Arranged to price for a job and never showed up. Chased several times with no response, and ended up taking my business to another company that could be bothered. Not sure how this company made it onto the local government list of approved builders.

James and his team have been fantastic. We’ve had various projects (roof, a porch and lastly the driveway) completed over the last couple of years and the standard of work is amazing. I would definitely recommend James for any kind of building project as he really knows his stuff and can tackle really tricky projects. If I could give more than 5 stars in this review I would!!

I have been using Jim and his team from Charterhouse Roofing & General Builders for more than 10 years now for various serious roofing repairs on my properties. He has also worked for friends and neighbours where I have recommended him. Yes, he is very knowledgeable and professional, but he is also a pleasure to deal with even in very difficult situations. He can be booked up when you need him, but I always join the queue, rather than go elsewhere. Mike

I have known Jim at Charterhouse Roofing for many years and he and his team have always done an excellent job. He is knowledgeable and skilled in his trade. Jim and his team have fixed/repaired/updated parts of the roof of my previous house and garage, and done repairs, chimney removal, gutter replacement and external drain clearance on my present house. They are always pleasant, responsive and professional and quote a fair price. I highly recommend them.
