Avoid - good loft insulation, but the cavity wall works have been a disaster I rarely leave reviews like this, but my experience with Evolve Home Energy Solutions has been extremely disappointing. To be fair, the loft insulation was completed to a good standard and I have no complaints about that part of the work. Unfortunately, the cavity wall insulation and extraction works have been a completely different experience. Evolve surveyed the property before starting and documented where existing insulation needed to be extracted. Once work began, I was then told significantly more extraction was required, despite this contradicting their own pre-installation survey. I have now been left with sections of the property where insulation has been removed and, as far as I am aware, has not been reinstated. This is one of the main reasons I have asked for an independent third-party assessment, so I can establish exactly what insulation remains and whether the work has been completed correctly. The external reinstatement has also been extremely poor. The pointing does not match the existing brickwork, leaving obvious colour differences. On the pebble-dash elevations there are numerous visible patch marks where drill holes have simply been filled with grey material. There is also now a crack in the pebble-dash render which was not recorded as being present before the works. The property was left with insulation debris and beads around the site, including within our drainage system. We have experienced drainage problems as a result. Evolve did attend once to try to clear this, but insulation beads are still clearly present and the issue has not been properly resolved. We are also now experiencing damp developing in the bathroom, including on walls where insulation has been removed and not reinstated, following the installation of window vents. This is obviously a major concern as these issues have arisen following the works. There was also staining and damage left across our slabs and resin-bound path. I have tried to be extremely reasonable in getting this resolved. Rather than insisting Evolve return to carry out the brickwork repairs themselves, I offered to arrange for the affected brickwork to be independently repointed by a competent third party, subject to Evolve approving and covering the cost. I have also asked Evolve to fund an independent third-party assessment of the cavity wall insulation so I can establish whether insulation has been properly reinstated, whether there are voids or other defects, and whether the installation has been completed correctly. Unfortunately, this is where communication now appears to have stopped. My emails asking Evolve to approve the cost of the independent repointing and pay for the independent cavity wall assessment are going unanswered. That is probably the most frustrating part of the whole experience. Problems can happen during building work, but a company should stand behind its workmanship and deal with issues properly when they arise. I have offered a sensible way forward, yet I am now struggling to get a response. At present, I have sections of wall with no insulation, mismatched pointing, visible patch repairs across the pebble dash, unresolved drainage problems with insulation beads still present, damp now developing internally, damage to external surfaces and no independent confirmation that the cavity wall insulation has been installed or reinstated correctly. My advice to anyone considering Evolve would be to proceed with extreme caution. Photograph everything before work starts, retain every survey and document, and do not assume that getting problems resolved afterwards will be straightforward. I will happily update this review if Evolve responds, approves the remedial works, funds the independent assessment and brings the matter to a satisfactory conclusion.

Joe and Josh Were very friendly and efficient and carried out their work with a high degree of professionalism And left the work site clean and tidy . I would highly recommend them . And also the two other colleagues that fitted the solar panels on the roof . ( sorry didn’t get their names )

Evolve were easy to deal with from my first enquiry to completion, in all, only took about 4 weeks from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company. Installation of the solar panels was completed by Luke & Ryan who were also excellent. I have been so impressed i have purchased additional panels installed by Ryan today 2/7/26. A first class job.

Had to update review following completion of work. Multiple installers (Scaffolders & Evolve staff directly) damaged my property during installation. The scaffolders specifically, broke the unit casing, then filled in the damage with silicon! This was replaced, but with great difficulty dealing with customer services. Further damage was identified on the property which was raised with the team where it was classified as "Damage prior to installation", despite all the damage being where work was completed...Evolve staff made customer service process long and protracted, missing contact deadlines, with clear goal of dithering and delaying any resolution. If you use Evolve, take photos of everything, prior, during and post installation as they will not work in your interest! I would however say that their engineer, Callum was very friendly and informative during the survey stage.

My experience with Rhys was good. He called 1 hour before coming over to let me know who he was and what time he would be coming, and what he was coming to do. After finishing, he explained what would happen next and what I should be expecting.

Rhys came to look at our loft insulation as we were having issues with mold where the insulation wasn't laid right to the edges in the loft. He recommended having new insulation throughout. Rhys was thorough and professional, taking photos and explaining/suggesting what else we can do to prevent mould in the house.

Callum attended this morning to carry out the cavity survey, he arrived at the time stated, he explained why he was here and what he was going to do. He explained that the survey should take around 20 minutes. Callum was true to his word, he was done within 20 minutes. I asked about next steps, he explained that once his report was sent it will then be decided on the best approach then the work will be booked, he explained that his company is hoping to get work completed by the end of March. Callum was polite, friendly and was happy to chat which makes a difference to other workpeople I have encountered in the past.

George was excellent very friendly and polite, was quick and no hassle explained everything politely and clearly and even made from some great conversation, highly recommend.

This company fitted our new storage heaters and we couldn’t fault them at the time. They were all so polite and friendly and the job they did was fantastic! Where they lack is customer after care. In the past week we’ve had issues with the heaters not working properly and with the temperature getting as low as -7 at some points we needed it sorted. We’ve rang them 3 times and been told someone would call back. Nobody has. We’ve emailed them and got no reply. We’ve filled out the online contact form and got no reply. We’ve now been without proper heat for an over a week and having to use electric fan heaters to keep warm which is using a huge amount of electricity! Very disappointed in Evolve & their aftercare. *** I just want to say that after posting this review a lady from this company called me and apologised for not responding to our calls. She assured us that someone would be contacting us within the hour to speak to us about our issues. About 10 minutes later an engineer called and a home visit has been arranged for the end of the week to fix our heaters. The lady then called again to make sure we were happy with the outcome.

Not happy with this company they walked dirt all up my stairs and left mess in my room even tho I messaged them to put something on there shoes I was asked to email pictures and ive just been blanked ever since even tho ive called them I at to resort in using a carpet cleaner in winter that made my carpet stink due to it not drying im not happy with this company i was also booked in to get my cavity wall installation they didn't do it

Rhys arrived promptly and communicated well both before the survey appointment and during. He explained what he was looking for, why and how it might affect the process and quote. He checked the loft insulation and said it was easily within code and did not need replacing nor additional work. He answered my questions fully and explained processes clearly. Other than his support for the wrong Rugby team, I can't fault his professional opinion and comment. I hope the rest of the Evolve team match his standards when the installation takes place next week.

Contacted Evolve Home Energy Solutions to enquire about loft insulation. Given an initial estimate on the phone which was then supported by Rhys who came out in person to provide a detailed quote for loft insulation, some boarding and two loft ladders. He took his boots off on entry to the house and took me through any issues that he spotted (eg. position of the loft ladder, position of the boarding). Now just waiting for the quote to come through. Excellent service to date with a professional company that seems to value top quality customer service.

We had a visit from George today and he was very professional and helpful . He explained everything from start to finish for us and was very patient with all of my questions . He was also very respectful of our home and took his shoes off which was a refreshing surprise . He did a very thorough job and we are confident he will suggest some great ways to help our sustainability going forward .

Bailey came today to perform a full survey. This company is fab and have brilliant blokes working for them. He was concious of his surroundings, made me aware where he was going in the house. (I had to stay mainly in the lounge due to having my little one). Polite, informative and professional.

When Rhys came into my home, he was very respectful and insisted on taking his work boots off which no one work man has ever done. I felt confident in his ability to carry out this job and this made me confident that this issue is one major step closer to getting sorted after all these years. He carried out the job in a professional and timely manner but he was also friendly and approachable. He is a great asset to your team and should be praised and recognised for his hard work and dedication to his trade.
