After being completely let down by my builder, I had lost all faith in all trades people until I met Matt, he took on all my plumbing and heating nightmares with superb responses in every message and call I made, he set me on the right path with his advise, putting me on the right path for all my bathrooms and heating requirements. Matt and his team fitted a new radiator in our integral Garage and it has transformed the garage. Brilliant work and great team, very neat work, and they also serviced the boiler as well. Matt and the team replaced our old bathroom with a modern shower room. They provided a complete service, removing the old bathroom furniture and tiles and then plastering the one wall which wasn't being tiled, fitting new tiles on walls and floors and leaving us with a bathroom we can feel pleased with. They were easy to have around and got on with the task. We highly recommend them.

We called you last thu to do a water leak you said you would come Friday morning. You called at 1pm Friday to say you would see us soon . Many phone calls left messages on answer phone and a text you never came why ?

Matt and his partner turned up the next day after I left a negative review for not showing up for the appointment which I arranged 2 weeks earlier. They were supposed to change my outdoor tap, which was not screwed to the wall by the plumber who originally installed the tap . I tried to put some screws in , but the brick was split, and the plugs did not hold, nevertheless I left the screws in, rather than going through the hassle of removing them. The two of them were blocking my view, despite me asking to see what they were doing, (I wanted to learn what to do next time.) They were jokingly saying it was a trade secret. I noticed however the following morning, that the joint inside my kitchen was leaking. I called and left messages, but no response. I had to call my insurers to fix the leak, who then removed the leaking joint with a straight connection despite my protest. Now I don`t have an outdoor tap at all, as apparently they decide what an emergency fix is, and the customer has no involvement. Following this, I texted Matt, asking for my money back, his words were " I have no problem giving you your money back, I will drop it off for you"..amongst others he also accused me of twisting the pipe. Fact is, the screws which were loosely in the plugs before his visit, were now not in the plugs any longer, which made me conclude they lost grip and twisted the pipe , breaking the joint in the process. One week on , I am still waiting for my money back. Now one year on still waiting for my money back.

Matthew has replaced my bathroom and downstairs WC. Superb work both times, completed to a very high standard. Very good customer service and very helpful. I can highly recommend Matthew for all your plumbing needs

We have recently used Brierley Plumbing Limited and usually wouldn’t go far as to write a negative review but on this occasion I feel it is necessary to draw attention to our experience with them. What was only expected and quoted to be a 10 day job resulted in them being here for over 2 weeks. I understand that unforeseen circumstances such as covid, and our faulty flooring contributed to the time they spent here however the way in which the issues were dealt with was frankly unacceptable and highly unprofessional and far from apologetic. The communication from Brierley Plumbing was poor as was their attitude towards the job. After each day they failed to tidy up after themselves and due to the lack of initial planning on their behalf the work actually completed wasn’t done to a high standard. In addition to this, once the job was finally complete and the bill was sent to us we realised they had failed to remove the deposit, meaning that had we not been vigilant in checking our bill, we would have been overcharged. In saying this we understand mistakes can happen, however, once again no attempt to apologise was made. Little effort resolve these issues were made at the time and as a result of this we wouldn’t recommend using Brierley Plumbling LTD.

I thoroughly recommend Matt and his team! I contacted via the website late on a Sunday evening, following the boiler failure, and received a response within the hour. Matt arrived as arranged, investigated the boiler and advised two options - followed up by a written quote later the same day. Matt began the work when he said he would, working efficiently with a team who clearly interact well and respect each other. The guys were happy to explain what they were doing and the work was completed in the optimum time, tidying each day before they left and leaving virtually no trace on the final day. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending M Brierley Plumbing Ltd - thank you Matt and the team.

Matt and his team did a great job. The quote was reasonable and accurate and communication via email was always prompt. We had 4 radiators and a sink installed in 2 days, the team were polite, professional, helpful and tidy. I would not hesitate in recommending them.

Matt and his team got our new bathroom finished in much less time than it's taken me to write this review! Seriously, though, we're absolutely delighted with the work Matt and his team have done. They got out to see us quickly, gave a very competitive quote, and were able to start the work much sooner than we'd expected. Matt did a great job removing our old bath and installing a new shower cubicle, which we are very pleased with, no mess no hassle, all carried out in an efficient and professional manner Would definitely recommend and use them again.

Moving to a bungalow we were faced with a dreary, very dated bathroom with a pink bath and pine-clad ceiling. Matt and his team transformed it into a wonderful stylish space enhanced with a walk-in shower, mirror enhanced with LED lighting, spacious floor cabinet, etc. As we are not in the first flush of youth he installed helpful grab rails, etc. We had previously sought quotes from big-name companies specialising in bathroom make-overs but M Brierley Plumbing Limited offered much better value with a very attractive result. We love our new bathroom.

M Brierley Plumbing Limited is recommended in my view. Matt provided a complete bathroom replacement including floor and repair to ceiling. We provided a rough guide as to our requirements but left the design and details to him. I liked the fact that at critical stages during the build, tile choice for example, samples were provided. His first choices were spot on, wall and floor tiles were exactly as imagined. It was important for us to have the minimum amount of design input and this paid off using Matts experience and familiarity in the trade. The final result is amazing and just so nice to have the worst room in our home converted to a modern and presentable facility. Matt and his colleagues are a jolly crew and a pleasure in company and humour throughout their time here. M Brierley Plumbing accommodated all our requirements and exceeded in our expectations.

Matt recently converted our old single shower en-suite into a modern double shower. Looks amazing and we are very pleased. Matt and his colleague were polite, friendly and worked non stop to complete. At the end of each day they tidied up and left the room clean and tidy. I would certainly recommend. We will be using Matt again when we are ready to do our main bathroom!

Matthew and his team have worked tirelessly this whole week and in the coldest of weather to replace our boiler and water tank system! The house has been freezing as the boiler had broken a week earlier due to another fault. But we managed with electric heaters! They were a pleasure to have around the house trying to keep noise and interruptions to a minimum. It was difficult at times due to everyone being in the house and trying to homeschool at the same time was tricky! We got there though! Thanks for giving us a warm house again! Matt and his team have done a brilliant job and we couldn’t be more pleased with the finish. They have transformed our house having installed a new cloakroom, en suite shower room and moving internal walls to improve our hallway and lounge. The disruption was minimal and the whole team were really professional - particularly given the added issues with Covid. I would happily recommend them for all of their work. When it turned out that our internal wall that needed moving was actually a load bearing wall, this did not phase Matt and they got it sorted properly, even in the same planned timeframe. Plasterwork is immaculate, tiling is spot on, carpentry is very neat, and they happily adapted to our changing decisions on lighting. They left the house spotless and included a professional clean of the bathroom. The initial quote was very descriptive and easy to match against the final invoice - this is a rare thing in my experience. All in all it has been a pleasure to have Matt and his team in to improve our house and we would have them back. We had to put the work on hold twice when our son was awaiting outcomes a (negative) Covid test and they were back on site as soon as we got the all clear. Matt is a very communicative project manager and ran the job much more efficiently than other big name companies we have had in for other work in this and other houses. Thanks Matt!

Matt and team just finished a complete main bathroom renovation. Matt helped with design, product selection and sourcing for us. Team services included, electrics, plumbing, tiling, furniture assembly etc. Due to delivery damage we had to wait for a new shower tray which put us back several weeks,Matt accommodated our change in schedule and worked it all out. Got a fantastic clean and modern bathroom.

Matt and his team were amazing when my boiler suddenly stopped working. Matt managed to come round to have a look within a couple of hours of me phoning him, and by the next day we had a new boiler! He was great in advising us the best solution and ran through everything so we knew all our options. Very happy with the work M Brierley Plumbing have done. Now my go to plumbers!

We had two bathrooms refitted, one converted to a walk-in shower room, with a couple of tricky features. The work was done to a very high standard , especially the tiling by James. Communication was not always smooth, particularly on electrical issues, but this was more than made up for by the high standard of care and tidiness. Over Christmas, I had a query which Matt answered promptly while he was away on holiday - you can’t ask much better service than that! Would definitely recommend.

we had a complete refit of our bathroom,we were able to go away for the first week.hurrah.we actually had no idea of the amount of work involved and should have stayed away a bit longer.Matts team are an incredible bunch and work really hard.Nothing is too much trouble for them .We now have a beautiful bathroom.Bill came in as quoted , so no nasty surprises ,in fact we decided to have an extra wall tiled and this was done free of charge.

Bathroom refit and all started well with lots of promises. However.... 7-10 day job turned into 4 weeks. Multiple let downs and almost zero communication - messages and voicemails going unanswered regularly. Nice bath unit installed but plastering, flooring and skirting of poor quality and unfinished with no sealant. Hassle and finished product definitely not worth the cost. Should have gone with the other quote.
