Contacted Leigh after a slate tile came off our roof. Replied within a couple of minutes and came round to have a look in less than 30 minutes. Gave me a very reasonable price, returned the next morning in terrible weather to do the job. Great communication, very efficient, couldn't recommend him highly enough.

We’re absolutely delighted with the work Leigh and his team did on our slate roof. After discovering a new leak in our roof, we decided it was time to replace our slate roof and contacted Leigh. He came out promptly to assess the situation, provided a clear quote, and arranged the work as quickly as could reasonably be expected, especially given it was over the Christmas period. Within around a week, the scaffolding was in place and the work had begun. The job was completed efficiently and within a good timeframe, even with challenging weather conditions, including snow. The team worked consistently and professionally throughout. The standard of workmanship is very good, the roof looks great, and the site was kept tidy. Communication was clear throughout the process, which made everything run smoothly. Overall, we’re very pleased with the service provided and would recommend Leigh and his company to anyone looking for reliable roofing work carried out to a good standard.

Leigh and his team were amazing this weekend in the strong wind and rain when we had a leak in our roof which came through into our bedroom. We had been recommended and used him before and were really pleased so didn’t hesitate to contact him in this emergency. Despite being on holiday in France, he arranged a member of his team to come out and do a temporary fix on the Sunday to stop the water coming through our loft and ceiling. Then with photos and messages gave us a quote and sent a very capable team on the Friday to do a full gully replacement including realigning tiles. The team were professional and we wouldn’t hesitate to use again or recommend. Thanks guys-top job!
Avoid at all costs! Left my home soaking wet for 6 months! Water pouring into my extension and causing many issues! I have small children in the home as well! Tried to get it sorted by LM Roofing but was ignored eventually. Do not contact this company! Don't know how they sleep at night, leaving my house in such a mess! I have lost so much time and money...

I have had a very poor experience with LM Roofing. Leigh fitted plastic boards over the gable ends in November 24. Within a week one had blown off and broken into 4 pieces as no nails had been put into the mid section. After many messages and answered with "no problem" a roofer came to put the 4 broken pieces back in March!! I was told that I would have to buy a new piece. I got so fed up with the attitude that I replaced the board myself making sure that a professional job was carried out although at cost to myself it was worth it as the existing woodwork had seen over 3 months poor weather already. Very poor service.
Contacted Leigh for a small building project. Could not be happier with the construction, finish and price. Project turned out far better than I envisioned and the pace of work was impressive. Those who worked for him were courteous and efficient, tidied up after themselves each day and were professional tradesmen. Great job!

Contacted LM Roofing about lead flashing that was leaking. They came out the following day to give a quote which was reasonable. The work was carried out the very next day. Excellent customer service. Clean and tidy.

Fabulous work and swift response. I had a severe roof leak on the extended bathroom during a storm. Lee visited the site on the same day I called him, explained the cause of the leak, and offered two repair plans to choose from. Lee helps me strip back addition refelt and batten fitted new bridges cemented chimney and made a valley for water to run away properly. Definitely will recommend LM Roofing to friends!

Used these guys about a week ago. I rang to get a quote having develloped a leak, they were very helpful. Did the survey and quote that afternoon and to my surprise said they could fit me in the following day. Great service, very good prices, can't fault them. I contacted LM because I had a small leak on the landing. Leigh came around and checked the roof we agreed to repair part of the ridge which was missing a lot mortar. Leigh was easy to talk to and patiently explained what he thought the problem was. One of his employee carried out the work on the ridge and apparently changed some roof tiles too. All went well. The leak seems resolved now. It was a bit expensive but I am satisfied with their work and the fact that they were polite and professional, they made the job stress free.

Had lee & his team round to clear the moss from my roof, (live near a lot of trees). He explained they would be scraping off the moss not jet washing as this can damage your roof, when they were done, it was all cleared up & taken away, can’t recommend this company enough, highly professional, lovely guys, would only use these for any jobs I need doing

Totally AVOID if you want a good job done. I had them round to fix a leaking roof which still leaked after they left. They didn't look inside the roof to see where the leak was coming from, just chose to work from the outside without any exploration. They left gaps between tiles and dry and crumbly cement mix which was falling out in places. After it rained it carried on leaking; they came back and replaced the work they did, but this time the leaks were worse and water ran down the inside walls. I got a different roofer who took twice as long for a little less money and took tiles right back and replaced underlay. And the reviews are mainly fake and bought. The reviewers typically give 5 star reviews across the country for the same type of roofing businesses.

I really wanted to trust these people. But it seems it cannot be done. I did not have any leaks or anything but wanted to get flat felt replacement to avoid any real problems. Lee was there even earlier than what he said to give a quote - of course its all about money- They came, done the job in half a day ( was told it would take day and a half, which makes me wonder) But then I noticed that the gap he said should be have been closed between the gutter and roof is still open. He did say he was going to sort it out and he texted me it was sorted after they left. I cannot see sorting it would taking a long time either as it is trivial but he, himself said may cause issues further down the line I have been chasing him for over 2 months now, he keeps saying next week. I now know that they will do nothing about it, they will never show up as it does not involve money Which is unprofessional and slack I asked for a guarantee which I now know doesnt count for anything because they will never show up for anything ...and i amd NOT the only one who had this problem clearly I think I will go straight to trading standards and /or courts if I encounter further issues because they wont do nothing once they got your money. -----------------update----- no card found he said he would fix it before the job was given to them and who in their right mind shows up at peoples places completely unannouced...dont believe it

Had an emergency repair the day before and roof was still leaking. Made a call to Lee and he came down to look within 2 hours. Saw the problem and explained what the issue was, proposed a fix which I agreed with and charged a very reasonable price. Came down at 9.00 in the morning to fix. Phoned LM Roofing to help out with what I thought was a slight leak from the roof of my rental property. He visited the house the very next morning and called me to advise that in fact there was no problem with the roof and was simply condensation. He even commented that the roof was in a good condition. When I asked him to invoice me for his time, he told me there was no charge. I'm very thankful to Leigh for helping me with this especially as I wasn't able to be there at the time. The tenant's said he was very professional. I've used other tradesmen recently and have been stung for large fees for doing the exact same. These guys are brilliant, really trustworthy, friendly and professional. Our flat roof had a leek, I had tried about 3 roofers before I came across Leigh, and none of them turned up to quote us! Leigh on the other hand was easy to contact and came round when agreed to give us a quote. He took pictures of the roof and explained what needed repairing and why. We then booked in to go ahead for repair and the date they said they would come they did which is great no mucking about with dates. Job was completed on time and as quoted :) I will be recommending Leigh to family and friends for future .

This was disastrous .We paid up for what we thought was a fixed roof. We asked Lee to come back and fix our leak which he didn’t. We were polite and asked for over 6 months….. We phoned, emailed . In the end we gave up and had to get someone else in. My advice is to check leaks still not occurring before you pay up. Better still don’t use this company.

I phoned Lee on a Saturday morning, the day after a recent storm had damaged the roof of my house in Colchester. Despite being very busy, he repaired the roof on Sunday, at very reasonable cost. I don't think you could find a more helpful and efficient roofer anywhere.
I wont use anyone else now. The first job was sorting out a flat roof that had been leaking for a couple of years and the initial installer kept putting us off (the initial installer was NOT LM Roofing). I finally got Leigh round to do a new roof and it has not leaked at all since it was all done properly. Then after the very windy storm Eunice, Leigh came out straight away and sorted our problem tile on the other roof ..... I will not go elsewhere now....these are my "GO TO" company.
Eunice took some slates with her and LM responded really quickly, had a look during the storm and then came back this morning to repair. Very reasonable and excellent service!
After the terrible storm of Eunice who brought down my lead flashing and tiles from my roof, I found Leigh on Google search and gave him a call. He arrived within the hour to view the damage and arrived the following day to repair the damage. Great service would highly recommend.

Very quick to respond to request to come and check loose roof tiles, sent a message late Friday night and was contacted 8am Saturday morning to arrange when was suitable to come and have a look. By lunchtime Saturday the roof was fully sorted so we were very happy with the service, communication and professionalism received. Would definitely recommend and will use again if we ever need any other roof work doing.
