Gerry was an absolute star! He was warm, friendly and knew what he was doing. Our drains were unblocked quite quickly but he went the extra mile to ensure it was fully cleared, and then even fixed a small leak on the undersink pipework in the kitchen. A pleasure to deal with and very pleased with the result!

One of their drivers needs Police intervention - one of their vans just tailgated me, with my 4 year old daughter in the car, through a NSL. Dangerous and pig headed behaviour on the road - set off earlier if you've got a job to get to! Utterly disgusting behaviour, and a blight on the company

George did a fantastic job with no fuss or mess. Last time I tried to un block the sewer myself I got stuck in the the hole and had to be rescued cheers.

Very professional company. Organised a look over and quote for aco drains, organised easily and Darren came on time to have a look. The work wasn't actually viable unfortunately (due to the property layout) so didn't go ahead - but they were very friendly, organised, professional, and honest, so despite not seeing their work i would recommend Canford Drains on that basis.

Craig came to my rescue to unblock a rain drain which had been causing dampness on a wall in the house. With a cup of tea & his super powers, Craig had resolved the problem in super quick time. Highly recommend Craig’s services 😊

Terrific job done renewing our main sewer drain and replacing two manholes. A really professional service performed from start to finish. I would have liked a set of manhole keys to lift the cast iron manhole lids, and one of the new manholes was covered in rust so I had to clean it up and paint it myself. Absolutely amazing service for my dad. Craig (I think that was his name) was so kind and friendly and sorted the blocked drains despite restricted access, dreadful weather and all kinds of tree roots blocking the drain. I don’t think the drains had been seen to for about a hundred years. Exceptional service, attended in less than an hour and was so sweet to my auntie and dad. One million percent recommended. I've been trying to reach them for four weeks with multiple follow-up calls. They keep asking me to send emails, but after I do, I receive no response.

George attended today after we were having problems with a toilet that drained very slowly. He found the problem and explained what he was seeing on the camera images. He then proceeded to work to clear the blockage, which had the potential to lead to a fully blocked drain, and left us with a perfectly working system. I have no hesitation in recommending George and his company for any drains work you require.

Used this company on Saturday 4th January 2025. Had a major problem with our sinks and toilet not draining away. Needed some urgent help but was sceptical who to ring. After a few searches on Google I found Canford Drains who had overall amazing internet reviews. Called the owner who sent one of his operatives within 1 hour , I was kept informed of the arrival time constantly. The operative was professional , experienced and sorted the problem within less than an hour. Bearing in mind this was an emergency call out on a Saturday morning and all was sorted within 2 hours of me ringing the cost was very fair. No payment demanded , sent an invoice a few days later. Unbelievably helpful - even though they were really short-staffed & non-stop-busy they squeezed this job in for my elderly mum-in-law and unblocked drain within 24 hrs - from the first lady i enquired with on the phone (really sorry i didnt take your name..), to Mark who called to assess the problem & sorted a visit, to Darren who came out early the next morning and did the job super quick - you all helped so much to take the worry out of the situation & were just a really impressive team. Mark has been extremely helpful and understanding on a number of occasions over the phone. We had previously been told by a cowboy company (unbeknownst to us at the time!) that we had thousands of pounds worth of damage and it was urgent we have it done as soon as possible. Phoned Canford Drains (a local company), who reassured us, that with the symptoms we were describing it doesn’t sound as bad as we first thought. Scott has come out to carry out a CCTV survey of our drains today. He has been excellent with showing us the footage, explaining thoroughly what issues there are, how severe / minor they are, and what can be done . This will then all be written up in a report for us along with the footage. (I think this is quite important - the other company didn’t offer us this). Honest and reliable company - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will definitely be our first port of call with any further issues with ours or our families drains.

I'm currently renovating a property that has been empty for more than 2 years so felt it appropriate to have the drainage system checked & cleaned in preparation for my eventual occupation. To be honest, I didn't ring around for this service - based on previous reviews I only contacted Canford Drains. I haven't been disappointed. True to his word Mark fitted me in at the earliest opportunity. Darren & George did a great job making sense of my system, thoroughly & methodically cleaning everything out & allowing me the opportunity to view the images from the camera. Darren explained everything and put my mind at ease. All very professional. No hesitation in recommending the company.

I've had Canford Drains over twice now - most recently to replace a section of subsided pipework. Fantastic service, brick driveway was put back like nothing has happened. One to keep in the contact list for whenever they are needed and shows why they are so highly rated locally.

Rang at 9am as outside drain was overflowing and by 11am all was sorted, wasn't an easy job as turns out our drain system is a bit oddly designed but Craig and Costa weren't going to be beaten! Nice guys and a great job, would 100% recommend

Phoned at 7.30 am and they were round by 2.20 pm ( I’d said I wouldn’t be home until 1.30). Fantastic service as always !! I have used Canford Drains for home & work, we had a major issue with overflowing drains at 5:30 on a Friday night when most company’s have gone home, called Canford Drains & Darren was there within 40 minutes. Darren sorted the problem by identifying the issues in more than one drain on our property. Jet washed & cleared the problem. Scott the drainage technician got straight to work, found and unblocked the blockage within 5 minutes! I can not recommend Canford Drains highly enough. They are such an efficient and professional company. I manage a large rental property and often have issues with the drains. They are really quick to respond and get the job done - the issue is always resolved. They saved me from a major issue on Christmas Eve! Absolutely brilliant service. The workmen are always polite and explain everything in detail. They also do not try to add things on that you do not need (like other drainage companies). A very trustworthy and professionally run company. I will never use any one else!

Literally couldn’t fault Canford Drains who came to our rescue on Bank Holiday Sunday and were with us just over an hour after calling them. I can not recommend them enough! I’ve used them on a few occasions and they have always been fantastic however the last time I used them they went above and beyond to help us. They’re very Professional but friendly and made me feel at ease that they knew what they were doing. After being quoted over £14 000 for a job by another company I got them round for a 2nd opinion from the start they were sure that work wouldn’t need to be carried out at all and that the problem would just be a blockage somewhere. They came back the same day done a camera survey and within 30 minutes they had cleared the blockage. The compassion they showed was something I’ve never experienced with any company and no words I can say can thank them enough. After days of stress about having to pay out £14 000+ they sorted the whole problem and knew exactly how to do it. Thank you again Canford Drains!

We needed the mains sewer replaced underneath the back garden. Andy and Tom did a great job. Restored everything back to normal. Friendly and chatty. They went the extra mile. Very pleased. This is a company which you can trust. They deliver.

Phoned Canford Drains to get them to come and unblock a drain in the garden as we have found them really good in the past. After some questions they worked out that the drain was most likely a water board one so they gave us the direct number to call Wessex Water, who sorted the problem. The neighbours and I were very impressed by the knowledge and honesty shown by Canford Drains, they really helped us today despite not having to come out!

Andy arrived on a dark 17.30 evening did his best to fix the problem he said he would be back in the morning. 9am arrived within 10 minutes problem solved. Thankyou Andy .

Phoned Canford Drains on the recommendation of a very satisfied customer, the lady who answered the phone was so helpful and pleasant and she sorted a visit within a few hours! Gerry was the engineer who arrived and sorted our blocked drain with the minimal of fuss! Had a blocked drain. Called Canford Drains after 5pm and left a voicemail. Mark called me back within 10 minutes and arranged for Gerry to come round the following morning. Gerry arrived at 8:30am and within an hour had sorted out the problem. This is the second time I have used Canford Drains and their service is first class.

Lytchett Matravers Pavilion has had a long standing issue with drainage due to nothing being flushed out properly in approximately 30 years. This was until this morning when Gerry turned up! On ringing the office and we were greeted by the most pleasant receptionist who was helpful, polite and informed us on charges for call out and associated costs immediately. An operative was arranged for 8am the next morning. Gerry arrived promptly and started working on the problem immediately. He was patient, helpful and very knowledgeable. Further advice was given to help avoid future issues including the use of CCTV to survey the drains. We would recommend Canford Drains without hesitation to others and thank them for providing excellent customer service.

Gerry came early in the morning and although it was a complicated job due to no visible drains in our garden he managed to work out where our drains emptied out, 3 properties further down in their front garden, he was with us for 4 hours and he didn’t get flustered, lots of investigative work, he managed to clear not just mine but my neighbours blockage too. Friendly guy, arrived at 14 35 Sunday and left 15 20 after jet washing the drain, which unblocked the drain. The amount charged for an hours work came to 168 pounds in total.. Unfortunately, I have had trouble with my drains before and never paid such and extortionate amount of money, regardless of what day it was. Tried for the last 2 days to pay this bill but nobody will answer the phone.

Recently lowered my drain and widened my driveway entrance. Totally fabulous job and fantastic people in the field and the office staff. Realistic price and happy to pay it. I am now a totally happy person as don't really like getting workman in especially as I'm on my own but had zero worries the whole time they were working. They cleared up as they went and had everything under control. I didn't stress at all and that's saying something as am a complete stress head. Such a fine company and will tell anyone who asks.

We had a leaking mains water pipe under the path to the side of the house. Prompt visit by Canford Drains to investigate & then within a few days the 2 lads came out, dug deep & resolved the leak in double quick time. Excellent & friendly service, well recommended.

Rang Canford drains as we have a blocked drain. When I explained that it was a shared drain between my neighbour and I the extremely helpful man explained that as it is a shared sewer between two houses Wessex water were responsible and they should attend and clear the blockage for free.
