I am 87 years old and I am bed bound in a hospital bed in my lounge. At the end of November 2025, my boiler stopped working properly, and I had no central heating. The plumber came to look at it. He said he would come back with a new part and fix it. After two weeks he got in touch to say that he had been busy doing jobs for other customers. I thought I would be a priority because of my age and disability. He said that he would come to my property in another two weeks, just before Christmas but he cancelled that appointment aswell. Over the Christmas period it was very cold and I had no central heating. I had to book another plumber, but my boiler wasn't fixed until the new year. For six weeks I went without central heating and hot water in my taps. I would definitely not recommend this plumber.

Gavin came over to look at our mixing shower that wasn't getting hot! Having a young family and no shower wasn't ideal but he sourced a new one and fitted very quickly! Great job and great price!

We’ve had quite a bit of work carried out by GLD over the past few years - pipework moved for washing machine, new radiator thermostats fitted, shower/sink/toilet/towel heater installed, radiator moved and boiler serviced. Their prices are competitive and the works have always been carried out in a polite, clean (as possible!) and professional manner. Would definitely recommend.

Recently had a leak in my old hot water tank which Gavin came round to fix at the weekend. Saved me from a disaster! Whole system needed upgrading with new boiler and controls. Gavin and team completed the work in three days. They are professional, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Taking a real pride in their work and happy to explain what they are doing.
