GS Roofing was instructed to investigate and repair a specific leak. However, instead of properly identifying the source of the issue, they carried out work on a different pipe that was not causing the leak. The work completed was therefore unnecessary and failed to resolve the problem. The actual leaking pipe remained unrepaired. Their report appears generic and does not reflect a proper inspection or accurate diagnosis of the fault. When this was challenged, the explanation provided was that the works had been carried out by younger, less experienced individuals who were not sufficiently knowledgeable. This is not an acceptable justification. It is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure that any personnel sent to site are competent and properly supervised. Furthermore, the cost charged was significantly higher than expected, particularly given that the works were carried out on the wrong area. This raises serious concerns regarding both the quality of workmanship and the professional standards applied. Overall, the service provided was inadequate, failed to resolve the issue, and resulted in additional time, inconvenience, and cost to rectify the problem correctly.

Very happy with works carried out by experienced roofers, who knew their stuff. Site was left clean & tidy, after works were completed. Job was priced & completed in a short space of time, after being let down by other roofing contractors in the area. Would highly recommend and will be using again if the need arises, will be passing details into family & friends who require roofing works
