!

Brilliant service from start to finish. Matt visited, carefully measured, looked at everything and produced the best quote. First impressions when Matt came out to survey were very positive and much better than other companies who came out. I got 3 quotes from different companies and nothing wrong with any of them, just felt happier with Ask overall. Once I decided to choose them to do my solar panels and battery install, I was informed every step of the way so that this went smoothly. The installers and roofing team were great as well, just nice people and professional work standards and a job well done. All paperwork was provided to ensure I have everything I need. The install was only done in June 2023 and I've had no problems, but I've spoken to or emailed the team on several occasions and got a prompt response to answer any questions. Excellent experience from the Salesperson to the fitters. Very Prompt and very efficient. The system is great, The app is easy and informative. I've rung them with questions since my install and the answers are detailed, knowledgable and in straightforward language (no engineery science speech)

Just had solar installed by ASK. Brilliant experience from day 1. Enquired online an then had a call from Tom who arranged to come and do a much more detailed survey than the other companies I had to quote. Great report and no pressure to buy at all. When we decided to go ahead the communication from the office staff was great. Then had a call from Ed just before installation to suggest a slight change as he thought it would be better for us (and was cheaper). Then came the day of installation. 3 guys (apologies can't remember their names) 2 roofers and an electrician. All incredibly polite, pleasant, explained what they were doing. Extremely tidy and neat work, I had no clearing up afterwards. Since then had communication with Samantha and Tony in the office. Again both incredibly friendly and helpful. Tony helped me through what I needed to know and now booked in an hour with him to go through making the most of the app. I can honestly not praise this company enough and would recommend to anyone. I'm very pleased with both the Solar PV system and the service. Right from the start they were friendly and informative. Matt from Ask Renewables came out to talk about the product and do a thorough in-person assessment of our house (other companies I contacted only used Google Earth to provide an assessment). Matt was very accommodating and responsive to all the questions and issues I raised, with no pressure at all to push to a sale. The fitting team were also quick and tidy. I've also received friendly follow-up calls to check that everything is running smoothly from a personal point of view, as well as checking the functioning of the system online. Overall a 5 star experience!

Having had 3 quotes already, I chose ASK because: 1. They sent a Surveyor, not a Salesman. This allowed an innovative solution to my roof I had not previously considered. 2. They've been in business for over 10 years. If you check on Companies House, this is uncommon with the recent boom in 'solar experts', giving confidence that ASK really are solar experts. 3. They quoted for a modest amount of hardware - some firms were quoting 1.5x the equipment, whereas ASK worked with me to optimise my investment. The installation was completed within 2 weeks of order, I am very pleased with the solution and the aftersales support has been impressive. Highly recommended.

We have just had our solar and battery system installed by Ask Renewables. Prior to ordering our system we had several quotes from other companies, it got very confusing, I was told different information on what the best array configuration and system would be best for our property from each company. I then came across Ask they seemed to have very good reviews so requested a quote, what a breath of fresh air, Matt came out for the initial survey then went away to work out the best system for our needs and budget. I am so glad I accepted the quote and used Ask to fit my solar system they have been fantastic from start to finish. The price was reasonable with no pressure to buy, all my questions were answered promptly and professionally and the system they designed for me just made sense compared to some of the other advice I had been given, there is definitely a lot of cowboys jumping onto the solar bandwagon. The system was installed on the date I was given by Dino and his team who were polite, friendly and worked hard and finished the Job within the day Brilliant service !! I was then showed how to work the app, they didn't leave until they were sure everything was up and running smoothly. I would have no hesitation recommending Ask to anybody thinking of a solar system, I am highly delighted with the service they have provided five stars from me Thank you to Matt, Sam, and Dino and everyone involved I'll be in touch when I'm ready to upgrade my battery to a larger capacity.

We had a really good experience with this company after a long and drawn out process of trying to find a decent company to install a solar PV and battery system. We had a number of false starts and bad experiences with other companies and almost gave up entirely until we came across ASK Renewables on Which? Trusted Traders. There are a lot of dodgy pop-up companies in this space who employ (probably) ex-double glazing salesmen who will just lie to you to get a sale (don't trust any company that advertises on Facebook!), but ASK were a breath of fresh air - totally honest at every stage and very, very thorough. The quote was also extremely competetive. I wouldn't hestitate in recommending this company to anyone considering having a solar PV system installed.

Ask Renewables Ltd installed our solar panel system last month. Ed our designer was very thorough and excellent at answering all my technical questions. A neat and tidy, very professional job from the fitters and electrician. A couple of teething problems swiftly sorted meant we have been enjoying the benefits of reducing our dependance on electricity in these turbulent energy times. Just had solar panels fitted. Cannot recommend ASK highly enough. From Samantha and Tony, agents in the office to the lads Mark, Rob and Neil who did the installation, it all went to plan. I had solar panels installed, I was taken through the whole process step by step from sales to installation to after sales by really good, honest and knowledgeable people. The installation day was great, they turned up when they said they would and left sooner even than they had predicted. The only evidence that they had even been there was the equipment installed. Lovely, tidy job which I am over the moon with. I would sincerely recommend ASK Renewables to anybody looking to install solar.

Do not use....nothing but problems from damaging my roof to leave my house with dangerous electrics exposing my children!!! Then when you attempt to get it rectified you are either spoken to in a rude unprofessional manor or just ignored. Looks like I have no choice but to know get legal representation. Disgusting
