CJN solar added battery storage to my existing solar system 10 days ago Being a cautious soul, i contacted quite a number of firms to get a feel for them and, importantly get a prospective cost for installing. I chose CJN for a number of reasons. Jamie, the owner was the only prospective supplier who asked to visit and check out my existing system, ascertain my needs and come up with something he could offer without it interfering with my existing FIT payments. Of all the conversations with different suppliers, Jamie had the most comprehensive knowledge and practical experience of solar and descibed and has since provided a reassuring level of both short term and long term support. On the installation day agreed he turned up with his apprentice at the agreed time. Explained what he was going to do. Responded to and quickly resolved a potential issue with cable routing. Installed all the equipment and then spent a good length of time explaining how it worked and how to monitor its activity. I've waited till now to provide a review because i wanted to be able to make what is obviously short term review of my experience of the system. After the first 24hrs of the battery charging up there has been a run of 7 days with reasonable weather, so with a combination of battery charge and solar production my only electricity cost has been for the daily standing charge from the energy supplier. While im sure this will change as we move into the winter months. I will be able to save money with the use of a smart tariff , cheap rates through the night and once the power grid approve the system some export income. All in all very impressed with CJN solar and looking forward to spring and bigger savings
