I wanted an alternative to hiring a skip. I went with Berkshire Clearance Services after getting a quote was quick and effortless, and their pricing was competitive and included the service of loading the tipper. The team were friendly, professional and personable, throughout. They left the place absolutely spotless after the collection and I had a very positive experience with them. Highly recommend their services

Doing up a house so had a large garage full of the ripped out kitchen, carpets and other junk from the house. Was going to hire a skip but would have taken over a week and cost slightly more. Great comms and came quickly. Team friendly and efficient, clearing the garage and loading vehicle with rubbish. Glad used and will use again.
Replied very quickly, were able to do the collection the next morning, arrived on time and politely took my large patio door pane of glass.

OUTSTANDING BRILLIANT SERVICE. I needed a van load taking away due to a bereavement, I called or emailed 3 companies only this company came back to me. I was doing all this from Devon. Berkshire Clearance Services did a great job helping my parents clear a piece of land containing old timber, trailers and other waste. Shane visited beforehand to assess the work, completed the clearance efficiently and was very flexible when a few changes were requested along the way. The company provided excellent service, was easy to deal with and offered good value for money on what turned out to be quite a complex job. Highly recommended.

Amazing workmanship by Berkshire clearance team. Short notice call out, running out of time. Sent photo enquiries, they sent someone withing hours to come take a look. Gave me a quote on the spot, guys appeared in under an hour and 3 hours later, it was all done to a really good standard. I can't fault these guys and how hardworking the team were on the day. They get the job done with no fussing about.

Used Berkshire Clearance Services, and they provided a prompt, efficient services to remove approximately 1tonne of soil / bricks. Brett and Tremaine were fantastic, polite and even took some other rubbish from the drive. Would recommend.
Large job needed building waste clearing with little notice the guys arrived, all gone in 30 minutes and swept and washed everything down. Super quick, efficient and very polite. They deserve a six star rating.

Berkshire Clearance Services, were recommended on the West Berkshire Council website, so I contacted them by e-mail and received a prompt response and very reasonable price. I phoned to book a delivery and again a prompt response and very flexible collection options. On delivery day I was called in advance to confirm the arrangement and was also notified when they were 30 minutes away, which I found very helpful. The items for collection were mixed household waste and were located, inside the house, in the garden and the garage, which was no problem for them. The 2 guys were polite and friendly and quickly removed my unwanted goods. I have no hesitation in recommending Berkshire Clearance Services and would will them again, for all the above reasons.

Super efficient waste removal service. BCS turned up at the agreed upon time, the lads were courteous and got to work straight away. I wasn't sure how long it would take but they were certainly quicker than I had thought. Great service received and would recommend.

Shane and his team did an amazing emergency clearance for us following the collapse of a large section of garden wall. They cleared greenery and security fencing in almost pitch black conditions, working into the night to clear a side road for our neighbours. Back first thing to clean up. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

The guys at berkshire clearance services were impeccable we run a funeral service in Reading and needed to dispose of a un required coffin, they were able to get out to us the same day with impeccable timing and even contacted me to advise of traffic and that they may be slightly late, even with the traffic they turned up the agreed time. Called on short notice on 23rd Dec to get some stuff cleared out. Shane came out and saw me within 20 minutes of calling and was happy to start getting rid but unfortunately i had a rusted over lock so couldn't start on the day. He suggested that his team could visit today (24th Dec) early morning to get everything removed. His lads came and were very professional and happily removed everything i requested and were done in less than 20 minutes. Very quick and efficient. Would recommend to anyone. Just for reference for anyone thinking about prices, I had a mixed load of general waste, some old plasterboard (from a collapsed ceiling due to water damage), an old mattress, some paint cans and the total came out to just over £400. Also as an FYI, I've used Berkshire Clearance Services last year and the year before to clear out some excess waste and both times they were good which is exactly why I called them up again this year.
Honestly one of the best services I’ve come across. The team are super friendly and so quick. Everything was removed within 5 minutes, and I didn’t have to lift a finger. Highly recommend this service to anyone needing their recycling removed.

We had a Builder carry out some work in our house. I needed to get rid of the rubbish. I phoned Berkshire Clearance Services this afternoon, They arrived within the hour and cleared all the waste, including Wood, Plasterboard, Carpet and bags of rubble also we had a bulk bag of green waste that was left from cutting the hedge which they also took away. What a fantastic company to work with. I can’t recommend Shane and his team enough. Timing from my initial enquiry to completion of the job was less than a week. This included a visit to quote, confirmed date and time to collect working around my busy schedule (arriving perfectly on time I may add), and clearance of our garden rubbish which included lots of heavy concrete. Provided an email with pictures of the waste that needed removing. Only to find out on the day that the quote provided couldn't complete the work I asked to take place. Spoke to Shane who provided me with a quote after visiting my rental property (i believe the next day.) He agreed to completely clear out the whole house. Excellent service - couldn't have asked for more! I emailed the company on a Thursday. Got a quote 30 mins later - was competitively priced compared to others. Shane explained how it would work - that the quote was based on my volume estimates, but that they can confirm when they arrived and let me know if it's any more. Shane and another person arrived the next day, at the time they said they would, and confirmed the estimate was correct. Loaded the truck in 5 mins and tidied up. Were super polite & professional - even to neighbours walking by! Got the paperwork and the invoice 2 mins later. Payment was through an online invoicing service (Xero) that accepted Apple Pay. I was absolutely floored by how smoothly everything went. My old wooden shed was barely hanging on, so I figured I’d take advantage of the five minutes of summer we get to replace it. Initially, I thought I’d rent a mini skip, roll up my sleeves, and tackle the job myself. That is, until I reached out to Berkshire Clearance Services. For the price of a 4-yard skip from other companies, two gents showed up right on schedule, disassembled the shed, cleaned up, and vanished in under 30 minutes. If that wasn’t impressive enough, they even managed to drink the coffee I made them—and the cups were still warm when they left. Although, I might have made the coffee a bit strong...

Very pleased. We've had a pile of old wood and stuff (the remains of a children's play-house) in our garden for ages. Too big for the usual channels but not enough to justify a skip. Phoned BCS and after providing my phone details they sent a message detailing the services and pricing. It was then simply a case of replying to the message with the requirements (ie book a collection and suggesting a time and date) and address and email details. I then received a prompt response confirming the collection and they then confirmed the final price on arriving at the property. They also provide you with a certificate (which you are legally obliged to keep for 2 years) of disposal, so it's all legit and professional. Highly recommended, they were absolutely brilliant - prompt responses, professional service and pretty reasonable pricing. Really appreciate all their help and excellent service, especially considering it was all done at pretty short notice on my part. Many thanks for all your help!

Fantastic service from start to finish. My wife and I needed an old sofa to be removed quickly. When I called, Shane explained that a text would be sent with a breakdown of the fee and terms and confirmed that the job could be carried out the following day. Shane and his colleague arrived promptly, were very polite and tidy and removed the sofa in less than a minute. All in all, a very impressive service. Invoice sent via email and easy to pay using credit/debit card or bank transfer. Would recommend thoroughly.

Wow! If only all companies operate like this. From the initial call for a quote, to a visit shortly after to survey all that needed to be done (clearing out sheds, removing one and a greenhouse too) to completion, everything went exactly to time and like clockwork. Pictures taken by Shane at the start and finish as I couldn't be on site for the clearance itself. Everything is thought of to make it as hassle free as possible to the customer AND of course, you get the all important waste transfer note to show it has all been disposed of legally, a really important factor. Contacted them on Sunday evening, received a response within an hour and appointment on Monday 9am! They cleared my driveway full of junk within 10 mins for a reasonable price - cheaper and more convenient than hiring a skip!
I used BCS to dispose of a large amount of waste items left over from a house clearance that I had to do in Reading. They were polite, efficient and charged a very reasonable price compared to other companies as well as leaving everything tidy. Refused their service when the guy verbally arranged on Monday that he would visit the site on Tuesday (22/09/2020) at 11am. Someone turned up today (Wednesday 23/09/2020) at 13:00. He then outright refused to wear a mask despite it being mandatory in shops, scoffing at my request. Don't fancy paying a company who turn up 26 hours late and scoffs at the idea of wearing a mask which would be protecting their work force and my staff members in such a difficult time where spreading disease is a big issue.

I hired Shane and his team to clear out my late mothers house prior putting it on the market. There was quite a bit of stuff left over after the family had taken what they wanted and I was scratching my head over how to get rid of what was left. After a quick Google search I called Shane at BCS. He immediately put my mind at rest, agreeing a time to meet with a view to getting going straight away; if we could agree a price. This achieved and the go-ahead given, I gave them a key and they worked for two full days taking at least five van loads for sorting. The rubbish was disposed of and recycled properly and anything worth re-using was donated to an Alzheimers Society. The house was professionally cleaned and was immaculate once the job was complete. Throughout. what was, a potentially upsetting process Shane and his team were, friendly, ethical and courteous at all times and I have no hesitation in recommending them highly. They took the problem out of my hands and, for that, I am extremely grateful.

I contacted Shane at Berkshire Clearance Services to help clear rubble from our lockdown garden makeover. He was very prompt in his response and came round the same day to quote for the job (whilst respecting social distancing requirements). Shane and his team were able to come within two days and removed everything quickly and carefully. I was also provided with an explanation of how the rubble was going to be responsibly dealt with, which was a great reassurance. Needed to get rid of a significant amount of garden waste and the council refuse centre was shut due to COVID-19. Polite, efficient and left no mess what so ever, even after emptying the waste into the back of their truck from the sacks I had used. Thank you for the excellent service I received on Saturday. I had an old wardrobe that I was planning to take to the tip, however, after getting halfway down the road, parts of the wardrobe was falling out of the boot into the road, the wardrobe was too long for the car. Berkshire clearance services happened to be driving past at the time of need, and without any questions asked, they were kind enough to take the waste from my car. BCS are fantastic! This is the second time I have used them to clear waste from my grandmother's garden & house and on both occasions they came out the same day (despite me calling on the off chance that day whilst visiting from out the area) & took the stuff away. These guys are great! Shane replied to my first query within an hour, and from start to finish the service was excellent. On removal day they arrived on time and were really polite and friendly.
