Poor quality work and service - would not recommend. I asked Sherwood roofing to repair a leaking flat roof over a bay window back in February. They quoted £600 to remove the old roof and lead and replace with GRP. I agreed as I wanted it fixed within a few days as we were preparing the house for the arrival of our new baby. They came and did the work - but it was clear that it was substandard as the roof continued to leak. The lead flashing was removed, making this job very profitable. Despite multiple assurances to come back and redo the job, Sherwood roofing have never returned. They do not reply to messages, the last contact I had from them was in April, to say they had an illness in the family and would keep me updated on the repair. I have asked for a refund and I am still waiting for a reply.
From the first call to the final clean-up, Sherwood Roofing Ltd were professional and courteous. The work was done perfectly and on time, and they even checked everything twice to ensure quality. Great experience.

Very bad quality of work. U had done my chimney repair leaks . They told is flasher was not sealed so . I pay £180 for £15 sealant. . They even didn't seal properly still leaking. I told them that do it good so that my old neighbour have no issues with leaking in future so sealed both but they didn't have done good job. I have been calling them since last year .. to repair and revisit the site but no response. Still waiting. My advice don't use them .. Better get some one locally.. very bad service.
A lovely job replacing my bothy roof. They were competitively priced and gave me lots of advice on affordable options. They were always ready to answer my questions and I felt I was able to make the right decision for me, concerning the type of roof I wanted for longevity and low maintenance. They ensured it looks really good with all the finishing - facias and gutters. Thank you.
Brilliant work by the whole team. We needed part of the roof rebuilt, very old house with very old tiles. They worked quickly and meticulously. The only thing that let the work down was the weather! Brilliant communication throughout and they were flexible to the changing needs of the job. Lots of extra bits needed doing once the timbers were exposed but they just cracked on with it and we have a brilliant new roof! All the flashing round the chimneys was in a right state and now it looks fabulous. No more leaky guttering ether. Thanks so much to James and the rest of the lads.
Very reliable company, came out promptly to assess the damage and offered a clear explanation of what needed to be fixed. The repairs were completed to a high standard, and the team were friendly and tidy.

Amazing! The storm damaged our roof and we knew we needed a new one anyway so took the plunge! James and the team were fantastic! Got the job done efficiently and hard workers. The guys were very pleasant, they worked hard and completed the dry ridge work in the time they said - in very unpleasant weather. The price was reasonable and I would recommend them.

I've just had my roof fixed by Sherwood Roofing Ltd, and I'm pleased with the way the job was handled, A quick response from picking up the phone to completion, a fare price. And gave a honest account as to the condition of the roof.... Which is not what I wanted to hear but James's honesty will save me money in the long run.. Had a great job done by this company, responded quickly and did a thorough inspection of work required, before giving a fair and honest price. The lads worked all the time replacing felting and boarding with new rubber roofing system to front and back flat roof sections of house. Although the jobs naturally create a lot of mess , they did there best to remove as much as they could and leave the site near to how they found it. They seemed knowledgeable about there trade and even inspected main roof of house for wear and swopped a couple of damaged tiles with spare ones I had. Would highly recommended these guys who are friendly and trustworthy.
Sherwood Roofing Ltd re-covered my shed roof and did a great job. I then got them to reset the ridge tiles on my roof. They did an excellent job and I would have no hesitation in recommending their work to anyone. Thanks to Will and his team.
