Friendly, professional and tidy, and the whole job was done with minimum fuss. It’s so nice dealing with tradespeople who are reliable, easy to talk to and clearly take pride in their work. New to the area. Hit the jackpot when looking for an emergency plumber. The Friendly Plumber was the only one who responded immediately and sent a lovely engineer soon after. He replaced toilet fill valves and siphons on 2 toilets and additionally came across the loft tank which was heavily covered in lime scale and the flow of water was blocked. It took many hours to drain the tank and remove the scale. All done to my total satisfaction and great relief. I highly recommend this company and wouldn’t choose anyone else.

Really pleased with installation of replacement boiler. Joel uncounted problems with old wiring but stayed until 10.00 pm to ensure our heating would be working for us. Unlike too many other companies they returned telephone calls and arrived on the promised date. Would highly recommend.

Recently moved into the area and contacted The Friendly Plumber for some general maintenance work at our new home. Dan was able to visit within a couple of days and was indeed friendly, extremely helpful and offered practical no nonsense advice. As it turned out, the original work quoted for proved unnecessary upon Dan's physical inspection of it and, as a customer, I really appreciated that he didn't proceed (and charge) for this work, but instead just did what was required to actually fix the problem - this level of trust seems hard to find these days from service providers and is why I would absolutely have the confidence to use TFP again. As a bonus, Dan was even happy to fix a leaky outdoor tap that wasn't even the original reason for his visit. Great service overall and would highly recommend - keep up the good work!

Jack was thorough and tidy.

We had terrible water pressure for months before Jack’s team came and investigated. Multiple plumbers had tried and failed to find the cause. After a 10 minute diagnostic appointment, they found the issue and a few days later, came and replaced the offending part. We are now back to full pressure and couldn’t be happier. The Friendly Plumber is so aptly named! They came out within a few days of being contacted as our boiler stopped working. They were so thorough in their checks and made sure everything was looked in to. As it transpired we needed a new boiler. The quote for the job came through and they have been and fitted a new boiler all within the week. I cannot thank them enough for everything. We now have hot water and heating in the house! The new boiler is in place and has been fitted brilliantly. We have new thermostats as well, I am so grateful to Jake and his team! They are absolutely brilliant and they come with our highest recommendation. Thank you!

The Friendly Plumber has previously been out twice in emergency situations to sort out leaking pipes. Both times the response has been very quick and efficiently dealt with. This time they were contacted to service the boiler. The plumbers were punctual, serviced the boiler and gave a full explanation of what had been done. A very neat and tidy job well done. After my old boiler finally gave up, Jake came out the same day and after diagnosing the fault arranged to install a new combi boiler a few days later. Very pleased with the work and good communication throughout.

We called The Friendly Plumber late Friday night because a leak appeared in the kitchen. Joel came within 30 minutes. He ascertained where the leak was coming from. With the water turned off he quickly replaced the damaged pipe which involved some tricky manoeuvre as there was a vanity board which made life more complicated. The work was done neatly and efficiently. He gave advice on the drying out process and left everything in good order. We were delighted with everything that The Friendly Plumber did. We have no hesitation in recommending The Friendly Plumber.

Joel has done a major job for us, fitting a new centralheating boiler in a rented property and in our own house got OUR central heating working efficiently again and sorted out dripping taps. Both properties are elderly but he managed to find stopcocks, overflow tanks etc quickly. He is reliable, works quickly and tidily and can explain what he is doing and why. His costs are reasonable. We will definitely be using him for all our plumbing and heating issues in the future and recommending him to others

We needed to have our kitchen tap replaced. The plumber came the next day with the tap we specified, arriving earlier than the estimated time (which was great). The work was carried out quickly and efficiently and thoroughly tested, sorting out an uneccesary maze of pipes in the process. A very professional job. I can thoroughly recommend them.

Came to a call out (Feb 2022 Maidenhead) when my boiler wouldn’t work. Told me the fan needed replacing £500 + VAT. Quoted me for a new boiler instead circa £2,500 + VAT. Turns out after Homeserve visited that there was nothing wrong with the fan. Boiler fixed in 5 seconds by replacing the fan Joel removed. DON’T USE
