Baird and Brown Ltd

Battle Hill farm:- We would highly recommend Baird and Brown, we are very happy with our two systems, 14 solar panels with a three battery back up system installed in 2023, we have now added a second system with 32 panels with a three battery back system both inked up together on two separate buildings, both David and Phil are very knowledgeable, professional and dependable, keeping us informed every step of the way, a fantastic job from start to finish.

Baird and Brown quoted me for a complete solar pv with battery storage system in April, with the installation completed at the end of June. The whole process was faultless from start to finish. Being a large investment, I had a LOT of questions and Philip was more than happy to answer them. I requested several quotes with different numbers of panels inverter and battery size, Philip worked out what would work best with my usage, without wasting money on too large a system that wouldn't give viable returns. My roof is East/West facing and I opted for 10.2kw of solar with 12 panels facing in each direction, I also have 10kw of battery storage, with a 6kw inverter and opted for the solar iboost, for hot water via the immersion. Philip completed all the paperwork for the dno application, and submitted the certification so I could get my smart export set up with the new supplier almost straight away. Philip and Dave worked really hard through a very hot week during installation, set up was explained, work was neat and I am one very happy customer, with a system that is performing exceptionally well. Baird and Brown is a local company covering the South East, who show care and proffesionalism, with the personal touch, you don't get from the big players, so highly recommended.

Well if you want solar experts these are the guys for you. Perfect advice quick efficient service and a great installation job. Once your in their solar family they are there to help and advise you. They really are the greatest guys you will ever have to do your job. If l could give them 10 gold stars l would.

Highly recommend Baird and Brown for Solar / battery / inverter installation. Did a lot of research, got many quotes. They were competitive (but not the cheapest) and I’d be very surprised if they weren’t the best value when you take into account their knowledge, passion and professionalism. The Sunsynk battery / inverter / app set up is very clever. All working as expected, looking forward to much lower bills and happy to be making a small contribution to the planet’s well being.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Baird and Brown Ltd. to install solar panels, a battery system, and a car charger at our property, and we are absolutely thrilled with the entire experience! From the onset, the team demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism and punctuality, arriving right on time as promised. Both gentlemen we worked with were not just skilled in their trade but also incredibly personable and easy to communicate with. They took the time to install it meticulously, ensuring everything was set up perfectly. They didn’t just stop at the installation; they went above and beyond to explain how everything works in a way that was easy to understand, even for those unfamiliar with solar technology. Moreover, they offered invaluable advice on the best tariff to suit our energy needs. Their passion for what they do is evident in the quality of their work and their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. We could not recommend Baird and Brown Ltd. enough – they are a five-star service provider, and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a fantastic team. Thank you for making our transition to solar energy so smooth and enjoyable!

Baird and Brown came recommended and I can see why. I’ve already recommended to others.

Thank you Dave and Phil for a great insulation of solar panels battery and inverter ... after only 2days I can see it’s going to be a great investment would highly recommend Baird and brown to my friends and neighbours in future

Baird and Brown have been brilliant from start to finish. We wanted a ground mounted system a little way from the house, so it was a slightly complicated ask. Philip and David have been so helpful, professional and a pleasure to deal with throughout. There was absolutely no pressure to go for expensive options, in fact the reverse. They talked through the choices with us, always responded promptly to our questions, and found clever solutions to any difficulties. The work on site is neat, well set out, and the system just works - exactly what we wanted! We are very pleased with it.

Phil & David were great. They listened to what I wanted and discussed all the options and kept me up to date at each step. Their work was tidy and professional. They updated my House and my Garage Distribution boxes and run a new cable between them then installed my new Zappi EV charger integrating it with my existing Solar Panels. I'd recommend them to anyone

Excellent service.

Professional and knowledgeable. They listened to what I wanted my solar system for in addition to supplying electricity and charging up batteries - which was to supply power during a power cut and to heat the hot water and then made it happen with great attention to detail. I am very happy with my system and would highly recommend the company. David and Philip always responded quickly to any queries I had, and the team were careful and considerate working in and around the house.

Baird and Brown installed 14 solar panels this year and we could not have been any happier with their service. From the initial contact to installation and after care they have been so wonderful and professional. Extremely knowledgeable and so conscientious about their work and products. We were impressed at their level of neatness and care towards our house. Always wearing shoe covers everywhere indoors. Despite it being a Bank holiday Baird and Brown went above and beyond to sort out a technical issue we were having and kept visiting until it was all sorted. They were a pleasure to use and we are so pleased with the panels. Highly recommend.

A great experience all round. Clear pre-sales advice, no pressure, a very good quote, I'm really pleased with the neat installation. They brought cable design suggestions to the table, demonstrated use of the inverter, battery and solar app and followed up post-install to make sure everything was satisfactory. Kept to the schedule, and tidied everything up afterwards. Highly recommended.

David, Phil & the team installed a solar power system, battery storage & car charger the whole experience was fantastic, so professional & boy were they helpful, their advice before during & after the installation was great! We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a solar power system thanks guys 👍

Baird and Brown installed my solar panels and battery storage system. They have been amazing from the beginning. From the day I first contacted them for a quote their communication has been excellent, no question was too much trouble and they ensured I received a system that does exactly what I need. Really professional and the quality of the install is second to none. Post installation, they have been supportive and aided me in adjusting settings and ensuring everything is running smoothly. All paperwork was received promptly. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a solar installation.

SOLAR PANEL INSTALLATION We cannot recommend Baird and Brown highly enough. They were recommended to us by friends who had told us about battery storage to use in the event of a power cut and at that point we had not even considered solar panels. Phil and David offered to do a free survey and arrived punctually. We were immediately impressed by their knowledge, calmness and friendliness. They quickly grasped the electrical layout of the house which is not straightforward. There was no hard sell when they asked us if we had ever considered solar and outlined the benefits to us. We were provided with quotes for batteries alone as well as with solar panels, along with a comprehensive breakdown of costs and likely return on investment over 25 years with the panels. Product information sheets were included and our subsequent queries answered promptly. We went ahead with 14 solar panels on our south facing roof together with two batteries and a port included to recharge the batteries from a generator in the event of a long power cut. The certificate from UK Power Networks arrived swiftly and Phil, David and Jack arrived on time on the booked installation day, the scaffolding, organised by them, having been put up the previous week. The guys worked hard all day, returned the next day with two more helpers and then again on the third day for most of the indoor electrical work. On each day they worked hard and were always happy to answer our questions as they went along. They were very considerate of our property, always checking with us about the siting of various components. At the end of each day everything was left tidy. The electrical work is incredibly neat and much attention has been paid to safety labelling everywhere. When all was complete at the end of the third day they set up the Sunsynk app and went through it with us and everything was switched on. The next day totally coincidentally there was a power cut in our area and everything worked perfectly as planned – ie our freezers, heating and some lights remained on, running off the batteries. Even now in mid-winter we are at times running the house with no power from the grid. We are thrilled about this from the green energy point of view, the daily cost saving (OK forget the initial outlay), but most of all from the happy chance that we found Baird and Brown. The Solar industry is a minefield. Or as a friend put it, The Wild West – (cowboy outfits). However we feel that in Baird and Brown we were lucky to have found a very safe, professional, competent and pleasant Company. We know that if ever there were to be any problems, they would be back out to us very quickly.

I was looking for a small local company to fit solar panels as there are many who advertise and act as agents and are not really local. This company are excellent all that was promised was completed in good time without fuss and were a pleasure to deal with so can recommend them without doubt.

Baird and Baird have just installed our solar panels. From point of first contact they were highly responsive and helpful. Really clear options and advice and no question was too much…they couldn’t have helped anymore! From point of order to install in just a few weeks. It was quick and seamless! These are exceptionally professional and polite contractors, who work hard and get the job done! Three days at our property and barely aware they were here. The install was tidy and organised…they left the property cleaner than it was when they started! If you’re looking for Solar I wouldn’t think twice…we would highly recommend this company!!!

We recently contracted Baird & Brown to install our solar panels + EDDI + Zappi. We are extremely happy with the level of service and quality of materials. Communication was effective and very responsive via email/phone; next steps were always explained; expectations correctly set and guidance provided in regards to what would make sense for our situation. All in all, based on my experience I would use their services again and highly recommend them.

Fitted solar panels to my home, good workmanship and professional service provided, defiantly recommend

Baird and Brown were contracted to supply and install a set of 11 domestic solar panels, battery storage and the added functionality of a backup power supply to keep the lights on in the event of a power cut. Both Philip and David took the requirements I had and advised on the correct system to forfill our needs the quality of the planning, product selection attention to detail has been second to none. The price quoted was delivered to with no surprises along the way, they stuck to the dates and delivered a functioning system as designed. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone else, they are not only knowledgeable in what they do but they take the time to explain things in layman’s terms.

From start to finish David and Phil were an absolute delight, professional, knowledgeable, helpful and definitely not there to make a fast buck. I contracted a reasonable size domestic solar installation, the quality of the work, attention to detail, communication delivery on what was promised could not be faulted. It was a genuine pleasure to have contracted with Baird and Brown in an area that is somewhat full of promises and light on delivery Baird and Brown reverse that equation I would 100% recommend their services to anyone. Thanks Baird and Brown Great Service, Great Value a pleasure to deal with

Very pleased with the service. Friendly and very punctual. High quality and tidy work. Will highly recommend.

I had a myenergi zappi EV charger installed by Philip and David. I originally contacted them (and a few others) after research of local electricians which specialised in EV charging installations. My installation was quite complex, being on a detached garage so I wanted someone who would understand my requirements. They came to do a survey and recommended the myenergi zappi, which was fitted promptly. The standard of work was very high and they took care to ensure the installation was fully working to my satisfaction.

We're so pleased to have found Baird and Brown to fit our EV charger. From first contact they have been knowledgeable, expert and very helpful. It's been a pleasure to meet two such cheerful, positive and hard-working people. The installation, done at a competetive price, is perfect and all done within 20 days of our initial enquiry.

Great service from Philip and David who spent the day installing a Zappi EV charger and upgrading house and garage consumer units. Hiding the cable run across the front of the house was a bit of a challenge, but no trouble for them! From my very first contact, communication has been excellent and very quick - so much so the charger has beaten the arrival of the car! This is not my experience of other suppliers I contacted before finding Baird and Brown. Thanks guys for the fantastic experience!

Excellent work and professional comms. Left our house cleaner and tidier than they found it! Highly recommended 👍

EV Charger installed today great service great price would recommend

After a very frustrating experience with another EV charging installation company we turned to Baird and Brown in near desperation as even though we didn't know of the company they are local to us - and we are so glad we did! We received replies to enquiries within a couple of hours, our survey was carried out within a day and just a week later the installation was done - quickly, neatly and very professionally. Thank you both.

Professional company from beginning to end. Went through the whole procedure carefully explaining all the options. Were on time, polite and tidy. Would thoroughly recommend them.

Excellent service. Philip and David came to survey the location, offered me advice about the charger and the grant available and quoted for for the cost of installation - all in one visit.

The guys visited my property answering my request to install an EV charger. They were both very friendly and professional. It was clearly explained what was needed and at no time did they try to over sell. On the day of installation they arrived on time and were very tidy and the work was to a very high standard. When they were finished they fully explained what they had done and how everything worked. They were also very good with their price. I have already asked them to do some more work for us. I highly recommend them Guys thank you for a great job and a great service

David and Philip were fantastic throughout. Great professional service and price. I highly recommend them for EV charge point installations.

I contacted Baird and Brown to install a EV charging unit. Right from the beginning they were responsive, informed, friendly and professional. A local business that gave a personal service and an extremely competitive quote. My appointment was made quickly and undertaken cleanly with a very neat outcome. They were keen to ensure that I was well informed and able to use the system once they had left whilst assuring me that I could contact them if I had any questions. Paperwork was efficient and email correspondence was responsive. The whole experience was great and I would have no hesitation in highly recommending Baird and Brown. Thank you David and Philip.

Lovely guys, great professional, clean job. Highly recommend.

I used Baird and Brown because they were recommended by social media. I contacted them and I had a quick response back. They visited my house to assess what I wanted done which were spotlights upstairs, an attic light installed and extra socket in my little girls room. The second visit I asked them to install an outside light and if I could have spotlights in living room. They advised against that and explained the best alternatives. I also complained about my fire alarm system being too sensitive. They advised they can install new fire alarm system that is less sensitive. I agreed on this and all work was undertaken. They are professional, clean and tidy up after themselves really well. Good price on both jobs and I will be using again if I need them and recommend to anyone requiring good electricians at the right price. Baird and Brown are your guys!!

Highly recommend, excellent service and extremely informative chaps.

Thoroughly professional from start to finish with nothing being too much trouble with the installation and excellent follow up support when needed. Recommend without hesitation .

Excellent service. Big thumbs up 👍🏻.
