James Paterson & Sons Plumbing & Heating Ltd drew praise from one customer for helpful staff and excellent customer care, and another reviewer described a professional service. One customer said James was friendly, knowledgeable and punctual, arriving at the stated time, and that he changed a well pressure tank in under an hour. However, another reviewer reported that six years after a boiler installation, a pump had burst and black water came through their ceiling. That reviewer said an inspection found the installation had been done badly and the pipes threaded wrongly, and that the systems had not been flushed.

6 years after having boiler installed, came back holiday to find black water dripping through my ceiling. Pump had burst off the back and exploded everywhere leaving me needing a plumber and a decorator. On inspection I was advised terrible job of installing and had been threaded wrongly. All houses in the street ha e had problems and none of the systems had been flushed...avoid avoid avoid. I wish i could add pictures of the pump and mess.
