I booked the flexiload option and it was so convenient. The timing for pick up was anytime between 7am-7pm so I was bummed that I would have to sit around all day waiting but they called me 20mins before arriving and picked it all up at 8:30am. They gave me a quote on the day and collected everything promptly. Very lovely guys too. If you have big annoying things like a mattress or heavy furniture and don’t have a car or means to dispose it, this is a perfect service. Pricey but worth it.

Charged extra for footstool which was part of the sofa, never told that it would be extra to get rid of it. And wanted to take my front door off but managed to get the sofa through. They were friendly and on time.
Both the guy's who came arrived on time, they were very friendly and cheerful. They removed a lot of waste and were very kind with putting a side items that would cost extra to remove rather than just taking them and then charging us more. I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them again.

What can I say about Zero Waste Group Rubbish Removal? Well let me start by saying that they arrived ahead of their scheduled arrival time which was perfectly ok with me as I wasnt going anywhere. The two gentlmen who came were so polite and a joy to speak to. They wernt in no hurry like some people are and gave up a little of their time to speak to me which I need right now due to some hard times Im going through at the moment. I will definitely use Zero Waste again and hope to see the same two guys once more.

The two chaps turned up, having phoned to say they were 20 mins away. They were very pleasant and polite. I was impressed by how hard they worked during the hottest day of the year so far. Very pleased with whole arrangement from booking to completion of job and that this company provide a waste transfer note. Only downside that no delivery time could be given without an extra payment but I did get a 45 minute notice phone call. Will use again!

A bit of a mixed bag to be honest. They only sent one man for what was clearly a two man job (as evidenced by the photos and videos) I'd sent them. Meaning my father-in-law, who was there to greet them, had to help the one man who did turn up a lot of heavy items down three flights of stairs. Far from ideal. Initially the situation was handled badly when I rang to find out how this had happened. But subsequently I received a call from the Director at the company who apologised for their mistake and promised to make good on their failings (which he did). Just make sure you confirm how many people will be attending the job, and don't just assume there will be two in attendance.

The only company willing to climb the stairs in a block of flats (no lift in my block) to take away old furniture! The booking process was very easy. The price is reasonable. On the day I got a call 10 mins before they arrived. The furniture was collected quickly by two friendly chaps. I will definitely use them again for any other furniture I will need removed in the future.

The workers did a great job! I expected to be waiting all day, but luckily they arrived at 8:20 am. They sent me a message saying they were close, so I had time to be ready to open the door!
Turned up when they said they would, took the rubbish away no issues, would recommend.
Three bed house clearance. Easy to book, once I'd spoken to the office it was much clearer what they would do, how, what they could take, and charges etc. Guys were on time, informative, cleared up. The only issue is they had no tools to take apart furniture/minimize it except a couple of screwdrivers, nor did they have any means to clear up. It was lucky I had a hammer, crowbar, broom and dustpan and brush available, and borrowed a saw from a neighbour. The chargeable load (first load that had to go to a specific dump for disposal) had to go to Millwall from Upminster, which was about a 3 hour return trip. The next two loads went to Barking, which was better.
Easy booking online, clear instructions. Estimated pick up time given when requested. On the day, phoned half hour before collection as agreed. Earlier collection time given, but still gave us plenty of time to clear obstructions. The 2 men were polite, professional yet cheerful & friendly. They took their shoes off in the house so not to muddy the carpets. We had trouble taking the sofa apart but the men completed it for us, without fuss. Very quick completion time, cleared everything away. Very pleased with the service, & the chaps who collected the sofa.

Great service, polite, easy to book and on time. My only criticism is the price, hence 4 stars instead of 5. The disposal of the memory foam mattresses cost more than their purchase price so it doesnt encourage people not to just put them in their household rubbish. Other than that I was pleased with the service.

The service was exemplary, they came within an hour of booking the job on line, the operatives were very polite and took the sofa apart for me. My only gripe would be the cost but then you get what you pay for.
The guys turned up nice and early. There was no fuss; they took great care as they took the mattress downstairs, then out of the door and they were away. The whole process was less than 10 minutes.

These guys are AMAZING!!!! Just incredible service. Sensitive and thoughtful, because sometimes it's really hard getting rid of stuff, but they make it SO easy!! I would recommend them without hesitation. If you have any piles of things you need to get rid of then give them a call! AND lots of it's going for rehoming, recycling, reusing... just great. Had no problem with the stair turning and low overhead dropped ceiling (above staircase) - out the door in seconds, didn't have to take the 6 foot freezer apart! No stars for accounts, who disbelieved me when I said I had already paid the call out charge. Amount showed as pending on my bank app - but it wasn't "on her system", so she claimed I hadn't paid it. Could not have made the booking without this request for £55 - which she must be aware of? If not, then she needs to be told!

I submitted the requested list of what we wanted removed and provided photos. When the removers arrived, they explained they couldn't take many of the items because they weren't included in what I'd paid for. So the list and photos hadn't been considered. Misleading.

I was very disappointed to find that the furniture was just going to the tip. I thought you gave to a charity or re homed I also expect a closed van. Men were nice enough but wouldn't remove shoes and it was wet so we removed all furniture to the door. The price was double just adding 2 bed bases and one mattress and i had a flexy load which they were expecting everything apart from the bed bases and one mattress. We also had to assist loading the van. Would not use them again

They offer same day delivery which was a Godsend due to the fact another supplier dumped my new fridge in my communal hallway and I was desperate to resolve the issue. DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS. I am a google local guide and I implore you to stay well away from these con men. They severely damaged my floor. They sent in two men who did not even bring in a screw driver between them. They brought NO tools with them- not one. They hacked away aimlessly at my fridge ,(with screw drivers that they borrowed from me!!) dragged it out and damaged my floor in the process. Their representative Edward will not reply to any of my emails or calls . They breached the contract that was in place between business and client. Absolute scum. Please please do not pay for these idiots.

I received excellent service from Jes and Darren after booking a house clearance through Zero Waste. They were very careful not to damage walls or paintwork when clearing the house despite some of the furniture being quite difficult to move. I use this company to clear my parents flat after losing my mum and moving my dad into retirement accommodation. They had been married for 71 years and therefore accumulated an incredible amount of ornaments and everything else. My father only took a small amount of furniture for his new flat wanting a less cluttered environment. They were very honest with the quote giving me a cost between two points, as a clearance was quite short notice. Initially the quote was for two vans it took complete third van to clear everything from the flat and yet they stuck to their original maximum quote which I found very impressive. The staff doing the clearance were very respectful and worked extremely hard, tidying up after themselves. Quite a lot of the furniture had been constructed by my father and almost built into the flat and once again they remove this and the many shelves and ornament displays from the walls. It's nice to know that they will recycle as much as possible. The images show a couple of the rooms after and before the clearance showing the magnitude of the task! The cupboards were also full of stuff as well! I would have taken me weeks and many trips to the tidy tip just to get rid of the small stuff - I would not have managed the larger furniture.... There was too much to take on the initial day and so within minutes I have the office on the phone to quickly arrange another van and day to clear the rest of the stuff a few days later - limited by my availability and not theirs.
I booked a two hour slot and the van arrived within it. They even called ahead to let me know that they were coming. They cleared the unwanted items efficiently and carefully. They were also nice guys. So top marks.

The men came at the time stated and removed a particularly difficult bed settee that had been damaged. They removed the inner workings and were able to manoeuvre it, unlike the removal men the previous day! They also removed a washing machine which was also problematic because of the way it had been plumbed in. They were only in the house for about 25 minutes but were really efficient and very friendly. I can’t recommend this company enough.

The 2 men arrived at the time they said but from the outset seemed to disagree how best to remove my armchair and sofa. They started to move them down the hall without first removing the many pictures there and seemed annoyed at having to do so. In the process one large picture was knocked off the wall and the glass broke. They removed some of the glass fragments but left me to sweep up Eventually both pieces were dismantled as far as possible and moved outside. This was quite an unpleasant experience and at £149 quite expensive

Very efficient and friendly team. I tried several websites, not pleasant experiences. The first time didn’t get through to Zero Waste, but was called back soon. The quote was reasonable and I didn’t have to wait for long. The whole process was quite professional, information was correctly recorded. Steve and his mate did what they promised to do and quite flexible as well. Very satisfied .

I initially called the Zero Waste Group, for a quote, described the bulky waste which was two large seater sofas (which can fit three adults) I needed removing. It's actually really refreshing to talk to a real person, not an answer machine or pre- recorded message and prompts I was given a quote which wss very reasonable and competitive. The following week I called to book a date, was able to pay using my card details over the phone. Gavin called to notify me he was about an hour away. Then both Gavin and William arrived just when I was expecting them. They were both friendly, professional, humorous with smiles all around, made me feel comfortable and at ease. I showed them the options for both extractions, and they went the back terrace way. Which happened to be my preferred way over the terrace railing, down to the public footpath below, carried a short distance back over another railing, and straight in to the van. They made it look easy, and that it was no bother, great guys. Thank you so much I really appreciate your help. Definitely would recommend to family and friends, this was so easy to set up. Wish more companies were like the Zero Waste Group. Well done!

Disappointed with the service and a bunch of liars. I booked for a waste clearage and although most of the waste was removed, I witnessed some of the waste being put in our residential bins. When I reported this to Zero Waste, they denied it and said the waste I booked for clearance was more than what they removed. They already proved to be dishonest about using residential bins to clear the waste so I did/do not believe a word that they say.

I was expecting two teams and two vehicles for end to end service. 1st vehicle arrived half full from another job, that vehicle left and didn’t return. 2nd vehicle completed two loads. At one point that vehicle was being directed to another job with mine to be left unfinished. Fortunately this didn’t happen and my job was completed the same day. Can’t fault Paul and Gary on site, both professional and polite.

Super easy to book a removal on the website, I was able to book a next day collection and received confirmation by email straight away. The next day, the team called 30 mins ahead of their arrival and they were respectful of my property, ensuring they wouldn’t cause any damage to the walls when they were removing the sofa. The 2 guys that turned up were absolutely brilliant 🤩. They took everything for me and I spoke to their office because I got delayed and the receptionist gave me their location and let them know I was running late . I found them on clear waste app so you know it’s going to be taken to a proper waste site . Unprofessional and overpriced service. Arrived with an unsuitable van for bulky waste and charged £900 for just 30 minutes of work and around 10 items. I was considering ongoing business, but after this, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
I booked a flexible pick up rate for garden clearance as I wasn't sure how much there was. Two men arrived, were very polite, checked the area and I was then contacted immediately by head office with a price which I accepted. Garden was cleared quickly and efficiently. Was pleased with the service from start to finish - would recommend and would use again.

From booking over the phone with Edward to the guys turning up to take the items, everything went very smoothly. They phoned me to say they were on their way, were respectful of the property (a top floor flat in a retirement complex) and advised us what they could recycle and what they couldn't. I have never used a service like this before, but would not hesitate to use Zero Waste Group again and would recommend them. I made a few enquiries with different companies and Zero Waste Group rates are very competitive but more importantly they were reliable and did exactly what was agreed.

Unfortunately, they arrived an hour later than expected, which wasn’t ideal, especially given the two-hour time slot booked. However, they did eventually inform me of their updated arrival time, which was appreciated. Once on site, they efficiently cleared all the rubbish, and I was glad to know that as much of it as possible would be recycled. The two guys with the van were very friendly and worked quickly, which helped make up a little for the initial delay.

Was told that a team had been booked to carry out the waste removal from my property however on the day only 1 person turned up and I had to help with the heavy loading. I raised this upon recieving my invoice however there was no apologies made nor adjustment made to the cost despite having to do a fair share of the work. Would not recommend!!!

The guys turned up in good time to get parked and prepared for the job, and they cleared out everything without needing any help from me. It all happened quite quickly too. A very busy experience for the driver who arrived on his own with a partially filled truck so he had to make two trips to the waste clearance site in Portsmouth with an accumulation of waste requiring removal after some 17 to 22 years - very well done indeed..

Efficient pick up of a dismantled bed and mattress but the removal was confirmed for 8.00 to 13.00 which did not happen. The guys eventually came mid afternoon after I rang to ask what had happened and was told I would be next on their round. Hence the 3 stars.
Fantastic! Our new sofa's were due on Tuesday, do we arranged collection of our old sofa's and armchair for the Monday. The sofa company phoned and said the new sofa's were arriving Saturday, so I phoned zero waste group back and explained the situation, Amy or Sarah managed to squeeze us in as an emergency, Paul and Gary took our furniture away. I live in Basingstoke ,and given they are not based in Basingstoke they charged me £79.00 inc VAT , I contacted a firm IN Basingstoke,they quoted £280.00 plus VAT for the same number of items and volume.

We used Zero waste group to have an old surgery chair removed from our dental clinic. They were very helpful and kept in contact via phone and email to confirm pick up times. The team were very friendly when first booking the collection and were very reasonably priced considering the size and weight of the chair.

The two gentlemen who came to collect my sofa were polite and prompt. Once they arrived at my house, they asked if I wanted them to take their shoes off, showing care of my space. They collect the sofa quickly with no issues. I would 100% use this company again if there was ever a need to, and will be recommending them to anyone who needs any furniture or rubbish removed.

I had some furniture to donate to charities, but my flat is high up so they said they could not collect it. Zero Waste have no problem with this and were able to collect it quickly with no fuss. They will make sure it goes to good use.
This is my second time using ZWG and I am very pleased with the service. The fifth star would have been given if there had been communication between the people coming to collect and the company; the company did not inform the collection team of what they would be collecting and I felt concerned that they would not have brought a big enough van; they left a large item, due to this. I cannot fault the people who came to collect - thank you so much.

Ordered a medium load but ended up needing more, which wasn’t a problem when I agreed to pay the extra to upgrade to a large load. The guys in the van (more a truck!) took the waste with a good grace. 5 mins later I received a call from their office, paid an extra £102 and all done. Happy with the service, would use again.

After being let down by charities initially interested in items of furniture, I contacted zero waste. Easy to use online booking system and next day collection for man with van, made this a quick and easy process. A deposit secured the job and the team calculated on the day of collection the actual space taken up, therefore ensuring that you weren't over charged. A fantastic service and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to carry out a house clearance, no matter how big or small.

Very efficient to book and the removal of the item (sofa) was done very efficiently and painlessly. HOWEVER the rating is massively reduced by the fact that when I booked I was told they would be with me around 11.30. When I phoned during the morning I was told closer to 1pm. In fact they arrived at around 4pm meaning I basically lost the whole day. Had they been there, even by 1, it would have been 5 stars.

Paid for the service online, they phone back after payment has gone through and cancelled the date I booked,. Arrange now for next day, driver calls me up tells me they are at site, we arrange someone to go meet them but they leave and no answer when calling back. Paid for the service upfront and they refuse to pay me back in full trying to charge a call out fee but no collection made. Avoid at all costs

I would highly recommend, They gave me a 2hr window for arrival, called me 30 mins before arrival and nothing was too much when the guys turned up. The whole experience was simple and well done, we had waste to remove from a catering site, they arrived on time, removed all the items... it was cheaper than hiring a skip and they provide 2 staff to remove everything for you ... I would definately reccomend and would definately use again

I was kept informed of what time they would arrive and when that time changed. They told me where to take bits to dispose of so as not to go in to a second drop. Used all the space in the van by fitting smaller bits in around the bigger bits. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone that needs a skip to try EasyBin instead
