Tom and Sphere Energy Solutions Limited came by way of recommendation. Following a first meeting he quickly put together a comprehensive Solar Energy System proposal. All my questions on this were answered simply. Tom made everything easy. Some preparation work particular to my installation was necessary; ducting was installed under my lawn and patio, and we planned for a bracing of my garage roof too. Once the application to my local electricity network operator had been approved we set a date for commencement, and the works were completed quickly and neatly. The on site team ( Jack, Ryan, Archie and Ethan ) were all very professional, and Jenny at the office too. I’d suggest speaking to Tom if you are considering a solar installation. Mark O
I recently used Sphere Energy for a home PV, battery and off-grid backup installation, including 3 phase upgrade with the DNO, and I'd really recommend them. I first contacted several companies that appeared high on Google results but they all seemed to want to install standard systems that were easy for them rather than something that met my requirements. Sphere were different and from the first phone call it was clear that they wanted to design a system around what I actually needed. Communication throughout the process was excellent. Changes to the spec and plan were handled simply and without any fuss. The installation is neat and they took care to hide wiring and leave things looking clean. Set up, commissioning and final paperwork were straight forward and well explained. And most importantly, the system works great!
I was passed on contact details for Sphere Energy Solutions by a work colleague who had used them to install solar panels and a battery about a year previously and had been very impressed with them. From my initial phone enquiry to the survey, DNO application and installation, Tom and Jenny in the office were extremely helpful, answering any questions I had. Lee who headed up the solar panel installation team and Jamie the electrician who installed the battery, inverter, gateway and EV charger were not only extremely professional but also friendly and helpful. I was delighted that they were able to install an extra two solar panels once they had started and left the area clean and tidy once they had finished. Because Jenny was on the ball with the DNO application I was able to start exporting my excess electricity earlier than I was expecting. I honestly think this is one of the best home improvements I have ever done and I'm extremely glad I used Sphere Energy Solutions!
I couldn't be more pleased with Tom and his team at Sphere energy. Tom took the time to understand what i wanted to achieve and to custom design the system. His team were quick, very tidy, respectful of my property and very professional. They worked very effectively with my builders who were working on some of the same areas of my property. Since commissioning the system Tom has been very patient and responsive to any queries i have. Highly recommended.
My wife and I engaged Sphere Energy Solutions to install a Sigenergy solar battery storage system to further enhance our PV system installed by Sphere Energy Solutions back in 2011. Jack and Tom, the two young men who carried out the installation are an absolute credit to Sphere Energy Solutions. They arrived on time and worked diligently to ensure that the installation was completed with the utmost care and attention to detail. When a decision had to be made, they consulted us to ensure our total satisfaction with the outcome. We had no qualms about leaving them in our home when we went out. Sphere installed solar panels and a Sigenergy inverter and battery for us, they were excellent, flexible, really helpful and stuck to their word throughout the whole process. We spent a long time wondering whether or not we should go for solar but we are so glad we did, the system works brilliantly. I can 100% recommend Sphere as a quality company and local too which we felt was really important.
Tom & the team installed 27 solar batteries and 3 Sigen batteries. From the initial meeting to completion the team were amazing and very professional. All questions were always answered quickly and with detail. The work was very neat and tidy. A great job was done and I would highly recommend them.
The team have installed 26 panels and a Sig energy battery and gateway system for us. The installation was completed to a really high standard and the team went above and beyond to meet our needs. We chose this local company for our solar panel and battery installation and couldn’t be more impressed. The whole team was friendly, professional, and passionate about what they do. They explained everything, completed the work on time, and left everything neat and tidy. Phone calls and emails were answered quickly, and no pushy sales tactics. We were quoted the price we paid, no added hidden fees or costs. All in all, Tom and the team did a perfect job.

The Sphere team were brilliant. They talked us through the available options, and came to see our property to advise on locations for our gateway and battery. The team were punctual, polite and efficient, tidying everything up before they left. They kept us informed every step of the way, and we were able to have the work done within 3 weeks of making contact. Two thumbs up - I'd definitely recommend them.

Sphere quoted for us in late August and our solar + battery install was scheduled mid-September. They were happy to discuss options and provided a competitive quote that maximised the use of the roof. The 3 day installation was completed when scheduled and undertaken professionally by the team with a very neat finish to both panels and the internal electrical install. All paperwork including the G99 application was completed for us, and certification issued promptly post-installation. Really happy with our solar set-up a couple of months in and looking forward to some sunshine.
Sphere Energy Solutions were recommended to us by friends. I was so impressed with the service from start to finish. The entire team were lovely, from the chaps installing the panels to the electricians connecting the system. The system is up and running with no issues and it’s great to see the savings from the moment it goes live. Would definitely recommend.
Tom was superb throughout, answering all my stupid questions diligently and quickly. Given the amount of money required I also needed time to consider and organise other issues, and Tom was entirely supportive in this long process. His team were also super efficient and helpful, thanks to Sonny, Jack and Jamie. A truly professional team.
The installation was carried out neatly and on time. Whilst I'm not anticipating any emergencies, all the operatives are linked to an alarm system so as to give a rapid response. One of our neighbours who recommended Sphere has experienced this service and speaks very highly of them. Presumably a company which is not local is unlikely to react so quickly.

From initial enquiries to the app being downloaded was a joy. Everyone was so helpful and understanding with my questions and concerns. Would highly recommend the team. No pushy sales and always quick to help. I spent a year worrying about getting solar panels! Worrying about the technology, the installation and how it will look. So immensely pleased with Sphere Solar.from selection - pre work survey- admin team - installation-commissioning. Even seeing previous work by Sphere Solar was so worth it and good. There was no hard sell. After doing a lot of research on solar panels, batteries, invertors and car chargers and having had a few visits from other companies to get quotes and quiz them on the solution for our house we selected Sphere Solar. The team were all you would expect from an Installation crew. Polite, courteous and hard working. The work was scheduled for 3 days and that’s what it took. At each stage the team didn’t rush to leave until work was completed including clean up. They did not object to us watching them work and asking questions. All certificates were promptly provided. Solar PV, Battery, EV Charger, MyEDDI A good experience from start to finish. The business owner, Tom, designed a solar system to suit our needs. The quote was competitive and no hard sell. The project was scheduled around our commitments and started on-time. The installation team were polite, courteous, and informative. The site was left tidy. Admin by was prompt and accurate. Tom visited after the installation finished, explained the apps and answered our questions. A couple of snagging issues were resolved the next morning by a visit from one of the team. Everyone has been a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended.
From start to finish a thoroughly professional experience with no hard sell and a very competitive quote for solar panels and storage. All works completed promptly, tidily and with minimal disruption. Handover was completed effectively and all relevant documentation received the following working day after the install was complete. Since our first call to Sphere we’ve been impressed with their friendliness, communication and willingness to help. They have answered our many questions and provided clear information on the design, potential generation and the timeline for the installation. The installation team were fantastic. Tidy, polite, answering questions along the way and explaining what was going on at every stage. They worked hard through 3 of the hottest days of the year and weren't phased when our family life got in the way. When there was a minor challenge with the installation (due to the supplied panels, not the design) they quickly found a solution, explained exactly what the issue was and how it was going to be solved. The installation we have looks great and has been designed for any future expansion which is a bonus. So far it’s reduced our reliance on the grid by 90% whilst we get used to our production, and we have managed to completely cut out gas use for heating water. We would definitely recommend Sphere if you’re interested in a professional solar PV installation. Tom and his team were excellent throughout.

Highly recommend this company for solar panel installation. From initial consultation to installation, the team are professional, friendly, approachable and efficient. There are delays getting some components from abroad due to high demand and I can only imagine the frustration this causes the company. However they remained calm and unflustered at all times and with a couple of last minute issues, we were offered good workaround solutions. Due to demand for solar panels these days, you'll need to be prepared to wait in line for your installation but this company is well worth the wait.
