Hampshire Roofing Specialists

Steve did a great job on a flat roof that needed repairing. He kept me informed throughout the job from start to finish. His work is neat, tidy and professional. Really pleased with the finished job.

Steve came out to quote for a repair for what we thought was a small leak in the roof. He fixed the issue really quickly and was very considerate with bringing a towel to ensure his ladder to our loft didn’t leave any marks. Would definitely recommend :)

I’m very happy with Hampshire Roofing specialist work quality.

Called yesterday (Saturday) as I have discovered my roof leaking. No answer but they called me back not long after. The lady on the phone was originally going to get someone to visit me on Monday but then said he is doing in a job in this area so can come Sunday morning at 09:45. That suits me perfectly so booked that in… it’s now 13:00 and nobody bothered showing up. Even more annoying is the fact they couldn’t be arsed to at least call me, a simple 30 second phone call to say either going to be late/reschedule or can’t come today. That simple call would have prevented this review entirely. Already booked for another guy to come out who hopefully shows up and proves all roofers aren’t like this.

Steve really helped us out. We had a leak on the roof. He reacted on all my messages and phone calls, which does not happen very often. He was able to sort the leak out there and then. Great! Much appreciated.

We would recommend Hampshire Roofing Specialists and we contacted Steve through the recommendation of a neighbour. He communicated well with us , arrived on time to assess the work which involved a roof leak near the chimney . He took photos of the problem, gave us a quote and after agreement he completed the work that day. Steve is a tradesman that can be trusted and we would use his company again . Many thanks Dave&Dawn Romsey

Steve came out to quote for a repair for a small leak in the roof. He was happy to have a detailed look at the issue, found out what was wrong and fixed it all at the same appointment. Very pleased.

Great service, very quick and efficient!

Steve kindly came out to help us with a leak issue at the Lockswood Care & Wellbeing Centre, part of Age Concern Hampshire. Not only did he diagnose and resolve the problem quickly, but he also generously donated his time and work to support our charity. His professional approach, clear communication, and genuine willingness to help the community were truly appreciated. We’re so grateful for Steve’s support — highly recommended!

I am so grateful to Steve for responding to my desperate call on dark Sunday rainy evening, when my roof started to leak! He came and did all what he could, in the dark and under pouring rain, sent a quote on the same evening (with detailed descriptions of the jobs to be done) and next morning managed to stop the leak (which looked more like a shower) even before the proper repair started. The roof was fully repaired within a week despite the roofers’ busy schedule. Steve together with Wes and Ryan (who put up the scaffolding) worked quickly and efficiently. Steve posted a series of photos illustrating clearly what was the problem and how it was fixed. The guys did a great job that I greatly appreciate as I do appreciate the photos that gave me a better idea of what my roof looks like (it is a tall Victorian building). The payment was exactly as quoted. I also would like to add that Steve always replies to calls and texts asap. I would highly recommend this company.

Great service from start to finish. The roofer was professional and did a fantastic job. Everything was completed in great time and to a high standard. I would highly recommend.

Steve was a great help solving a roofing problem (twice!) in double quick time!! Good advice and prompt attention. 👍👍👍

Steve and his team did a fantastic job on our new roof, He and his staff were very professional, polite, informative and tidy. The job was to strip the old tiles, battons and felt, replacing with all new . The quote was very competitive for what he promised us but true to his word it was what we paid. We would not hesitate in recommending Hampshire roofing specialists to anyone. First class service from Steve, Wes and Ryan, Also the scaffolding team he hired were really good and made sure everything was safe. Top quality work gentlemen. Thank you all very much. Alan and Carol.

Steve was fantastic- I asked him to come out to quote for something that I thought would be a big job. He straight away spotted a drain was blocked and took the time to clear it all on his own time and didn’t even let me buy him a coffee afterwards. Thanks so much for your honesty and help!

Steve replaced the flat roof on our garage. We are very happy with the finished job. We would highly recommend him.

I cannot thank Steve enough for responding to my plea for help when I found a leak from our flat roof. Within a week we had had an inspection, a quote followed by a completely new roof. Punctual, tidy and an excellent job done. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Called at half 1 with an urgent problem, this company were with me by 3 and had the issue solved within 1 hour. Very impressed at the service and would 10/10 recommend. Professional, knowledgeable, fairly priced and excellent service - thank you!

Great service from Steve and Wes, in providing a repair to a leaking extension and facia set up. Definitely proven a solid fix following the rain over the last couple of days. Steve discussed repair options to me and we agreed on an approach. Provided good quote and dates for the work. Always contactable and was good to his word, with no hidden surprises. Huge thanks for resolving my problem.

I cant praise Steve enough. Coming out in all weather to sort out my leaky roof. Quick to respond and more than reasonable with his pricing.

Brilliant work by a great team - really friendly, really professional & did a fantastic job on my roof - thank you !

Without a doubt the best Roofers in Hampshire. We had a whole new roof/Velux windows & flat roof. From day one the service was exceptional. Steve, Wes & Connor were professional, friendly & hard working and went the extra mile and transformed our roof. Punctual every day & great communication keeping us updated at every stage. Highly recommended! Thanks guys.

I have used Steve and Wes before when storm Eunice took the top of my roof off , excellent response time and repair . This year I decided to have a roof replacement, despite the wet weather in January and February, the lads got on with the job quickly and professionally, very pleased with the new roof with lots of compliments from friends and family , would highly recommend Steve and Wesley , with the help of young Conor. If you need roof and guttering work done this is the company you need to use . Cheers lads

Great Job done by Steve, Wes and Connor of Hampshire Roofing Specialists. They came to my rescue after another roofer let me down badly. They took down my unused chimney stack and replaced with felt, battons and tiles. Very competent, helpful and friendly. Very tidy workers and cleaned up after themselves each day.Would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Steve has saved us a couple of times now. He’s always straightforward, really understands roofs and suggests the solution you need. I’ve always felt like the price is very reasonable so we never go anywhere else for roof problems. As expected he’s super busy but worth it. Our freshly replaced roof valleys look great and our loft is now dry and airy!

Amazing service from Steve and his team. Had an urgent repair/ replacing leadwork around dormer window. From estimate to completed job less than a week and most of that was us waiting for other firms to quote. (Steve quoted the same day) Work completed to a high standard and documented for us as we are overseas . Highly recommended for roofing services.

Work was carried out in a professional manner, very happy with the results of the flat roof. Would recommend this company

We recently had a leak due to our builder walking over the roof and causing extensive damage. Steve and his team came out the same day that I called and have been nothing but super helpful. They removed our old roof and replaced with a more durable tile and were really competitive on price too. Would highly recommend Steve and his team and would never hesitate on using them in the future. Excellent service, professional team and friendly too

Highly recommend- great knowledge, professional, did the job within a week of quote, couldnt ask for more! Thank you!

Steve helped me our after I got partly scammed. He gave me a realistic quote to put things right and he and his partner worked like trojan to sort me out. Very professional and cleared up mess to a high degree.

Prompt response to my initial enquiry and came round to quote within days. The guys were all very friendly and the work was completed quickly. Competitive pricing, will definitely contact them in the future when needed

Steve and all the guys were terrific. We’d been victim of bad workmanship from a previous roofing firm and required a lot of work to be carried out. Although the works were weather delayed slightly, we were kept informed at all times and once the works began they were punctual, polite, tidy and respectful. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you.

Excellent work, tidy, professional finish, highly recommended! Thank you Steve and the team! The Dachshund family x 🐶 😄 👍🏻

Just finished a replacement roof (new batons and membrane) Arranged a prompt visit after being contacted and provided a detailed quote Workers were polite and self sufficient - no endless cups of tea and biscuits Our roof was complicated by solar panels but they helpfully (for a fee) removed and replaced them for us. They were also happy to add on some work at the end - replacing our remaining wooden soffits / fascia. We had a couple of concerns at the end of the work - 1 solar panel needing a slight positional adjustment and 1 corner of roof where birds were already trying to get in - these were quickly addressed without additional charge before the scaffolding was removed. Price was as quoted. Good communication and responsive to emails. Very happy to use in the future

Communication spot on and job completed to a great standard. Steve, Wes and the team all really friendly and nothing too much hassle. Left the site clean as if they hadn’t even been there. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻👍🏻

In a nutshell, quality work realistically priced. Thanks so much Steve! The guys were polite and professional and did an excellent job installing a new flashing to the roof. Highly recommended without hesitation!

Slate roof on listed cottage requiring sympathetic re-installation. Professional punctual service. Fairly priced and very happy with end product. Recently tested with heavy rain and all appears well. Thank you chaps.

These guys organised a complete roof renovation for me with a very tight deadline, they provided an itemised quote, kept me up to date with progress and sent photographs of the issues needing repair and then photographs when it was all complete. They were tidy, courteous and kept to the budget given on the quote. I have no hesitation in recommending them, top job!

Excellent prompt service as always. Highly recommended 5 stars.

I would happily recommend Hampshire roofing specialist, from start to finish Steve and his team were excellent nothing was to much trouble and there workmanship was outstanding. Thanks guys.

We had a full roof fascia soffits and guttering replaced and it is a brilliant job looks great. Steve and his team were excellent and so polite we would have no hesitation using them again or recommending them to anyone else.

Recommend by many people from the village, and I can see why. Quick to turn up for an initial inspection and temporary repair. Then back a few days later to do a proper permanent repair. Quick and nicely done. Will defo use next time!

Absolutely incredible work by Hampshire Roofing Specialists. Within a week of popping in for a free quote to see what was wrong with our roof, the work was done. Knowledgeable with competitive prices, and put us first time home owners at ease. Quick turn around on work, left the area as clean as they found it. Would immediately recommend.

Called them for a small job , excellent service , response and quality

I've no hesitation in recommending Hampshire Roofing Specialists. 5* service in all respects. Thank you Steve. Today they finished a week's work to replace the roof of an old property. It was such a relief to have a person reply promptly to a message that I sent and to be happy to visit the property. With the knowledge that trades people are extremely busy at the moment I was expecting a longer wait for the work to be done. I'm completely satisfied with the finished roof and if I needed roofing work in the future I would approach HRS and Steve straight away.

Hampshire Roofing Specialists came out at short notice to repair some damage to my roof after the bad storm. They went above and beyond what I was expecting and were really good value. I would definitely recommend them

Steve came out very quickly to inspect our damaged roof tiles after storm Eunice. Very efficient with getting quote to us for insurance company and quick responses to messages. Within a few days the scaffolding was up and our roof repairs were done the same day to an extremely high standard. The lads were all very friendly, professional, tidied up everything and the cost was very reasonable- can’t recommend them enough! Excellent service!

Quick response to message following storm damage to roof. Accurate quote provided using photographs. Arrived at agreed time and all workers very polite

Fantastic responsive and speedy service. Knowledgable, polite and reassuring. I would have no hesitation in recommending Steve’s excellent services.

Roof, tiles repair after recent storm. Happy with the service, property left water tight until got back few day later to fix it. Excellent service primum price.

Steve and his team showed up to mend my Roof promptly. They did a very good job for a very reasonable price and I would happily use them again

We had damage to our roof during Storm Eunice which was very stressful not sure where to go for help so went onto a local Facebook page and this man offered his company’s help. The work was done within a couple of days and we always felt we were in safe hands, the guys that did the work were lovely we would highly recommend this company.

Requested a quote for a complete new roof, Steve turned up as planned , was very knowledgeable, He submitted a very competitive quote to include scaffolding and waste removal, Started the job on Monday finished on Friday, left everyday with clean driveway , they noticed a few things with my guttering and several broken tiles on my leanto that they addressed for me , Overall I am very pleased with the work and attitude of workers , I would highly recommend this company, Terry

I highly recommend this company. We had a small leak in our roof and while I tried to contact a few roofing companies, Hampshire Roofing Specialists were the only ones who got back to us. Everything was done promptly and professionally, the service and work done was excellent. They made it really easy.

Really pleased with service - Good job!

Called and came same day to see what I needed. Returned next day to complete repair. Very friendly and speedy service. All staff in attendance interacted and let me know what they were doing. Highly recommended and will definitely use again. Thanks Steve

They were so professional, clean and fast. I will use them again in the future and can honestly recommend them.

Steve and his crew were very professional, lovely, efficient and tidy. They did a brilliant job on replacing the roof felt, batons etc. Very tidy and made sure to clean everything up. Steve was also very quick and prompt to come out and look at the initial problem of the roof leaking after the initial stormy weather. It showed that 60 year old roof felt really was overdue to be replaced!

The service and attention to detail was perfect. Super efficient and a very prompt and professional service. 5 star review from me and would totally recommend this team.

The company was recommended through a shout out to the local Eastleigh Neighbours site on Facebook, as we had just moved into the Eastleigh area. We are very happy with the repair on our side of the chimney, other roof repair work required, and removing the moss of the roof. These works as recommended by our Building Surveyor. Additional adhoc work were carried out by replacing the back of the house guttering and down pipes. The flat roof was replaced and looks so much better and water tight. All the debris from the work was removed from our house. We have 2 guarantees to cover the work they had done. Giving us peace of mind. Although they were extremely busy, they did do their best to try to communicate with us regarding updates, when they could. The cost of the work was very good and we would recommend them. Steve, Wesley and the lads were friendly and professional in their work ethic. Thank you for that.

Very promp service and very professional brilliant team . Would highly recommend this company for all roofing issue's.

Steve and his guys completed a complete re-roof of our house today. No haggling over the price as I knew how much he had charged for a neighbour. Cleaned up everything including washing the new roof!. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Just had a new roof installed on our new extension, Steve and his team were very efficient and have done a lovely job, I am over the moon with the finished outcome. I would highly recommend Steve.

We have recently had our flat garage and dining room roof's replaced by Steve and his wonderful team. What a great bunch of guys he has working for him. We could not fault him and his company. They were polite, likeable and hard working, going above and beyond to make sure the job was well done. Steve's response time on giving us a quote was very prompt and we would recommend Steve and his team all day long. Amongst other qualities he is tidy, efficient, punctual but above all he is just a really fair guy!! Well done chaps ! We ran out of dime bars tho 😀

Steve and his team were very professional and respectful throughout! The work was carried out within the time frame he advised and we are very happy with it. Would highly recommend his business!

Great service and very professional I would recommend Hampshire roofing to Everyone Mine was only a small job but nothing was to much trouble when the work was carried out and the price was by far the best quote

Steve and his team were great, kept us informed and were all very polite and easy to deal to with. The price was very reasonable as well.

I am a Tennant in a property that needed work to be done on the roof as I had water leaking through a ceiling into a child's bedroom which saturated 2 mattresses. My landlord got Hampshire roofing specialists in to have a look. Upon inspection they concluded that the whole roof needed redoing due to quite a few issues. Once the scaffolders had been the roofers were in like a shot. They estimated 5 days to do the work. They installed new timber batten's, felt, tiles and some new trim in 3 1/2 days. The valley was also neatened up and sorted too. Overall I was very impressed with the work they did. Just before Christmas 2020. A couple of months on I have got no issues with the roof and I am again water tight. I would recommend them to people for work.

Arranged Steve to do some work, paid a deposit and he didn't arrive on the date we had arranged, or the second or third, now he's ignoring my calls texts emails and WhatsApp messages. And no sign of getting my deposit back either. I wish I had read the other reviews specifically the one mentioning his last company and the terrible reviews he had there too. It's also worth mentioning that one of the 5 star reviews on here is his wife!! I can only assume the rest are fake too. A lesson learnt, and yet another rogue trader. Please avoid.

I would definitely recommend hampshire roofing specialists they are friendly and helpful the team I had do my roof kept me informed on every stage of the process and did a fantastic job. Definitely did a great job

Dealing with Steve (and his guys) was an absolute pleasure. His professionalism is second to none and have no hesitation recommending his services.

Absolute rubbish

Steve and the team came out quickly after I called. They provided a fair quote and they were able to get the work done in good time and to a good standard. I am very happy with the finished product and would not hesitate to use them again. Further Review: Having sorted a small leak a few months ago Steve and his team came out to look at another leak for us. Steve inspected the whole roof, both on top of the tiles and underneath and it resulted in us decided on a whole new roof. Steve quoted and was the fairest price. They have finished this week and the work has been fantastic; they even sorted our chimney pointing (which was really bad), all as part of the job. These guys really should be the first you call if you have problems with your roof!!

I would highly recommend Hampshire Roofing Specialists. They did a fantastic job, replacing the lead flashing on the conservatory roof of my side return. From quote to completion, I cannot fault their professionalism. Their work ethic was excellent. Sharon from Winchester

My roof was replaced by Steve and his company, they were on time, efficient, cheerful and kept me informed. The work was carried out meticulously and I am delighted with the quality and look of the new roof. Thank you!

I called Steve to come round and help with a leaking conservatory and then again the next day when it was raining. Brilliant customer service , very responsive , helpful would definitely recommend

One of the tiles had fallen off our roof, I spoke to Steve who was extremely friendly and very helpful. He gave me a great quote so we arranged a date for them to come and do the work. Steve arrived with his colleague, I dont recall his name but, he was also very friendly and professional. They completed the job in no time at all, even though it wasn't in the easiest place to get to. All in all, we are very happy with the work and would definitely recommend them!!

Steve and Wes were professional right from the beginning. They came and provided me with a quote and and then returned and completed the job for the price agreed. Would recommend their roofing services!

I recently contacted Steve at Hampshire roofing about a complete reroof all old tiles, felt, batons and lead to be removed and replace with new. Steve and Wes were quick to respond and come round to give a quote, after many quotes I decided to use Steve and his company as the quote was reasonable for the work I wanted done and comes fully guaranteed. The original start date was pushed back due to current climate which I fully understand and was happy to wait a couple more weeks over the last week Steve and his team have transformed my house with a new roof from start to finish. This company has been great to work with, good time keeping ,clean and tidy very polite and very knowledgeable about the job and answered all my questions about the work they were undertaking. Great job done, I would highly recommend this company.thanks again Steve and Wes

Was in need of a total re roof to a bungalow. Contacted Steve and within 20 minutes had a reply and date and time of visit to quote for the work. The quote was very reasonable and was impressed with his knowledge and advice. There took care of waste Management, scaffolding and deliveries of materials. Job was carried out on time and within budget. Every day there cleared up after themselves and was polite and made sure we was kept up to date with every aspect of the job. Would recommend them again and I ve already passed there buisness cards on to people. Can’t thank them enough for there help and professional job there have done.

I would highly recommend Hampshire Roofing Specialists. Very knowledgeable and professional, and reliable.

Steve was recommended to me by a friend and was superb from the initial communication. He turned up when he said he would and got straight on with it. He did a great job and left everything tidy. A great guy who was very personable. Highly recommended.

An absolute life saver after last weekend's storm. Thank you for fitting us in when you were so busy. Brilliant job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you and your company. Thank you again.

We have recently had our flat roof replaced and chimney repaired and repointed etc by Steve, We could not fault him he is polite, honest, likeable, punctual and goes above and beyond to make sure the job gets done correctly. I can personally vouch for this as he stood up on my flat roof for 45 mins in heavy rain and windy conditions to find out where our leak was coming from , he was not going to leave until our problem was fixed and went above and beyond to do so. I was really anxious about our leak as would anyone be at the sight of water running down your wall but Steve really reassured me that he would sort it no matter what and he worked really hard to ensure this, further to that he has since made contact to follow up his work and make sure we have a leak free property which we do!! One thing that we particularly liked was his response time on giving us a quote , he also explains what he would recommend needs doing and why. Amongst other qualities he is tidy efficient, punctual but above all he is just a really nice guy!!

Needed some work done as a matter of urgency and Steve quoted and completed the job within a couple of days. Highly recommended and would certainly use again.

I’ve used Steve in his capacity as a roofer on a number of occasions on differing roof surfaces and very different problems and he has always been punctual, very quick to locate and fix whatever the problem is,fair on pricing and generally a nice person to do business with. I would highly recommend his professional service and would like to thank him for work completed on my properties.

I have used this company on my projects and own property over the years and the work has been to a high standard and completed on time. I’d happily recommend HAMPSHIRE roofing specialists.

After a recent storm several tiles had fallen from my roof and rainwater was leaking into the loft. Steve and his team were exceptional and came to the property within 24 hours to repair the damage. They were professional, polite and very tidy. I would highly recommend Hampshire Roofing to friends and family, excellent service and very competitive prices.
