I contacted Darren and Son yesterday and they visited the following morning to look at my aging roof. What a lovely polite and helpful company. They gave detailed feedback on this issues and a full explanation on how they could be resolved, including a ballpark price. I wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending this company if you have a roofing problem.

Excellent communication, great value, very reliable. Recommended by a friend for my mum who needed a repair done but no hard sale. They were so good with her, she has assessor from insurance out and was turned down saying it was wear and tear. But when we called dc roofing they were so reassuring and knowledgable. They took the insurance info, double checked it to confirm without charging for this and did the repairs that were needed in a really timely way and tidied everything away. Darren came round when he said and took a look at the job and gave me the option to have the work done straight away. Replacing the slate and strapping it up. Other one had a big hole in it and the nail had rusted out. This was causing a leak in the loft, where it had slipped. Really reasonable rate for the work and it was done within 30-40mins. Probably would have been quicker if I didn’t keep asking him questions. Haha. I’d definitely use them again. No mucking around and sorted issue. Just used DC roofing again, we are just having the odd slate slip here and there. Darren is a very honest guy and knows his trade, as well as his team. Came out when booked and replaced slate. I have used DC Roofing several times over the last few years. I have an old slate roof and they have been very helpful , repairing and replacing odd slates as they have deteriorated. Whilst the company does major installations and repair works, they have been happy to do these small repairs which is great as it can sometimes be difficult to find firms interested in this type of job. Definitely would recommend .

Due to the really wet weather at the moment we had a couple of areas around two chimneys where water was getting in. Darren and his team attended and made repairs to the leadwork and sorted out some loose tiles - all done quickly and efficiently. We have used DC Roofing three times in the past for various jobs, as have friends and family on our recommendation. If you have a roofing issue, don't hesitate to give them a call. From the start DC roofing were great. Darren came to quote on the day we agreed and arrived on time. He provided a competitive quote and we agreed a potential date for the work (weather permitting). The team came today to carry out the work, which was a couple of weeks earlier than we expected. Really impressed with the work they've carried out (Darren sent us photos of the work carried out as it was on the roof!), they were punctual and really friendly, then also cleaned up afterwards. Darren booked in for today to replace old damaged guttering at the back of my property - Darren and his co workers arrived on time and were friendly and very efficient, the old guttering has now been replaced and old guttering was also taken away, the new guttering looks amazing, all the workers also cleaned up after the work was completed, would highly recommend their services if anyone else needs guttering repairs or replacements. Had concerns about a leak in the conservatory and they came out the day after I called and were able to solve the issue quickly and with no hassle. They also gave advice and were very helpful.

I had a small leak in a flat roof dormer that was staining the wall and ceiling of the room below. Darren visited and identified the problem immediately, within 5 minutes he had sealed the leak. I have agreed to monitor the problem and have a more permanent fix completed in the summer. Darren is a top roofer and I will not hesitate to call him in for any future repairs that may occur.

Absolutely fantastic service, called at 10 in the morning and arrived at 12. I had a leak with water coming through into my landing, Darren came into my loft to see the leak and then went onto the roof. He took pictures and showed me the issue which turned out to be a broken tile, Darren had a spare tile on his van and fitted it for me. He explained that this should fix the leak but if it did not he would come back and look again. Had to have the old lead flashing over the conservatory replaced after having new sheets installed, so I contacted Darren which he responded to very quickly and was able to provide me with three different quote options. I’ve just been verbally abused by two of their workers in a van in Eastney for waiting for a vehicle to drive down the road. Absolutely disgusting behaviour! I had my newborn in the car and my dog so being sworn at for driving safely is just vile.
