Over the last few years, when we have needed a plumber, Adam and Joe have been the first choice. When our shower tap couldn't be repaired, the guys made sure we had a temporary replacement while they got the parts. Even then, they were back the day after and fitted the replacement. A friendly and professional local business. I will happily recommend them to anyone.
I'm not sure this review will do justice to Adam and Joe from Pltainum Plumbing but I'll try !! Contacted them after cold water tank in loft sprang a leak and flooded a room below. Turned out the same afternoon, sourced replacement and fitted next day. Identified an issue with hot water tank and fitted and replaced; the fitting process was by no means straightforward but they worked all day to resolve late into the evening. Have also commissioned them to fix long standing problem with hot water flow that numerous other plumbers said could not be resolved. They are complete professionals - courteous, prompt, explain clearly any issues and the approach they intend to take and then execute as promised. I cannot recommend them highly enough and would recommend them without hesitation. Top class nice people who provide an outstanding service.
Great service, we had to have the shower pump and bar replaced as it no longer worked properly. They worked quickly with no issues and left it very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend them.
Adam & Joe are a pleasure to have working in our home. They have done several projects for us now including replacing & upgrading our heating system, plumbing in a new sink & servicing our boiler. I had a leak in a radiator, but I have a specific type of heating (geothermal) and I rang about 15 plumbers before I found Adam. I’m so glad I did. He was so nice, knew exactly what needed to be done, kept in communication about arrival time, and fixed a job everyone else said they couldn’t do in half an hour. I also have a rescue dog who is terrified of people coming in, and they were both so understanding and kind. Really decent people, and I will definitely use again. Thank you, both.

They saved us a significant amount of money as we were about to pay a lot out to have a full system flush and they were able to diagnose and fix the issue for a fraction of the cost. From the offset they were a pleasure to deal with and guided us through the various options available to us. They completed the work in a timely manner and to a very high standard. Quote Was A Lot Higher Than Expected!! I reached out to Platinum Plumbing for help with a plumbing job and was pleased with how quickly they responded and how professional they were during the initial visit. However, I was a bit surprised by the quote they provided—it was noticeably higher than what I expected based on similar jobs and a couple of other estimates I received. I fully respect that skilled work deserves fair compensation, and I have no doubt they do quality work. That said, the pricing just didn’t quite fit within my budget this time. I ultimately went with another licensed plumber who offered a more competitive rate for the same type of work. Just for transparency; I paid £360 for the job in the end elsewhere (exactly the same job) as I was quoted for with Platinum Plumbing so nothing different to account for the huge price difference and I had another quote at £500 so the quote of £940 from this company was massively different. Platinum Plumbing may still be a good fit for some, especially if you’re looking for fast service and a professional approach. I’d just recommend getting a couple of quotes to ensure you’re comfortable with the pricing, especially in today’s climate.
Another top notch service from the team at Platinum Plumbing. Just had the boiler and gas fire serviced, along with the replacement of a radiator valve that was well past its shelf life. Efficient and friendly service with everything fully cleaned away leaving no mess. Highly recommended.

We had boiler issues over Christmas and despite their family being on a Christmas break, they went out of their way to come and fit a new boiler for us. Adam & Joe suggested an alternative cheaper option of a purpose built dog shower rather than the shower enclosure we had asked for & they were spot on. No more carrying a muddy cocker up the stairs to have the bathroom walls spattered. Job left clean & tidy and is used most days. Would highly recommend Platinum for your plumbing needs.

I had a different company fit a shower and the actual shower never worked, they did not know how to fix it. I asked platinum plumbing to come and help and they figured out the shower had a fault, they installed a new shower which works perfectly. Would highly recommend.

Amazing customer service. Adam helped us with the gas leak and reinstating it. Because I was overcautious and I started smelling gas after some time again, he came as soon as possible and reassured me that everything is fine. He also explained to me that our drop is very tiny and within the safety range, and there is no gas leak anywhere he tested. I will be defintely combing back to him for any other services! It is very important to have a trusted person!
Carried out a service on my Worcester boiler including fan replacement complete heat exchanger clean, boiler now back to a new condition. Also replaced pressure relief valves and refill pipe system on our advanced hot water tank system. Professional, punctual, friendly, honest, helpful, tidy, great value and a team (Adam & Joe) we continue to use. Highly recommended, do not bother searching anywhere else you will not find better.
I moved in to my new property and noticed a leak underneath the kitchen sink. Adam and Joe came out the next day to fix this, plus service my boiler and gas fire. My boiler was certified safe and my gas fire unsafe as there was no flute in the loft! Thankfully this was picked up quickly and I had them come back out to install a flute so that I could have a safe working gas fire which I look forward to using. I also called back the following day for an emergency call out (on a Sat) as I thought there was a leak from a pipe in the loft and in to my bathroom. Thankfully it was just condensation and Adam very kindly did not charge me for his visit. Communication is really good, ETA always given and Adam, Joe and Bev are all really helpful and friendly.
