I don’t recommend their services to anyone. Our boiler system was okay up until we got the annual boiler service. Soon after their service we noticed a leakage in the system and they said some other reason and send us an invoice. Very poor service.

Had a large 5 inch copper pipe installed behind my tv for heating purposes ended up giving me 4.25 inch wouldn’t refund!!!!

We had no hot water or heating,and had our grandchildren over. Neil came round on the same day and fixed the boiler. Very efficient,and competitive price.Would definitely. Many thanks Neil

Loyal customer for many years. Then hit with a chase letter from their solicitors for a sum of £48 when other work followed. Terrible customer service. Will not ever use them again.

Price was high for a toilet and sink repair/replacement. We went ahead thinking that they would do a decent job. However they only do exactly what they say they will. If they break something they say "no way we could have foreseen that." For me this is poor service. I won't choose them again.

Came round to fix a god awful noise a few months ago with my bath taps. Noise is now worse.

Used these guys for many years but a muddy, wet carpet and a messy, expensive fix means I will find someone more experienced for the next service.

Unreliable - wouldn’t recommend Monday our en suite toilet started to constantly flow water down the pan after I flushed it. Reported it to our house builder and they hired M and N to fix the issue. Plumber was booked to fix the issue for Thursday same week as it’s the soonest they could get someone out to us (which we believed was an extremely long time for us to have hear constant running water down our toilet and be 1 toilet down), we accepted Thursday as it was our only option. Thursday came round and we got a phone call saying our plumber had phoned in sick and they would have to cancel our appointment today, they rescheduled for next week Friday. Unacceptable for us to have an appointment delayed by over a week.

I have a new build with some guttering problems,the builders sent out these people to sort the problem,they have been out twice and haven't got a clue,and they have not turned up twice after me having time of work,avoid this company

New build. Trying to arrange a boiler service was told I would receive a call back within an hour and absolutely nothing! totally rubbish service I think I will go elsewhere no wonder they've got poor reviews.

Please don't park on my drive without asking when doing work for other people.

We've had M&N Heating & Plumbing out to service our boiler over the last couple of years and we've always found them very helpful and professional. One morning, we found ourselves with no hot water or heating so after a quick phone call they helped us diagnose and resolve the issue which was a really straight forward fix we could do ourselves. I would definitely recommend this company.

I used M&N heating to service our boiler and hot water tank. Something happened during the service that resulted in the heating being stuck on. They refused to consider the possibility they may have damaged the system and they charged me £130 to fix the fault. They wouldn't even come out and look at the issue for free they just sent me a quote for the work. Given that our heating was stuck on full, they even took 48 hours to come and look at it and said they couldn't come the next day.

We have had problems with the boiler and system in our "New Home" it is 10 years old. M&N Heating have proved to be quick to respond and very professional in their advice and work. I find a couple of the latest reviews "puzzling" poor driving and tiling--they are heating engineers ? I think these reviews are of questionable intent--- and do not in any way represent the friendly professional work that we have experienced.

I live in a new build property where m&n were responsible for the plumbing installation. Shody workmanship and terrible customer service. Avoid if possible.

Whoever drives your vans, needs to retake their driving test! Bloody shocking following you along the southam road to Banbury this morning. Driving at 40, holding up key frontline workers on their way to support very poorly covid patients. Randomly slamming on the breaks in foggy patches. It was almost like you wanted to cause an accident! Not to mention all the swerving about on the wrong side of road... Next time I see your van behave like that I'll be taking registration number and reporting you to the police. Thanks for wrecking about 15 cars commute to work. Tossers!

I had one of their staff come to do some tiling work they charged for 3 days work but he kept disappearing on the first day he only worked 3.5 hours but charged for a full day. He said I could access the water to make some coffee but when I ran the water it flooded the floor it took me an hour to clear it up. He was never here he always had an excuse to leave or was always on the phone to his girlfriend. They do not care about standards of work but just the cash. A Bunch of Cowboys

Fantastic and speedy service. Friday before Bank Holiday and we sprung a leak which meant we had to turn off water to the whole house. Came same afternoon and fixed within the hour. Friendly service both on phone and the men that came to fix it. Will definitely be using again, now I know why I always see your vans around!

I noticed that my outside Glow Worm boiler overflow had been running. The pressure was shown as 2.5 bar instead of the recommended 1.0 bar so I drained it down to 1.0 bar but it slowly rose again even though the boiler had not been switched on. This went on for a few weeks but as the heating and hot water were still functioning normally I waited until we got back from holiday before getting it sorted. Wanting to employ local tradesmen, and having heard their adverts on local radio I phoned M&N who advertised free estimates and competitive rates. BIG MISTAKE. Two guys turned up, said they would pump up the expansion vessel, did this, said it should cure the fault but if the pressure still increased they recommended that the PRV and filling loop be replaced. Said they had no idea what the work they had done would cost and no idea of what any further repairs would cost. 30 minutes after they had left the pressure started increasing again. A few days later I received a bill for £84 and realised I had been ripped off and that pumping up the pressure vessel was unnecessary work to charge me instead of a free estimate, and I was charged for 2 men although only 1 could work in the cupboard housing the boiler. So I decided to ask for an estimate for the other work. This duly arrived as below: For the following proposed works: To drain down the central heating system. To isolate the cold water supply to the boiler. To remove and dispose of the old filling loop. To supply and install a new filling loop. To remove and dispose of the old central heating tap. To supply and install a new central heating tap. To remove and dispose of the old DHW cold water inlet tap. To supply and install a new DHW cold inlet tap. To remove and dispose of the old PRV. To supply and install a new PRV. To reinstate the central heating supply. To reinstate the cold water supply. To test the installation. Sub Total £407.30 VAT £81.46 Total £488.76 (this did not include any extra work found to be necessary!) Now I may know little about boilers but it looked very much like a lot of expensive unnecessary work was included – after all why would a pressure relief valve need replacing when it was obviously working and why so many taps? So I phoned Glowworm, they said they would do a repair for a fixed price of £299 and this would include a six month maintenance guarantee against anything else going wrong with the boiler. Naturally I nearly bit their arm off. The next morning an engineer arrived, I made no mention of M&N’s attempts and described the problem. He turned off the mains supply, removed and replaced a brass tap for filling the boiler, having used a bowl to prevent leakage, tested the system and left, all within half an hour. The boiler has functioned perfectly since. M&N got one thing right –I am a gullible old age pensioner £84 lighter! I gave them 1 star for turning up but things went downhill from there!

Really friendly and efficient service our plumber (Steve) was prompt, very professional and had the problem with our boiler fixed much more quickly than we anticipated the price was good too! Very highly recommended.

These guys are real pros. Having been let down by two other more local firms who simply never turned up to do the work - we suspect they couldn't do it - M&N sent an excellent engineer with an apprentice (always a good sign) who got the job done successfully and in record time, working early in the morning so not to disrupt our retail business.
