ICE Electrical Services Ltd

ICE Solar installed a 10 panel solar system with 10kw of battery for me in June 2025. They use Solax equipment. From the first engagement with Lewis and Ian who came out to survey right up to the completion of the job everything was superb. There was NO HIGH PRESSURE sales. A detailed design with full Bill of Materials was sent to me promptly after the survey. I'd seen PLENTY of SOLAR quotes on Facebook so had a sense of what the costs may be and I was very pleased with the quote I received. The installation team were excellent. Courteous, informative and very patient with my questions. The necessary paperwork and forms were all completed and in about 6 weeks from start of the work I was fully onboarded with Octopus Energy and supplying surplus electricity to the Grid. I even sent Octopus an email to comment on how good ICE Solar have been as at the time Octopus were not able to 'install' in the South Wales area. Once commissioned they haven't just walked away. I've had several really helpful communications with Liam who has been fantastic at helping me understand the information and data I see and consider various options to ensure I get the best from the installation. So - whether you are with Octopus Energy or not I would 100% recommend ICE Solar. They are big enough to cope but small enough to provide amazing service.

ICE Solar provided an excellent service installing solar panels on our home. From start to finish they were professional, providing good up to date advice, they were punctual, clean and were also competitively priced. Thanks all!

Ice Solar have been mine/our chosen solar experts and installers on many a contract some smaller (Schools etc) and larger installs and they have been both professional and a pleasure to work with on both short and longer contracts, their experience and knowledge is more than apparent when dealing with the design and installation process

Having worked with ICE Solar on a large number of projects over the years they have provided great service and delivered quality work with professionalism and care.”

Brilliant job. A good price and a very professional service. Very reliable and I am really pleased with the result

In November we had a solar system (with storage battery) installed by Ice Solar. From start to finish they were a company that were personable, professional, and most importantly cared about the job. I was informed at every step of the way of varying ways forward, their recommendations and pros and cons of these choices. When communicating with Ice Solar you feel as though you are their only customer and that your business is very important to them. Where in fact, my installation was quite a small one compared to their large projects. The installers were clean, tidy and very personable. They always arrived on time and worked very hard. My inquisitive son asked many many questions and they happily explained how the system worked and how he could monitor it via an app on his iPad. The way I would describe Ice Solar in a nut shell is a company that has the portfolio of a national thriving company but with grass roots care and attention to even the smallest of projects.
