Crucial Recycling Rubbish Removals

Awful company. If I could give less stars then I would. Gave my friend a quote for a job, my friend then paid the deposit and when they arrived to us they tried to demand more money and then refused to give our deposit back even though the T&C’s state otherwise. Don’t waste your time with this company.

Poor service, we were quoted and a deposit was paid in good faith, that work will be completed. Upon arrival they substantially changed the price, which was originally agreed. They have refused to refund the deposit.

I got a quote from them to do a job clear the garden they asked me for a deposit after agreeing a price then when they come they increased it and I said no now they’re refusing to give me back my deposit

Absolutely awful experience from start to finish. I was originally quoted one price, agreed to the work based on that amount, and paid a deposit. After taking my deposit, the company then increased the price and expected me to simply accept it. When I explained that I couldn’t afford the higher price and therefore wouldn’t be going ahead, I asked for my deposit back. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, their response was dismissive and basically amounted to “cancellation means you lose your deposit.” I’ve used this company before, which makes the way this was handled even more disappointing. You would expect a returning customer to be treated with a little respect and understanding, not spoken to as though they should have known better for questioning a changed price. The whole experience left a very bad impression. Poor communication, poor customer service and a complete lack of willingness to find a reasonable solution. I certainly won’t be using them again and would not recommend them based on this experience.

Couldn’t be happier! I needed a washing machine removing urgently. After being let down by several other removal firms, I was up against an exchange/completion deadline on selling the house. The house sale couldn’t complete until washing machine had been removed from the property. Lee arrived promptly and the whole service I received from booking to removal was very professional. Would definitely recommend this firm!

Avoid!! Last Friday, I paid a 50% deposit of £140 as requested by this company. They told me a worker would be sent within an hour. Three days later, nobody has arrived to do the work on my garden as promised. The company owner, Mr Paul Nyangani has ignored my requests for a refund since. I am now in the process of pushing my claim through the small claims court and have also reported the company owner to Trading Standards. It seems I am not the only person caught up in this scam. FYI - you can find out the company details via Companies House online to report this company and it's owner for anyone who is a victim. The way this company operates is completely immoral, fooling people into handing over their cash and then completely ignoring them. I can only imagine how many vulnerable people they may have scammed already. Mr Paul Nyangani, you are a complete liar. You have ignored my phone calls, WhatsApp messages and emails. I have forwarded this onto the relevant authorities and I will be pursuing you for the £140 you owe. How about you do the honest thing and respond to my request for a refund.

Excellent sevice by Crucial recycling ,they came on the day and on time. Removed my old shed plus other rubbish ,swept up and left everyting clean and tidy.I will certainly recommend them and use them in the future.

Edit: Company claims they dont know me lol. Liars. Invoice & convo attached. Do not pay them a penny. The company and owner Mr Nyangani have a CCJ issued against them and a live warrant out for execution. They gave an invoice, took a deposit, tried to subcontract the job without luck and then refused to return the deposit. They are liars and not really equitable. They themselves are brokers (try to be). DO NOT USE.

I was going to give 4 stars but I'll give 5 since it was same day booking. Initially did say 5pm but changed to 6pm - van was full but the guys didn't refuse to try their hardest to fit my waste in - and they did. I have had another collection company refuse because their van was full which made me a bit apprehensive but these guys did not give up.

Great service. Came same day infact earlier than expected. Just send very clear photos of what you need picking up so there is no confusion later.

Not great. Told us £126 to remove all this waste. Got here and because we added 2 bags they said this is the best they could do… otherwise we have to pay more. Clearly left most things that was in the photo. Plus they were late. Shocking communication too.

Today is the 4th March 2026 after using this company several times I trusted them paid in advance and expected my rubbish removed however they have kept my money and not done the job I will be calling trading standards 125 pounds lost. !!!!!!You can ignore me all you want. After using your services several times how dare you keep my money, not communicate at all and then block someone and think you will get away with not carrying out the service paid for. I have read other reviews of your company not turning up then ripping customers off with deposits. I want my money back you was paid in full in advance due to past experiences and thinking you are a legit company. Because I have stated I am not happy with your lack of communication you have blocked my number and my family and kept my money. Trading standards will be called first thing in the morning to report your company.

Scammers alert!!My wife booked them and paid 50% up front but first two days they never turn up.When they came down and made every excuse to get away and promise to come back but never came back and never answer messages and phone calls.Upon chasing them the man who i recognise came down for collection threatened to my wife and when I took over the phone coward hanged up.We don't let go this behaviour and our money easily.

Excellent service job done in no time

Hi I requested a rubbish removal and was let down both days of supposed arrival, I took 2 days off work staying in to not be contacted or informed I was just promised on each day they were coming. Receptionist was none the wiser of the situation and I was just informed he was either to busy to talk or he keeps cutting the line off on her. So I'm left with all the rubbish and a loss of earnings, grateful I never paid upfront.

I was very down and embarrassed about my huge garden waste problem but these guys came in very strong, capable, friendly and efficient. I am very happy with the pricing and the end result

I called Crucial Recycling shortly before closing time yesterday evening and they arrived at my house at exactly 2pm today as promised. The chap who came was super friendly and efficient. I had a very large pile of tree / bush cuttings which he loaded onto his vehicle and even cleaned up my drive afterwards. The price for the job was really very fair and a lot cheaper than hiring a skip. A brilliant service deserving more than 5 stars

Needed to get rid of years worth of built up clutter and furniture in the garage. Called Crucial Removals and within an hour had a quote and even got rid of everything on the same day! Had a very large unsafe shed removed by two guys they worked really hard had it shifted in a couple of hours after they knocked it down and took it apart nice and friendly both of them

Over the moon with this company. After having too dangerous trees felled and the remains just left (see first pic)by another company, I found it difficult to get anyone to take on the sheer volume left behind.
