Worcester Renewable provided a very high specification system which provides hot water, heating, aircon, charges our car, and uses solar power to cut our electricity bill. The team supported us every step of the way during the build and have delivered a high quality product. That I can control every room’s temperature via my phone as well as monitor the real-time power usage really helps with managing the system. Great work from Worcester Renewable and I’d be happy to recommend them

If I could have given 4.5 stars, I would have done. Always seem efficient and professional. The only issue I've had is that they only carry out servicing on Fridays so, if you need to rely on a family member to provide access to the property, the lack of flexibility can become inconvenient. Otherwise, no complaints.

WRE Carried out design and installation of all aspects of our self build home including ASHP, underfloor heating to ground and first floor, solar panel, battery storage, first fix plumbing and final commissioning. I found the entire team to be responsive to any queries I had and extremely efficient. Excellent standard of work throughout and would not hesitate to recommend.

Worcester Renewable Energy installed a heat pump system in our property at the end of January 2022, and subsequently fitted solar panels to our roof in the following year. My wife and have been delighted with the quality of the work undertaken and the performance of the systems in question. We have also been very impressed with the professionalism, diligence and curtesy demonstrated by the WRE team prior to, during and after installation, and we have no hesitation in recommending their services.

Ground source heat pump installation 14yrs ago with wet underfloor heating into a 600 year old house. The installation was great, it has delivered as expected and been maintained by WRE too. The process and people were so good, we had them back for an Air source heat pump installation 4 years ago, also with wet underfloor heating into a oak framed annexe. Great people to do business with. Highly recommended.

We've had an extremely positive experience working with Worcester Renewable Energy (WRE) since the fitting of solar panels in 2012. This continued through the renovation of our property and particularly on the decision to fit a heat pump based central heating system in our property commencing in 2015. Throughout the renovation and extension of our home WRE were extremely helpful, giving advice as we updated the property and informing decisions such as underfloor heating in the cellar and replacement conservatory and associated design issues, especially concerning insulation works, most of which we did ourselves. When it came to the commissioning of the central heating system, this again was done over a period reflecting our DiY progress (and learning!), the overall process being completed last year. In addressing issues, WRE have been really efficient - most notably when a component on our Mitsubishi based system failed, where they quickly identified the issue and engaging with Mitsubishi, had a repair undertaken. Mitsubishi were also very prompt here is covering the costs of damage caused by the issue. All of the people we have engaged with at WRE clearly care about our relationship with them and all come over as very professional in what they do. We look forward to continuing our engagement with WRE through annual servicing, maintenance and updating of both the solar PV and Heat Pump systems in the future.

WRE installed our ground source heat pump and external in ground pipework and in fact all the internal underfloor heating and suppies to bathrooms etc. , the full job. I must say that everything has ran smoothly now for more than 12 years and we can honestly say that we have been very pleased with the initial quality of work in the installation and smooth running of the system since.

We live in a very old farmhouse and 3 years ago we had a large new multiuse outbuilding constructed . Due to the relatively large scale, Worcester Renewable Energy designed and installed a terrific hybrid GSHP system that connects our house and outbuilding and works with our existing oil boiler , vastly reducing our use of heating oil and giving a very reliable heating and hot water system. They even completed all the ancillary plumbing for the new build. Servicing over the past three years has been routine. They do what they say, when they say, for the cost they say. Couldn’t hope for better , or more helpful staff on site and in the office🙂

Hello .In 2012 i contracted this company to carry out a p.v instalation .Acording to the mcs specifications .1n2023 the systems proved not to be compliant to specification and my roof was leaking .In fact it had been leaking slowly out of sight untill the roof where panels covered failed .I am going to let the judge decide who is telling the truth sorry darren If daren thiks i would waste endless hours on unfounded nonsense to say nothing of the cost ,and stress he mistaken .I started littigation to recover the cost of reinstating my roof caused it turned out by a series of faults in the instalation .The company had the benifit of insurance against any claims.which ment i had to use my savings to pay my legal costs .The evidence gathered was from Three independant companys a professional solar installer .an old fashioned highly trusted roofer .and a firm of structural engineers .Sadly i ran out of money !! not evidence .I was going to lose even more money .I could not take the case on its final journey .Sadly my health also suffered and i had have and am still having cognisance pain management therapy .I did not make this up as some fairy story Keith Burton

Worcester Renewable Energy Ltd. installed a Ground Source Heat Pump in our house just over 11 years ago. We chose WRE because at the time they were the only company we could who would carry out a bespoke design. We have a large garage for two cars and all the other companies would only quote putting the cylinder, heat pump and buffer tank there which would have meant loosing a space for a car in the garage. WRE designed it such that the heat pump went in the back kitchen, the cylinder in a cupboard upstairs and a small box type buffer tank in the base of the airing cupboard. Apart from an issue with the heat pump that was the manufacturers problem, we have been very pleased with Worcester Renewable Energy Ltd.

We have had our air source heat pump for 4 years now and are delighted with it. WRE are very thorough with the preliminary surveys and suggestions. We had a couple of quotes and were impressed with the complete process WRE gave us. Since it has gone in we have had our annual service, very happy with the warmth and bills that have gone down when compared with the old oil boiler. Our 1970s bungalow did need some extra work before they arrived, deeper insulation in the roof and replacement cavity wall insulation. We also put in larger radiators as suggested as we felt it would be worth it, we were right! All together we now have warmer and more efficient building to live in which is better for the environment. Very pleased with the service from WRE and would definitely recommend to others and have already done so.

Since installing the complete plumbing system including an ASHP, in our newly built Border Oak home in 2021, Worcester Renewable Energy have continued to service the system annually. Darren, Natalie and Tom have been reliable, competent and always extremely helpful. Very pleased to recommend this great team.

We recently moved to a property with a Heat Pump. Worcester Renewable Energy were there to help. They serviced the system and explained how it worked. The engineer arrived on time and was knowledgable, helpful and polite. The job was completed quickly and no mess was left. Highly recommend.

We have used WRE twice over the last few years, once to install a solar thermal system and again to install solar PV including batteries and off grid switch. They designed the system we needed, and gave very clear options. All the paperwork was done very smoothly, including that to the distribution company for authorising the connection to the network as 5kWp, and we were kept fully informed throughout despite supply chain disruption post Covid. The actual installations were carried out over a very short timeframe, a couple of days each time, with scaffolding arranged, installed and dismantled close to the panel installation and wasn't left for ages like some do. As for performance... A household of 6 and we effectively have no energy bill for 6 months of the year! With the PV and battery sizing, and an appropriate export tariff, we are easily breakeven on cost over the year for our electricity. In summary. Great advice. Easy to deal with. Friendly and very helpful install team. No mess or problems. Competitive on cost. Definately recommend and would use them again.

We approached WRE 4 years ago for advice about air sourced heat pumps. Since then they have installed heat pumps, upgraded radiators in our old house, plus underfloor heating and solar panels for a new extension. Their work and customer support has been top class, helping us work around building delays, occasionally difficult times with other tradesmen on site and an unusual component failure which required replacement of the main water tank. Our house is now almost finished. We would recommend WRE without hesitation to anyone considering similar projects.

Worcester Renewable Energy designed, supplied, installed and commissioned my heating and hot water systems back in 2018. The whole system works like a dream. It is energy efficient and easy to use. Worcester Renewable Energy continue to be reliable and efficient in their annual service of the air pump. I cannot fault this company and would not hesitate in recommending them.

Visited WRE forum to learn about merits of Air Source Heat Pump and decided good system to replace Oil heating. WRE provided all information to help in process of change, and were most helpful professional all the way through the transition of installation to completion including formal application to grants available at the time. I have enjoyed and been very satisfied with result, including after sales and servicing.

They serviced and supported our original ground source system which was installed by another company in 2008. When the compressor failed on the original system Worcester Renewable Energy Ltd designed and installed the replacement air source system. The team at Worcester Renewable Energy are responsive, caring, professional and the customer service experience has always been great. The engineers are all polite, keep everything clean and tidy, know their stuff and deliver excellent service every time.

There are plenty of scare stories in the press about renewable energy installers. Worcester are definitely one of the good guys. Our Eccodan ASHP system was designed and installed in a Border Oak new build in 2017. It has worked faultlessly since the day we moved in. We have retained Worcester for annual service calls and are encouraged that the engineers who did the initial installation are still with Worcester 8 years later. Good people. Efficient and nice to deal with. No complaints at all.

Following a recommendation by Border Oak, who built our oak frame/SIPS house, we hired Worcester Renewables to install PV, Heat Pump, Underfloor Heating and MVHR. Brilliant experience with Worcester Renewable Energy Ltd. who have just completed a big project at our house installing an Air Source Heat Pump system and Solar PV. Initial engagement with the company is unusual - they provide a big form for you to fill in before they produce an initial design and quotation. The form could be daunting for some. After the form is done, the engagement with the company has been brilliant throughout. They are willing to answer any questions, engage in discussion to tailor the plans to your precise needs. The survey visit is efficient and friendly. When they get on site, the team works incredibly hard. In two weeks we moved from a problematic micro-bore gravity fed system to a modern pressurised system centred on the new Air Source Heat Pump. The team left the house in a good state each evening. We were without hot water for only one night. At the end of the project the house was left extremely neat and tidy. During installation the team took on small changes to the scheme very happily. The system is in and working really well. Right now we are importing about 25% of the energy we would have used with the old heating system. (Note - the photo of the heat pump was taken before the pipes were insulated; the brick wall is where the gas flue used to be.) The company's website does not (at the time of writing) have a security certificate. This means you may receive security warnings from your browser. Don't let this put you off from engaging with this company who have delivered such a great experience for us.
