We needed to remove the open cell spray foam from the inside of our roof and have new Knauf mineral wool insulation installed in April 2026 They company were so supportive in helping us sort out what we needed to do. The team who came can't be more highly recommended. and were amazing. They were always on time; and were so hard working given the challenges of the task. They kept to the schedule and finished on time. Even more impressively they cleared everything up and the roof access area was left immaculate. Highly recommended

The team were great, they explained everything that would happen, the team arrived on time and worked all day clearing the loft of the foam. They were really friendly and polite. Having had quotes from high pressure salesman, Harrison from Countrywide was a breath of fresh air. He was professional, knowledgeable, well prepared, friendly, and reassuring. After doing some test patches Harrison provided a quote and said there was no rush to accept it. He said the quote would be confirmed in writing together with copies of the waste licence and insurance later that day and we could just ring up when we were ready to accept. Tim accepted the instruction and deposit payment over the phone the next day and Colin rang to confirm the start date and the names of the guys doing the work. Tim & Colin were both as professional, friendly, and reassuring as Harrison. Steve & George turned up on time, 05.00 to avoid the worst of the heat and worked without stopping for 8 hours, cleaning up before they left each day and completing the job in 2 days as opposed to the scheduled 3. Steve and George were friendly, respectful, and considerate of me and the neighbours and did an excellent job, inviting me to inspect at various stages and explaining how they removed the foam from the eaves and how they were going to dispose of it. Harrison said Nationwide was a family firm and that’s very clear from my dealing with everyone on site and in the office, everyone takes pride in their work, respects the customers, and offers great value.

Saved from a spray foam nightmare - in the midst of selling our house we discovered previously installed spray foam insulation. The brakes went on and the estate agents panicked. I called Countrywide and spoke to Aidy, who was cool, calm, collected and reassuring. He was knowledgeable and put me at ease immediately. Fast forward 2 weeks and a very reasonable quote later, the scaffolding is up, I have have received step by step communication and updates from Nick & Millie. Building control is all taken care of. Darrick began work the following week, he was polite, professional and very considerate of noise / mess. He and his team completed the work to a higher standard than expected in the exact time frame quoted. I could not have asked for a better service, we are so pleased with the work and mostly with the fantastic team who guided us through it. I read horror stories about spray foam removal cowboys, that is NOT Countrywide! I will recommend them to anyone and everyone, they were superb!!

We needed spray foam insulation removed from our late Mums house in preparation for our late mum's house sale, and from start to finish, Countrywide Roofing provided an excellent service. They made contact within hours of my initial enquiry, and a surveyor visited the property the very same day. The inspection was carried out thoroughly, and the quote was provided both on-site and by email without delay. The price was very competitive, and the work scheduled for the following week. Every member of staff we dealt with was polite, helpful, and efficient. The three guys who carried out the work were particularly friendly, professional and sympathetic to our situation, which was greatly appreciated during a difficult time. The work was completed to a high standard, all waste was removed promptly, and the property left clean and tidy. All follow up paperword was issued quickly and within the agreen timescales. We used Countrywide Roofing and Insulation for a re-roof to remove closed cell spray foam insulation. They did an excellent job and delivered the works at the quoted price without any hidden costs. It’s a worry. You have to remove the foam for all the known reasons, you know there will be disruption and there are the inevitable “cowboys” out there just waiting to rip you off. One acquaintance of mine was quoted between £17K and £70K !!!!!! for the same job. Happily, Countrywide were recommended to us by a previous customer and we had no regrets in choosing them for our project. Countrywide are a well established company used to dealing with awkward houses like mine. The process is straightforward. An assessor comes to your house and gathers data, measurements etc which is passed to their head office and an all inclusive price and starting date worked out and agreed. Whilst not the cheapest it was certainly not the most expensive and we were happy to accept. The 4 week job went like clockwork. When 2 workers were ill, replacements were drafted in. Workers were respectful and diligent under the control of Martin the project manager. Inevitably some were more efficient than others but Jordan, Rhys and Ricky were notable for their flexibility and commitment and Keenan and his roofing team were truly exceptional. Countrywide as a company has been outstanding to deal with. There have been no nasty surprises (especially financial), the standard of work has been excellent but most of all they have eased our worries. You know what you are getting and you can’t put a price on peace of mind. Our sincere thanks go to everyone we dealt with.

From start to finish my parents have been pleased with the service from Countrywide Roofing and insulation, the initial meeting was informative and they were reassured that the open cell foam they had installed only two years ago could be removed easily and within the alloted timeframe needed. On the day the team came Steve and Brendon arrived on time, worked a long day, were polite and kept them informed as to how the removal was going, they cleaned up after themselves and removed all of the open cell foam along with the insulation (which was replaced) after the work had been completed. We had our spray foam insulation removed. From getting a quote to completion , the customer service team were efficient and kept us updated via phone and email. Ashley was very prompt at coming out and surveying the job beforehand. Was open and honest, even went the extra mile to keep an available slot open for us as they were booked up for the next few weeks. The two guys that came and completed the job were friendly and left the house at an acceptable standard .

Used this company after many months research and several companies cold-calling. Initial contact was via an online form, and we received a call back within the hour. Two days later, a surveyor came and gave us a detailed account of the work which would be required to remove foam from our roof, along with a comprehensive invoice of costs involved. After payment of a deposit, the work was scheduled for two weeks later. On the first day, a three man team arrived, and worked solidly for the next two days, ensuring our home was treated with respect. As the work was completed, all the foam and debris was removed, and after laying new insulation, our landing/stairs/hall were cleaned. We were shown photos of the roof and space and asked if we had any questions or concerns. The three young men who worked on our home were friendly and highly professional.Thank you. Our final invoice arrived the following day by email. We cannot recommend this company highly enough, from initial enquiry, through to completion of the work, we were kept informed throughout, and were contacted by emails/calls. The thought of having this work done, was daunting, but we are pleased at our choice of company.

A great team who kept us informed all the way through the process. As an estate agent I have used Countrywide to get homes ready for sale and I’ve also used them personally for my grandparents home after they were scammed into installing spray foam in 2021! Everyone we met was caring and understanding, as most people who have spray foam are understandably wary about being scammed again, especially on such a big purchase. We received multiple quotes for the removal by different companies, one of whom identified the foam as the wrong kind and quoted for a whole new roof! After receiving this I knew we needed to get Countrywide out to have a look and give us their honest opinion, and that they did. Removal took a couple of days as expected, the removal team were tidy and cleaned up as they went along, taking away all the rubbish with them when they left. They even patched up the roof lining which had been ripped by the previous company when carrying out their tests for a quote. Would highly recommend this team to anyone unfortunate enough to be stuck with spray foam in their homes. Despite other companies telling us not to go with country wide as they would charge us extra, we are happy we did. STAY WELL CLEAR!!! Do Not use this company. They have caused more damage than good to my property resulting in lots of issues causing thousands and they will not take liability. The person on the phone called me and was so unbelievably RUDE and Obnoxious who hung up on me and said See ya. Very unprofessional and common. I am taking matters to the Ombudsman as a local roofing company confirmed this company did a poor job and damaged my roof causing further problems! STAY WELL CLEAR!

I can't recommend Countrywide highly enough. I had my roof retiled by someone who didn’t do a very good job, so I ended up having to get the whole thing done again. Craig, and the team came to the rescue and sorted everything out. I contacted country Road a couple of weeks ago as I have a lot of spray foam insulation in my house if I need to get rid of now they were quick To come and give me a coat and arrange to do the job at a very reasonable price (almost £2000 less than a normal alternative quote). The guy who came Were werevery personable. I got up with a job very early and stuck with it all day. They’re very tidy sweeping up after it gone left the house speak span after they finished. Recommend them very highly.

Harrison came inspected the loft and informed me of what work needed to be done to make the loft acceptable, for house sale in the future, how long it would take and the cost. At no point did Harrison push me to make a purchase of their service. Three hard working men made right a very bad job. They also put down additional insulation. Throughout their work they took photos and videos. On arrival Shaun, Mike & Vinny introduced themselves to me, they were professional, friendly, polite & courteous, kept me up-to-date and they were very tidy. We had a good experience with Countrywide who removed open cell spray foam from our loft and would highly recommend them. They were very professional throughout and the job was well managed. Removal itself was done reasonably quickly over 2 days. They surveyed the loft and gave a competitive quote before undertaking the work, and provided a certificate showing the spray foam had been removed following.

I recently had Open Cell spray foam removed from my 70m2 loft. I was lucky to get a cancelation date and it was confirmed on Friday for Monday start. It did not start on Monday due to another job taking a little longe. I was not happy as I took 3 days off annual leave. The two guys Adam and Luke came on Tuesday morning following a call to the office. I was apprehensive as there is so many cowboys out there. The job took almost 3 days and another guy Martin came to support. Both Adam and Luke was polite and gave update everyday. They cleaned up thr mess after each day, placed protective cover on my stairs. I was unhappy as I had to take extra time off work for the job to be completed. I raised this to the office and they apologised and stated its in the contract. I made payment and was sent my portfolio certificate the same day. This company is legit to have the job completed for mortgage and selling purpose. Luke and Adam were wonderful, polite and courteous being in my home. The downside was hearing calls whilst they was working in my loft to get it done quicker. I was upset with this as it was clear they took pride in making sure the job was completed to a high standard for passing and knowing their next job was 2hrs away traveling which was unfair when they only finished around 3pm

I hired Countrywide, after reading several reviews of their work elsewhere, to remove the foam insulation in my loft - a job I couldn’t envisage doing myself. Their team of three duly arrived at the appointed time - slightly earlier in fact - and immediately got down to the task. They catered for themselves, so there was no running around providing teas and coffees, cleared up well after each day’s work, and completed the task in the time allotted with minimum fuss, noise or mess. It was a most impressive job in all respects. True, they could have spent a further hour or more clearing up more of the small bits of foam that were lodged in corners and crevices but overall, the work they did was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for work of this nature.

From start to finish, Countrywide were professional, friendly, and carried out a first class job within the timeframe stated and with minimum stress to my wife and I. Several years ago, we had spray foam put in our roof space. After watching the One Show and reading all the negative reports we soon realised this was a mistake and knew the foam had to be removed before any further damage. Whilst we have no intention of selling the property we did not want to leave the problem for our children to resolve. I contacted Countrywide Roofing and Insulation, who responded to my inquiry the following working day. Ash travelled from Kent to our home in Derby to carry out the onsite survey. He provided us with a no pressure quote and answered all our questions. Before the work began, I did my own thorough research. Having been mislead in the beginning I wanted to know that the company I was asking to remove the foam would not let me down. My mind was finally put at ease when I found Countrywide were listed on the Federation of roofers who had no issues in recommending the company. The job was completed within 2.5 days, the bagged foam was removed daily from site, new insulation laid and the lads left our home clean and tidy each day before leaving. From start to finish I would have no hesitation in recommending Countrywide. All staff were very pleasant and professional.

Ash came to inspect our loft after a cold call salesman gave us a ridiculous quote and lied to us. Ash quoted a much better price and got the installation booked in. Sam and Paul did the work and they were friendly, professional and hard working. In 2 days they completely removed all the spray foam insulation, put down an extra layer of insulation, completely tidied the loft and cleaned up everything after themselves. Really happy with the work and glad our spray foam nightmare is over.

Booked Countrywide to remove spray insulation from our Attic. Immediate response to initial enquiry. Sent out someone to look at job within a couple of days. Quote and information received next day. Started the job within 2 weeks of initial enquiry. The guys worked very hard in exceedingly difficult conditions (30degrees plus in the roofspace) Completed job within 2.5 days. Waste material collected the day the job finished. Cleaned up site everyday before they left. All good. Having been approached by various dubious companies regarding the insulation of my property, I was very wary of finding the right person to remove my open cell foam insulation and sort out any additional loft insulation that I would need. However, the job needed to be done and I found Countrywide Roofing and Insulation through their website and they have been an absolute godsend. Admittedly the young chap who came out to do the survey did make a couple of mistakes in passing the information on, but he will learn from those and his honesty and good nature were very refreshing. Shaun and his team did an expert job removing spray foam insulation and replacing our roof, battling through bad weather and dealing with unexpected surprises such as garage roof beams disintegrating from years of water damage. They worked efficiently (and tidying up after themselves) and were very patient explaining to me and my partner what they were doing at each stage, nothing was too much trouble. The thing that really made them stand out to us though was their attitude. They arrived, worked, tidied up and left each day with a smile, sense of humour and a friendly word. They were really considerate of the fact they were working on our home, and I felt completely at ease with them here while my partner was out of the house. Our big reactive german shepherd loved them after about an hour - high praise indeed. Our youngest son is five and autistic, his behaviour is challenging to say the least. It really meant so much to him (and me) that they took the time to chat to him and make him comfortable and he still asks about when they are coming back! We would 100% recommend them, they are a credit to Countrywide.

Countrywide were fantastic. We had open cell spray foam in our attic (icynene to be precise!) and had a quote from another company telling us we needed an entire new roof. Richie from Countrywide came round and was immediately able to show us why the other quote was based on false information. He reassured our concerns about having the spray foam removed and explained exactly what the lenders and surveyors are looking for. When they arrived, the team of lads (Richie, Toby and Fin) were just incredible. My wife and I both work from home and so it's normally quite disruptive having people doing work in the house - these gentlemen were so quiet, we barely knew they were there! They set about the task in really tricky conditions without fuss and were super grateful for the teas and coffees. The job was quoted as taking 2-3 days and ended up taking 2. The team were very courteous and for the three days it took to remove, were always cleaning up at the end of the day and left the loft in a tidy manner. Turned up on time were polite and friendly, did a really good job, striped out the old insulation and found that no gap had been left so that air could circulate around the roof space fitted the new insulation with a gap! After being contacted the Company sent a knowledgeable representative to the house. He checked the loft and roof, then showed my wife and myself photographic evidence of the damage that required remedy, and what this would entail. The scaffolders arrived on the appointed day, and did the necessary erection quickly and efficiently. They were followed in due course by the remedial and re-insulation crew, who completed the job speedily and efficiently in two days. Every person involved, including the Admin staff, were not just hard working, but friendly and helpful.

Countrywide recently removed the open cell spray insulation from my mum’s attic. It had previously been installed by an unscrupulous company, clearly preying on vulnerable people to make a quick buck. From start to finish Countrywide gave a first class service and took away the stress. From the initial and completion contact with Adrian and Nick, Harrison who carried out the inspection to Richie and team who carried out the removal were all excellent and I can’t recommend them enough.

I recommend Countrywide Roofing & Insulation Ltd for doing a very professional, week long job of removing spray foam from the attic of my 300 year old, Grade 2 listed house, brushing and scraping remnants from the rafters, replacing and repairing damaged roof felt and laying traditional insulation. Areas leading to the loft hatches were protected with groundsheets, surfaces were dusted and vacuumed at the end of each day and the waste removed. The team of 3 men were quiet, polite, knowledgeable and hardworking.

I had a good experience with this company. They were professional and communication was prompt and excellent throughout. I was very happy with Ryan and Sam who came to do the job. They were courteous, helpful and very hard working. I was happy with the work done in the loft. The only down side was that the job was very dusty and the environment could have been better protected. Although the guys did hoover and tidy up at the end of each day I was left with marks on the carpet and walls. Countrywide did take full responsibility for this and ensured this issue was resolved satisfactorily.

Thanks to dave and his team for the removal of the spray foam in my roof. They dealt with it like true proffetionals. they made sure that all the upstairs flooring carpet was completely covered as there was a lot of sutt in the roof.when they had completed the job they put all the rubbish in my back garden and arranged for a van to pick it up that afternoon. it was hard work removing that foam and when they had finished they were covered from head to toe in sutt.
