Just had solar panels, a battery and a gateway installed by ESP. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Dan the electrician persevered with finding a problem on my house circuit until everything was up and running. Will definitely get a quote from them when I need an electric car charger in the future

ESP came highly recommended by our local electrician, Ross came out to discuss the system with us. We were looking for a battery system to give us power during outages and also to incorporate our existing solar panels. ESP have now installed a Sigenergy battery and gateway system, we had our first power cut and the system switched to battery power without interruption and back to the grid seamlessly. We recommend ESP and the fitter and Ross were both very helpful and knowledgeable.

We cannot recommend ESP highly enough. An excellent company and everyone we have dealt with has been very professional and considerate - from the initial meeting, to the installers and the accounts/ administration. All the paperwork is straightforward and having got several quotes, their prices are fair. Every step of the process has been dealt with promptly and any queries we had have been responded to promptly. The workmanship is excellent, they worked in some horrible conditions to dig trenches and even came back to check replacement of the turf and slabs was good enough! The electrician is a perfectionist. No waste was left on site and we felt confident leaving them a key (that we wouldn’t usually do). It is rare that we feel the will to write a review but this is a pleasure to give and hope it gives other people considering ESP the confidence to go ahead. Thank you ESP - and if anyone wants to come and see our setup, we’d be happy to show you. I am now a dab hand with sorting electricity tariffs to get the most from it too! First rate job servicing my late mother’s thermal solar hot water system.

ESP Energy fitted solar PV panels and solar thermal panels for us in 2012. A high pressure hot water system and three coil hotwater storage tank was also fitted and has worked perfectly ever since. I called today to make enquiries about upgrading our system and was given superb advice and recommendations as to what to do. I would highly recommend this company.

I needed meter renewals for my biomass boiler. These were ordered for me by Hannah, who communicated with me well and gave me a fast slot once they were received. I found Adam, the engineer, to be very efficient, knowledgeable and very competent at what he was doing. He also sorted my WiFi connection to the boiler out, so all working good again. As the company also deals with solar panels I think I have found a competent company to call on for future services and breakdowns.

We have been dealing with ESP Energy since moving to Shropshire 4 years ago in 2021. Just before Christmas ('25) our NIBE heat system failed, leaving us without heat or hot water for 28 days, in our very rural location. But ESP were there for us, first trying to fix our failing system at the end of its life and then against all odds, obtaining a brand new NIBE replacement system AND fitting it by December 23rd. I can't praise them enough for sorting us out at this critical time of year, we are extremely grateful. We have been impressed with ESP throughout our 4-year relationship with them, covering both our heating and our solar panel system but this went above and beyond. The entire team are super to deal with: they are technically competent, friendly, flexible and reliable. Special thanks on this occasion to Adam who installed and set up our new NIBE system. ESP have been great. They have installed solar panels on a shed roof, all aspects of sales, installation and after service have been fantastic. ESP has been servicing my ETA pellet boiler for 2 years and have been reliable and efficient. They also did a grand job on my central heating pipework which now operates very efficiently. I will continue to use them for all my plumbing and heating tasks.

Most of us have had problems with tradesmen whether it not turning up, leaving mess or not doing the job properly. Richard and his company EPS gave outstanding service and I would highly recommend them. I arranged for our solar thermal system to be serviced by ESP. The telephone booking was friendly and professional and I was given the name of the engineer who would be undertaking the service. Richard telephoned when he arrived as we have limited access and he was happy to park on the roadside even though this meant he had to bring his tools down a long driveway. Richard was extremely considerate, offering to take his boots off, he diagnosed the problem straight away and had all the specialist equipment to get us going again. Richard was friendly, professional and a credit to his company.

ESP Energy installed a PV array several years ago which has now been supplemented with Sigenergy battery, car charger and new solar hot water tank. Although I thought I had a clear idea of what I wanted, in discussion with Ross I confirmed a modified arrangement. The entire process from enquiry, quotation, and installation was completed effortlessly. Perhaps the easiest technical project I have undertaken, of which there have been many. if you need a one stop shop for renewables look no further.

We have just had solar, 18 panels and battery, a Sigenergy 18kW with Gateway fitted by ESP. The whole team have been exceptional working a very long day to catch up after some poor weather on the first day. The whole process has been stress free and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

I've worked with ESP Energy for the last 10 years. They initially installed my ETA biomass boiler, have serviced it since, and recently installed a solar pv system for me. I repeatedly use them as I am extremely happy with the service, support and high quality of workmanship they provide.

I decided to go for a solar PV and battery installation by ESP after speaking to a couple of neighbours; one of whom had recently had one of their systems and seemed very pleased with it, and another who was slightly ahead of me and had decided to go with ESP too. I also liked the fact that that ESP are very local to me. I was really happy with the process of working with ESP from start to finish. I asked for quotes for various permutations of panels and batteries and whilst, with roof space constraints, there was no clear perfect combination, the information provided made it easier to make my choice. The battery system I decided on, Sigenergy, is modular so can be easily expanded if I wish, and can have an EV module to enable fast charging if I ever get an electric vehicle. Everyone I had dealings with was helpful and friendly, from the office team, through to the scaffolders, installers and electricians, and my requests for the siting of the batteries and various boxes were all met cheerfully. I appreciate that my installation started right at the beginning of the summer holidays, but ESP managed to complete the installation in what I thought was a very reasonable timescale. I also had a new consumer unit and an EICR test in addition to the solar PV and battery installation, and am really pleased that thanks to their hard work I now have a fully up-to-date and tested system. As a last minute request from me ESP also kindly supplied and fitted a diverter to the immersion heater, and I was really impressed that despite me asking for a price for supply and fitting of one of the very well known makes, they suggested and supplied a different type that appears to do exactly the same thing e.g. it can supply anything from a few hundred watts right up to the full rating of the element, at a vastly reduced cost, and with a ten year warranty. The only difference I can see is the lack of an app I would probably rarely use. Thanks to all concerned.

We got fabulous advice from Ross and the team, they listened to what we wanted to achieve and offered the perfect solution for us. We also talked to 2 other companies, but ESP offered us the best products and advice. Great service.

Excellent from the outset. I phoned for advice and all my questions were comprehensively answered. The initial survey was thorough and again I received good advice and more than sufficient information to make informed choices. This was backed up with email quotes for a variety of options. I made my choices having discussed them fully with the staff and a mutually convenient date was set for work to commence. Once work commenced it was completely quickly and efficiently with respect for our home etc. They even sorted out our dodgy earth. Nothing was too much trouble. Once fully connected, the app is a breeze to use and tells me all I need to know about the performance of the system. Telephone advice is always available if required. Fast forward two and a half years and I discovered once again how excellent their customer service is. A communication issue appeared, the battery had somehow isolated itself from the rest of the system and no information was available. A late night try to resolve the issue using the app was unsuccessful. So, I made a quick call the following morning. The call was handled quickly and efficiently, I was transferred to the right person and he was with me in no time at all. The problem was quickly solved following liaison with the manufacturer/provider. There was a follow up visit and call the following morning to check that everything was still ok and a promise of ongoing support when needed. Absolutely first class.

ESP Sales and Service Ltd designed and installed an 11.6kWp east-west array on our garage barn roof. I was looking for a local installer, who we could work with to design a system to take account of a number of complexities - not least working on a listed building, and ESP came recommended by a colleague of mine. A number of layout options were considered, ESP worked within the constraints of the listed status and the architect's design, trialling a new (to them) installation system to accommodate portrait and landscape orientated panels (all black), installed 'in roof'. The installation had to be staged to align with the garage rebuild programme, with final commissioning several months after the panels were completed, which added extra complexity. ESP has also now installed a Zappi EV charger, which integrates beautifully with the SolarEdge system; I will be getting them back in the coming months and years to add to our solar ecosystem with house storage batteries etc. Overall - professional and high quality workmanship from the entire team, from design to the roof installation, to the wiring and commissioning - very highly recommended.

Ross came out between Christmas and New Year when even Mitsubishi wouldn’t send an engineer My air source heat pump had an electrical fault and there was no heat or hot water. Ross’ response on the weekend was prompt, courteous and he diagnosed the problem within minutes of arriving. The problem was sorted quickly and very affordably. He explained the problem and re- tested the system before leaving. I completely recommend.

The team (and its a big team) were fantastic, From quoting through to order install & commissioning, they were super responsive, incredibly competent, and nothing was too much trouble. They put up 22 solar panels, a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery, connected two energy supplies into 1, dug trenches between buildings, installed a Cat6 ethernet cabling system AND kept cost reasonable with no shocks. Above all, they were nice guys! I cannot recommend this company strongly enough.

Best decision I've made this year to choose ESP to supply us with solar panels, I cannot fault their service from start to finish we were treated like individuals and our requirements important to them, starting with a face-to-face meeting to discuss our options, the manner in which our choices were explained to us verbally and on paper were easy to understand, nothing appeared too much trouble; On comparison with other suppliers ESP made our choice easy to make, Their price was competitive, and I still cannot get over the prompt delivery and installation ,once we'd made our decision, installation was completed in under a week, there was no stalling, no mess the entire work force and customer service for extremely helpful every step of the way

In June this year I decided to take the plunge and upgrade my ageing solar PV system to try and combat my ever increasing electricity charges! After a lot of research, review reading and quote gathering, I decided to use ESP Energy . They are a Shropshire based company, so local to me. My quote for a 9.1kW PV system with a 10kW battery from SolarEdge certainly was not the cheapest, but neither was it the most expensive - by far. Having decided to use ESP Energy to install the new system, this review is written two months after completion of the work. I will therefore cover the install and the impact it has had on my electrical usage and financials. After several planning meetings to decide best layouts to maximise PV output, cabling routes and electrical equipment and battery location, work commenced around mid-August with erection of the scaffolding. Panels and electrical equipment were installed through September and the system was fully commissioned by the end of the month. This whole process was seamless and completed according to agreed timescales. The quality of the final installation of the panels, cabling and all electrical equipment is truly exceptional. Plans were followed to the letter and all ESP staff were utterly professional at all times. Since install, there have been a couple of teething issues which were dealt with either from the ESP offices: the system is monitored 24/7 by ESP staff, or by a site visit. All problems were dealt with within half an hour of contacting the ESP office. In fact, in one instance after having called the ESP office, a company director arrived to check the system in person within twenty minutes of calling! This level of ongoing customer service is unusual and utterly refreshing. My previous installation was installed by one of those nameless faceless national companies; customer care was non-existent! This is not the case with ESP whose ongoing customer care and support is exceptional! So, after all, was it worth it! My electricity bill for the month of November 2023 was £365. This November - considering it was one of the most depressingly cloudy Novembers on record - it was £61, and that includes £16.74 monthly standing charge for the meter. So, it absolutely was worth it! I now charge the battery at night during my economy 7 cheap rate hours and discharge it during the day during peak rate. This, together with solar generation, - 0.5kW on the most cloudy, rainy days - has meant I now now use virtually no peak rate electricity... and this includes the power needed for my washing machine, dishwasher, oven, fridge, freezer and all house base load for the 17 hours of peak electricity!! Once Spring comes, and the days lengthen, I will effectively be 'off grid'. Also, we recently had quite a lengthy power cut, or so people tell me! My system quietly slipped into back-up mode running all house appliances until the Grid was repaired. Apparently there is a 3 second crossover between power failure and backup systems kicking in but, as I was asleep, I was blissfully unaware! Financially, the system will pay for itself within 6 years and lifetime profit is projected to be over £40,000! This includes monthly bill savings, SEG export payments and FIT generation payments (I already had a FIT contract from my old system; this not available now). My projected annual saving is a remarkable £2,500. If you can raise the capital to install a system like mine, there are very few other financial schemes which will give you any where near this return on your investment! In conclusion... Should you install a SolarEdge solar panel battery backup system... Oh yes! Should you use ESP and Sales to install, commission and monitor your SolarEdge system...Oh most definitely YES!

ESP completed a 10Kw ground array for us a month ago. They produced several proposals for us to compare and answered my many questions patiently. Due to a backlog of work we had to wait our turn for several months but when work started both installation teams were considerate and efficient. Today I had a visit from Ross, who undertook the initial site survey, to help with some more esoteric queries re the app, battery profiling, and setting up priorities with the Zappi EV charger. All in all a very positive experience. UPDATE December 2024, 15 months after installation: all performing well and payback timeline on track. Ground array not troubled by storm Darragh.

We used ESP from recommendation following a couple of failed attempts to get others to quote, one call to Ross at ESP and the ball was rolling, Ross attended site on multiple occasions to asses the site, and offer comprehensive guidance on the best system to use on our site. As you can see from the photos this turned out absolutely brilliantly, his staff are all more friendly and helpful, there was a wait on commissioning of the system, and whilst a little frustrating as we were excited to get up and running the time was useful as it allowed us to sort out what we were going to do with our electric meter, is the one we had is unable to measure units to export. ESP also offer A lot of help and advise on sorting this to, we look forward to the saving on return of investment, and would not think twice to use ESP again for any similar projects,

We purchased a solar energy system, including a battery from ESP. It has been over 12 months since the system was installed, and it has worked / still is working brilliantly, with no issues. Our energy bills have decreased massively, especially being able to store energy in the battery. Highly recommended for domestic solar & battery install. My requirements were for a relatively sizeable Solar ground based array, alongside batteries for our Shropshire based property. I contacted Jack at ESP earlier in the year for a quotation and right from the get go, Jack along with Alex were very proactive in contacting our Distribution Network Operator (DNO) to understand our export limits with Jack then providing a range of quotes, options & highly informative reports based on the DNO export limit and my requirements. I had a number of key dependencies over many months such as getting a smart meter installed, planning permission, but Jack & Alex were always on hand to answer any questions or queries I had, including details on the Givenergy All-in-one (AIO) & Gateway battery solution, which was new to everyone at the time. I have just had the Solar solution (10.6 Kw) & AIO + Gateway installed and whilst early days, I am delighted how the system is performing so far and how discrete it has been made to look around our property. The ESP installation team were superb from start to finish - from the groundwork, through to doing all the electrical work and the final commissioning. They clearly take pride in what they do, working to a high standard, providing a neat & tidy finish throughout. All round, 10 out 10!

ESP energy did a full installation of a pressured water system and storage system along with a smart underfloor heating control system. they did this in one of the most remote part of the Snowdoina national on a totally off grid building and we honestly couldn't be happier with the work they did. To say the weather was agents them was an understatement (very heavy rain and strong winds ) and they still carried on and did the highest of standards of work. I would highly recommend the ESP team anyone. They where extremely professional, high quality work and knowledge and most of all a great company to work with.
