Called Lakeland Gas about a fault code on my combi boiler. Mark came out the same day to attempt a repair but found a new part was needed. This was sourced and fitted a couple of days later and now the boiler is working again. Great experience from this company, was kept informed by text messages as to progress and appointments. Lakeland Gas is amazing. I first used Lakeland Gas over a year ago. Lee came to assess the house to install LPG valves after our supplier informed us that the vessel for gas supply was obsolete. Lee came when promised, and fitted the required pipework for us to install cylinders. He also performed a service on our boiler. All work was done cleanly and efficiently. We contacted Lee to organise our service for this year which was completed yesterday by Paul. He was very efficient and did a super job. 👌 This company is great. Answers calls promptly, sends appointment reminders and inform you what time they will arrive on the day. Customer service of a standard not often found in this day and age. Would recommend them to anyone. Additional post: 23 October 2025 My boiler needed repressuring and my husband is no longer able to do this. I was really worried about trying it myself so I called Lee. He sent me a message telling me he would come the following morning. He arrived early after another message to say he was close and filled the boiler. He marked the correct tap with tape and gave instructions on what to do next time. We have used Lakeland Gas for well over 10 years. In addition to replacing boilers and servicing, they have also replaced radiators and removed gas fire pipe work and other gas related jobs. Having used Lakeland Gas for a number of years for boiler service/repair we decided it was time to replace the existing boiler and radiators with a new system. We asked Lee to give us some advice and his breadth of knowledge and expertise can only be described as exceptional. The quote that we were given was very reasonable. From start to finish the job Lee and his team undertook was very professional and efficient, taking only 4 days to complete, this included having to relocate the boiler. The lads that came to do the job were very hard working and experienced at what they do and left no mess. We would highly recommend Lakeland Gas to anyone looking to get any work done. Many thanks to Lakeland gas who very efficiently booked us in their diary for a boiler service and gas safety certificate . Even though the date had to be changed they managed to help us swiftly accomode this by a few emails sent back and forth without a delay. Many thanks to the admin lady. On the day Mark was great and swiftly got on with the job inhand and advised us about a small problem with our flue which again was quickly dealt with. A friendly and courteous team would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Thanks again.

Following my 2nd occasion to request Lakeland Gas to carry out the Annual Service of my BAXI Combi Boiler, I have the following feedback. From my initial phone enquiry to arrange a mutually convenient date through to Mark carrying out the service, I received routine communication detailing the service i could expect from Lakeland Gas. I was messaged on the day of service to confirm Mark would be with me in 7 minutes and he duly arrived on time. Mark was courteous and confirmed the work he would carry out on my boiler. On completion of the service, Mark confirmed the arrangements for issue of the service report and associated invoice electronically. In summary, I would definitely recommend Lakeland Gas to my family and friends.

Tyler was here on time to install the kitchen radiator.when unpacking he saw it had been damaged and immediately organised a new one that was fitted on the same day.he was very professional both in himself and his work.i would definitely recommend to Lakeland gas and Tyler to other people.

I have used the services of Lakeland Gas since I moved back to Cumbria in April 2021. I have always been treated with professionalism and courtesy. After installing a new boiler (LPG) for me in July 2023, I have used Lakeland Gas for annual servicing. This year, on the same day as I sent in a request for the annual service, I was contacted that afternoon by Karen to say that, due a cancellation, fitter Mark, was available to carry out the service, if this was convenient which it was. Mark came, carried out the boiler service in a quiet and tidy manner and also sorted out an upstairs radiator for me which need the valve cleaning. Lakeland Gas have carried out the annual service for the Vaillant gas boiler since its installation by them in 2019, together more recently, with a gas fire service. Each year, they've sent a reminder & always turned up for the agreed appointment. This year, Mark offered to liaise directly with Vaillant to ensure that replacement of the faulty door cover was included under the guarantee, something which Vaillant had originally rejected. Vaillant arranged for an engineer visit within a few days of Mark's intervention, for which we are very grateful. Companies rarely seem to meet even basic levels of customer service these days, so well done Lakeland staff, for going the extra mile.

Exceptional service. Always get our boiler serviced by Lakeland gas every 12 months who are the most competitively priced, but don't cut back on the service. Had an issue with my central heating last month and emailed Lakeland gas in the morning and someone round to fix it by mid afternoon. Very informative and friendly engineer informing of what's broken and what's been replaced. 100% recommend Lakeland gas and would never consider using anyone else for servicing or repairs. Paul came out within the day after my first contact, diagnosed the problem with the condensate pump (which wasn’t repairable), explained everything, gave me a temporary work-around so that I could still use heating etc, ordered a new pump and came back to fit it the following week. He added a routine boiler service for a very modest sum. Everything was very professional, and I particularly appreciated the accurate estimates of time. Will definitely use again.

Our boiler stopped working. 2 days later we got it going but after 3 days it stopped again and we had a very cold weekend. By the time Paul came it was working again. Paul did his best, he checked it thoroughly for us, could not find a fault and now🤞we are hoping we will not have a problem later. Another visit from Paul, no problems this time it was for the gas check. He is always friendly and efficient.

Love how efficient it is to book an appointment by completing an online form. Within 24hrs we had an appointment booked in giving us a 4hr time frame and getting a text when the technician was 10 minutes away. Paul was very quick to find the issue and talked us through this and gave us a price for the required part. He also serviced the boiler while here and was back to fix the issue within a week once the part arrived. Would definitely recommend and won't go anywhere else now. I have dealt with Lakeland gas for a few years now in two of my houses. I have always felt comfortable with all the staff and they have been brilliant at sorting two very different complicated underfloor heating systems. They are always on time and like I say have good staff who put the time me in to sort out problems and solve them. Extremely glad I have Lakeland gas at my property. Lakeland Gas Installed my Vaillant C/H Boiler in October 2023. They did a superb quality job and they have Serviced the unit annually since then. I recently had a problem and I sought guidance from Lakeland Gas. One of their Engineers, Mark, came to my home within a couple of hours and rapidly resolved the problem. Had a Boiler issue at My Holiday Home Contacted them on the Monday arranged with them to come out on the Thursday morning which I thought was excellent service. Had to Drive the 2 hours down to meet Paul on Thursday morning to assess the issues found what the problems were managed to fix them all onsite. We had a problem at first trying to get the boiler to ignite due to the water damage and eventually got it going I let the system run all day just to make sure everything was working properly. Paul said he would pop back in Around 5pm to check everything was still working okay and he did just that before he finished for the day. Excellent service from Lakeland gas. Everything ran like clockwork, from the first phone call to book an appointment for a leak on my boiler, to the invoice arriving. Communication was outstanding, with emails confirming the appointment, reminders, telling you when they are on their way and arriving bang on time. Mark arrived, discovered the problem, had the part he needed in his van and the boiler was fixed in half an hour. The invoice arrived by email the same day, was paid same day and i can't thank them enough for thier efficient, professional and friendly service. Recently had an lpg boiler service and a repair. The service was excellent, which I knew it would be, having had my boiler serviced by Lakeland Gas since the warranty expired a couple of years ago. Their staff are friendly, prompt and expert at what they do. They are also one of the very few companies that service lpg systems.

Mark at Lakeland Gas was great. He fixed the radiator really quickly and sorted out the issue with our gas fire efficiently. He was friendly and polite and I wouldn’t hesitate to use him again. He was quick to answer all messages.

The lakeland gas engineer arrived at the specified time, carried out some minor adjustments to the hot water temperature as a result of me saying that the nominal water temperature being too high. He then completed the annual service. A competent and tidy engineer. Will certainly use them again.

I’ve used Lakeland Gas for a few years now. Always professional from their reminder of date of servicing boiler to booking a suitable date to the actual service itself. Communication and the actual completion of a good job now a days with tradesman are few and far between but Lakeland Gas are in the top tier of professionalism. I would 100% recommend.

We were left in the lurch by Avanti gas when they stopped our bulk tank deliveries. We had to replace our elderly LPG cooker with a bottled gas supply in winter at the worst time of year. Karen in the office helped us to arrange getting our replacement fitted. Tyler and his colleague arrived Thursday and within hours we were up and cooking again. They were a credit to the company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lakeland Gas to anyone. It is so nice to have someone turn up when they say they will and do a good job with no fuss.

It became apparent that part of the issue was a lack of understanding of the heat source system, due to a partner passing away that had looked after this side of things. The team at Lakeland gas’s diligently checked the full system over and explained how to set and operate the system correctly. We recently had our boiler serviced with Lakeland Gas, Paul came out, arrived on time. Lovely guy, chatty and friendly, explained what needed doing. Very efficient and knowledgeable. Competitive prices, would highly recommend.

Lakeland were first to respond in person with a phonecall when I requested quotes from Vaillant online to try and get a replacement boiler for a remote, elderly step-father. They were the quickest to quote, the lowest and with some shuffling of existing work able to get my boiler replaced in a few days. I wasn't able to physically be there to check the work but they communicated well with texts and calls on the day and dropped the invoice for easy payment a few days after confirming the job was done.

1st class service. Lakeland Gas have been doing the annual service on our boiler for several years. They are always very professional. At the recent service I mentioned to our engineer Paul that our house was having trouble keeping the house warm during the very cold spell. It turns out a lot of the issue was due to the thermostat on some radiators being in an enclosed area. He advised me on a simple remedy. Paul then pointed out a setting on my boiler which was needlessly costing money and at my request this wa switched off. Paul also gave advice on other settings which if adjusted could save money. These have now been put in place. Very happy with the outcome. 😁

On behalf of Keswick Methodist Church, I called out Lakeland Gas to repair one of the church's boilers which had failed causing our worship area to be extremely cold. Lee McAllister was the engineer who attended and although not able to get the required part on the first visit, came back and not only repaired the boiler, but completed a full service and landlord's safety certificate as well, thus saving another callout in a few weeks time. Lee was very efficient and friendly and went above & beyond to get the job done for us, communicating regularly in between appointments to see how we were doing. I cannot recommend Lakeland Gas highly enough.

My first dealing with Lakeland Gas was a week or two ago when my central heating system broke down. They came round that morning and got it up and running again. They have now just replaced the whole system with a new up-to-date combi-boiler. This was quite involved as things needed to be relocated and redundant kit removed. The two installers were polite, and both worked very hard to get the job done. I am very pleased with the results.

Recently called out to fix a boiler problem and to do a full service. There Engineer Mark Hardy was very professional and completed the work promptly. The work was carried out with the minimum of disruption and cleanly. Mark highlighted a couple of legacy issues that will need to be fixed in the future. The overall cost was very reasonable, very happy customer, would defiantly recommend.

Lee came out to my home to take a look at a heating issue I had after I’d had installed an air source heat pump a year earlier. He diagnosed the problem quickly and helped me understand how to manage it going forward. There was no high pressure sales involved - infact it took them a week nearly to send me an invoice for their work. I needed my boiler looked at because I have no heating. 20 minutes after ringing I decided to have a nap but while I had said nap Mark arrived to fix my boiler, the office had rang me before hand, seeing I'm almost dead when asleep I didn't hear it. Anyway when I woke up I rang them to say the engineer would not know how to get to my Caravan not knowing he had already been. 5 minutes later he arrived again he had turned round and come back. Mark was brilliant he told me what he was doing, he got my boiler working he left no mess at all and would not even have a cuppa. I will most certainly recommend lakeland gas, they were efficient and Mark was very friendly.

When our boiler finally stopped working after 18 years we began looking for quotes locally to get a replacement. Lakeland Gas were amazing. A quote came out via email very quickly and Lee answered any questions we had promptly. Due to the outstanding customer service and the great price quoted for a new boiler, installation warranty etc we didn’t hesitate to make the decision to go with Lakeland Gas. Kieran arrived bang on time at 8am to fit our Baxi Platinum Compact boiler. He was very friendly, professional and well presented. He not only installed our boiler but went above and beyond sorting out the pipework around it and making sure that all the brickwork was fully restored. Kieran also made sure that everything was tidied up once all the work had been completed. I would recommend Lakeland Gas to anyone requiring work on their central heating without any hesitation.

Lakeland gas have been amazing. We needed a replacement boiler in our static caravan in St Bees. Lee and his team came out to assess what we needed. As we live in Cheshire we had to trust the team to go as we couldn't be there. A full assessment and pricing was done. We agreed and time and date was given for installation. Perfect. When we built this flat packed eco house we had a heat pump installed, unfortunately it failed to perform as hoped. Lee did extensive research into the design of the construction, insulation and heating system incorporated within the house and he determined that the original air source heat pump had been wrongly specified. He and his team have installed a new Vaillant air source heat pump which is working brilliantly. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail is the best I have ever seen and I would have no hesitation in recommending Lakeland Gas to anyone. Thank you Lee!
