Today this company parked a concrete lorry in a way that completely blocked the end of a road, meaning that cars could drive into the road but not get out. The road was one way & there was no signage to warn drivers not to enter the road and no space to turn out or turn off anywhere. Lots of traffic was coming into the road, blocking the entrance & getting stuck. The workers refused to move the vehicle & were not very polite about it, so I called the company - L&S Waste Management. I spoke to John, who said they couldn’t move it. I told him I needed to collect my children from school & they’ve trapped me & other members of the public, he said he couldn’t help. I got a bit panicky & annoyed at this point & said ‘you can’t just trap members of the public & not let them out’ to which he replied ‘don’t raise your voice at me just because you don’t get want you want’!!!!! I think this was absolutely vile given the circumstances they had left us in & extremely patronising. I’m a woman & I wonder if he’d have spoken to a man in the same way. There was an elderly lady in the car behind me who was upset & panicking too as she was trapped. Anyway, I called the police who confirmed they can’t do that & came and moved them on. All I’d say is I’d avoid this horrible company at all costs!!

Our wall got blown over at the end of January , after talking to our insurers we ordered a 6 yard skip on line for delivery on 14th of February (good Valentines Gift FTW). I received a call on the 13th from the driver saying he could drop early if it helped us which it did . The driver placed the skip on the boards supplied in the spot discussed. He even popped round on the 14th to see the decorated skip for the wife apparently I'm a catch for her🤣😂. When we rang to extend the hire and confirm collection date a lovely lady sorted that for us. Today 24th February the skip has been collected by the same driver who delivered it , he asked if the job was completed and by who ( B P Builders) fareham, We've used l&s before dropping off small amounts of rubble when you could at the yard do miss that service please bring it back!. If you need anything from skips to concrete pumping go straight to L&S . Thank you .

Really pleased with the service, ordered floor screed 72 hours before delivery. The office were very helpful, the screed was good quality, still workable 6 hours after delivery. Other than the driver being 1 1/2 hours late and not reading the delivery instructions I have no complaints. I’d certainly recommend and will use again.

Wouldn't reccomend anyone else locally. Never to much hassle and a pleasure to deal with as always. Guy was in and out in 25 mins.

Very easy to deal with whether you decide to book online or speak to a person. I hit a snag that pushed things back and the lovely lady on the phone rearranged things for me right at the minute with zero fuss.

We just had 4 skips and pump and ready mix for extention in Kingsley rd All went extremely well . Good co ordination between everyone and skip driver Brian and the 2 Bens on the pump were credit ti the company. Fantastic service all round would definitly use again and recommend

Great service from booking, to delivery, very friendly and professional. Delivered and collected on time with no issues at all. Would highly recommend to anyone. Also don't try to rip you off with permit costs unlike other skip companies.

Be careful, they have broken GDPR by keeping the last 3 digits of my payment card details, and additionally taken too much payment without authorization. I will be making a formal complaint about them and reporting them for fraudulent removal of funds from my account.

Brilliant service - highly recommend. I needed a skip to remove a lot of dug-up garden earth - the use of the "wheelie-bin comparison" on the website was very helpful in determining the size of skip to order. I rang in to order and confirm the load and the advisor was extremely helpful. On delivery and collection, the driver range ahead prior to arrival and was incredibly helpful and kind. The whole process was remarkably easy and fuss-free. Very happy to recommend and will use again.

Hi Just received my Concrete, the 2 x Bens manning the pump were exceptional in helping me with the pour, there were meticulous in cleaning up afterwards, and you wouldn't know I'd had 5.5m3 of concreate delivered. The Office staff who liaised with me in the purchase and the continuous communication to ensure we were good to go and bumping my time slot up the list.. Well done Team L&S

Unfortunately their website mislead us in to ordering the wrong product. We thought we were ordering a skip that was six foot high as in the picture. The skip that was delivered was not even four foot high, considerably smaller than what we thought we were getting. As I needed to keep the skip to keep to a project timeline I asked if we could have some sort of reimbursement, as we were technically mis-sold a product. L and S waste said they could not do this and if we didn’t want the skip they would just come and collect it. Please update your website so others don’t fall foul of this

I've used companies before to pump concrete into foundations, usually they're messy, unhelpful, fill the trenches and leave you to tidy up. L&S were faultless, from booking right through until they finished hosing down my drive. If you are looking for concrete, your search is over! Will try them for other services too throughout my build.

have used L&S so many times, Grab trucks and skips. Drivers are always really helpful, polite and know how to drive (as in they stick to the tarmac). The booking team are always super helpful and make sure you get the right product ..

Had a phone call to see if i wanted the skip the day before as the driver was going to be coming past on the way back to the depot, also picked up a day early after a phone call from LS to see if it was possible. Rubble drop off easy, great chaps, eventhough confused our campervan for a commercial vehicle!

I am not a builder. So I really had no idea what I was doing with concrete pouring - but L&S made the process simple and easy. Their lorries are able to mix concrete on demand, so you can use as much as you need which was great for me as I had under-estimated by about 25%. The driver was extremely helpful, as were the booking and backroom staff. If you want quality concrete mixed for your project, then you should really consider L&S as your first port of call.

Cannot thank the whole L & S Waste Management team enough. We filled a skip far quicker than anticipated and in order to move the project along in our tight deadlines we needed another skip delivered as soon as possible. The team were incredibly helpful and responsive to dealing with our requests by taking away the full skip and replacing the new skip well within our timeline. Thank you so much! Highly recommend their services, professionalism and general kindness. Would use again!

Great company if you like unsafe lorries who don't give way at roundabouts. There lorry nearly killed me and my family. Next time ill take a tool to the driver.
