The two young men who came to install the unit were very good. They were polite and friendly and did a very good job. They helped to remove items in their way and before they left they did a thorough job of cleaning up behind them and replaced the items back in the correct place. I highly recommend Griffiths.

We had our aircon system installed last week. The install took two days to complete and was completed without incident. The Engineers Olly and Tom were excellent they updated us on each part of the process their work was very neat and they were both extremely accommodating, very clean and professional cost was very competitive in relation to other firms so would definitely recommend Griffiths and will use them again in the future.

We had air conditioning installed four years ago. They have serviced it ever since then. Their service is first class. Would firmly recommend them.

Having had Solar Panels fitted by Griffiths some 3 years ago I had no hesitation in contacting them regarding Air Conditioning. Following a most helpful - no buying pressure - survey by Ian we decided to proceed with a four room ducted unit for upstairs and a single wall unit for the downstairs lounge. Installation of the ducted unit required the installers to work in the attic in extremely hot conditions - which they did without complaint. The Lounge unit installation was also complicated by an exterior verandah. The installers had to drill at an acute angle for the pipework which took 90 minutes, again in very hot conditions. Nonetheless they undertook the task without complaint and hence achieved an excellent result both technically and visually. The installers left the installations clean, tidy and looking immaculate. Subsequent minor problems with water leakage were very quickly resolved, (notably by Jake, Jay and Finlay) again with professional, clean and tidy work. All installers and engineers were amicable, helpful and clearly took geniune professional pride in a job well done. An excellent installation all-round at a fair price. Office staff are easy to contact, quick to answer the telephone and are consistently most helpful. I would have no reservations in strongly recommending Griffiths. A great, local, family run company.

Punctual, professional service. Solar panels were fitted with minimum fuss; using their own scaffolding tower meant that a separate scaffolding firm was not required and allowed them easy access to our roof from a small, awkward back garden. Very pleased with whole process from survey to fitting.

Can't fault the service from these guys. The team on site installing our air con were always helpful, professional and polite. Even with a small issue, they were out within an hour and fixed the next morning - in a heatwave, you can't complain at that. Hopefully these systems will see us through endless summers.

After a mixup with dates, the team arrived to install our air conditioning system. It was promised that it would be done within a day, and it was. A couple of days later, one of the wall units seemed to be just a fan rather than air con. We called Griffiths at 9.00am and someone was sent round by 11.00am. It just needed some refrigeration top up. Very fast, very clean and tidy and very good-humoured. Thank you. We would happily recommend Griffiths and hopefully, use them again for solar panels.

Have been using Griffiths for several years now without complaint. They installed our aircon systems and we have a yearly contract whereby they service both units twice a year. Engineers who visit always very polite and friendly and happy to help/answer questions. Office staff also always friendly and helpful when contacted.

Our experience is good but we have had multiple problemss that have required multiple visits from Griffiths engineers under our Gold Repair/ servicing contract

We were recommended by a neighbour 11 years ago to use Griffiths. We had Solar panels, a Heat Pump and underfloor heating installed. We have now used them again to have Storage battery and an EV Charger fitted. On sunny days we are now self sufficient. Griffiths are a great family run business that are friendly, efficient and easy to contact. We have recommended them to others because you know what to expect and at a realistic price and quality.

I was asked to give feedback. We chose to stop our oil boiler in 2008 & asked Griffiths to quote for an air source heat pump system . 18 years ago they knew what they were doing and designed our system with improvements from our original specification. 18 years later the same system is still running beautifully. Equipment must have improved over the years but ours has been very reliable.. However we have an annual contract which is a must for peace of mind. I think we have only had a call-out outside annual visits twice in all this time. It is noticeable that their team of engineers have built up their knowledge base over the years. Would I recommend Grittiths based on our e xperience? Absolutely! An exemplary local family firm with probably most ASHP (heat pump) knowledge than any other firm im the area. If there are still grants to be claimed from the Government for house owners, then they can advise on that too. We are very happy costumers who picked the right contractor in 2008!

I contacted many companies about getting AC fitted to the house and decided to go to Griffiths AC. Price was competitive and the service from start to finish was outstanding. The installation guys professionalism was second to none and they could not do enough for us and placed everything where we wanted (well they came up with better locations which we thought was impossible!!) - nothing was too much trouble. The guys ensured everything was completed satisfactory and cleaned up every day before going home and made sure it worked before finishing the whole project. Could not ask for a better service / company. Glad i chose Griffiths AC. Heating via AC over winter was very cheap and now just can wait for the hot weather to come in the summer

Installation was done with care and thought to ensure it was what we wanted to achieve. Tidy and polite team.

Installed an ashp and water tank during a house refurb. They were good but several small issues soon build up and make you doubt the quality of all their work. They unclipped water pipes and left them floating because it was easier. Pushfit connectors were used close to the water tank and left undone and under pressure against joists. Drip pipe was installed slopping into the house. Now no response about booking in the “free” 6 month service or fixing any of these issues

Paid £150 for a service where I raised loss of pressure and a noise. Told it needed a re-visit to fix at £439, which I paid. The issue was not fixed. Contacted Griffiths again and was explicitly told the next visit on 16th December would be free. Engineer arrived, took minutes to say the expansion vessel wasn’t working and fixed it — then I was hit with a £389 bill anyway. After he left, I found scratches and grease on my floor where his toolbox had been placed to stand on. Griffiths denied this outright. On the original installation visit, a younger engineer used my bathroom and left it with a strong, unpleasant smell, leaving the property sniggering — completely unprofessional. Multiple payments, broken promises, property damage, and zero accountability. Would not recommend.

Had a heat pump installed by them in 2019 which wasn't configured correctly (30C flow rate left with a radiator setup, not underfloor heating) so I've ended up working with the manufacturer and servicing it myself for the last six years. During installation, they pierced the mains cold pipe and water leaked onto a plasterboard ceiling which they refused to replace and only offered to paint over the bubbled ceiling. One after another, the thermostatic valves they installed have been failing and leaking out of the top so I called them twice this year to ask for a replacement of these, a power flush, and a service; all of which I was prepared to pay for, not asking for as warratable fixes. Twice called, twice no call back. Honestly, it's just not a company I could recommend on any level as they simply don't give a toss.

We had solar panels and a battery fitted yesterday and already benefiting from free electricity, currently using practically zero from the grid! Having thought about this for years we got a couple of quotes from local companies and Griffiths came up as the best, most responsive (they were on site within 2 days doing a site survey!). Just a few weeks later and after 2 days work with a great bunch of friendly professional engineers, we have solar panels on the roof of the house and garage, and a compact 10kw battery in the garage, and could see as soon as it was switched on that we started to benefit from free electricity immediately! A really good company, and a very nice team who really know their stuff. Highly recommended!

We recently chose Griffiths Air Conditioning & Electrical Contractors to install solar panels for our property. We had looked around previously, but finally decided on this local company which already had excellent reviews. We are so glad with our decision. With the solar installation up and running, we have now received an update from our energy company informing us that we are now linked so that excess electricity from our panels is being sold to the grid. We did not have to worry about which panels were needed or how many - Griffiths sorted it all out for us. When installation started, the team arrived and were immediately at work. They worked very hard, were extremely polite and left no mess. At the end, the only evidence left behind were the solar panels, control unit and battery! The installation was then checked by Griffiths and everything was set and working. We cannot praise this company enough and would be more than happy to recommend them to friends who may wish to travel down the green energy route. For us, it really has been excellent choice and the final part of our journey to a totally "green home".

We had an air source heat pump installed by Griffiths in April 2025. Throughout the whole process the team was professional, communication excellent and explanations of the workings were great. We were particularly impressed by the way they cleaned up afterwards each day, the works they made good once the installation was complete (eg the shelving in the cupboard with the new tank was reconstructed) and how they returned immediately to rectify the issue when there was a slight leak in the system. These are highly skilled individuals who work exceptionally well as a team to provide superb service and a great outcome. We are very pleased with our new heat pump. In May 2025 we had solar panels fitted. Again great professional team. Superb workmanship and we are incredibly happy with the outcome. They responded to all our queries and resolved all our issues in a timely manner. There were some interesting challenges for which they found great solutions. We would definitely recommend Griffiths for both heat pump and solar panel installation.

Griffiths Air Con was recommended to us by friends who rated them 100%. We had one unit fitted in the upstairs dormer bedroom which in summer becomes a sauna. OMG what a change. The unit, its installation, twice servicing each year, the employee's are all exemplary. We're not related to anyone in the company, so I can honestly say you will not be let down. The prices are competitive but it's the reliability and customer service that counts, and on those 2 points alone, Griffiths excels.

Griffiths installed my heat pump 9 years ago and it hasn't missed a beat since. It costs less to run than my old gas boiler, plus no break downs or smelly fumes. Any interaction with Griffiths has been positive and I have often and will continue to recommend. Get a Heat pump and free yourself from burning toxic fossil fuels (and save a few quid in the process)

Latest installation by Griffiths was air source heat pump heating system which was installed very efficiently by helpful, pleasant and friendly workmen. I have also had air conditioning and a replacement solar panel inverter which were all installed to an excellent and efficient standard.

Great service from Griffiths, from initial site visit, looking at various options available to install by friendly engineers. This is our second install after our garage conversion into an annex, they installed aircon and underfloor heating. We didn't hesitate going back to Griffiths to add aircon/heating into the new garage. We also have the units serviced twice a year. Very easy to schedule in with the office. Recommended.

Extremely aggressive van driver (KP68 UNR) almost run me off the road, then mounted the pavement with both nearside wheels to cut the queue at a roundabout. Wouldn't want anyone with that mentality in my house!

Brilliant prompt service from Griffiths yesterday. It was a Sunday coldest day of year so far. 5th January it was snowing and I woke up to my heat pump not working. I have Gold service plan with Griffiths what a fantastic service they provide. Ian came out and sorted the problem and I was warm and cosy again in no time. I've been using Griffiths since January 2023 for servicing on my Daikin Air Source Heatpump. Their engineers are excellent and Henry who has just carried out a service today was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Based on my experience so far I would highly recommend Griffiths for servicing and I am sure they are equally good at new installations. Its so important to use a good experienced company like Griffiths if you are thinking of getting a heat pump as they will carry out proper heat loss calculations before recommending what sized heat pump you need and then taking care of installation and servicing.

HEAT PUMP REVIEW More realistic cost than some others, ~ £2k cheaper than some others. Not always the fastest to reply and sort things out, but OK. I am the landlord and haven't seen the heat pump but the tenant reported that they were professional and tidy in the installation. The heat pump has been quiet. We think the cost is similar or lower than gas, but we haven't done proper calculations. There was one issue on the first day but quickly resolved and since then has done well for its first winter, heating an old house with only slightly better than average insulation, and without needing to be on all the time. The unit inside the kitchen was a little larger than a gas boiler. According to our calculations will cut climate emissions by 70%-80%. EDIT: Turned out that a mistake had been made in the installation and it kept making errors and the system had to be reset all the time.However, they came and fixed it without charge.

Highly recommended company very professional and reliable

This company installed a heat hump next door to me. They disregarded all of the guidelines and located it as close to my property as they could. Everything attached to the heat pump on the inside of the house is meant to be 1m away from a separating wall. They put it right next to it. I have to endure the most horrendous buzzing noise inside my house because something is vibrating against my wall. It sounds like I'm living in a fridge and it has destroyed my mental health. I reached out to them for help investigating it and the response was poor. I can't tell you how much it has been and still is ruining my life.

We had the Daikin Emura Air conditioning unit installed last week and we are really pleased with it. Sophie at the office has been really helpful and the lads who installed the unit, Jake and Thomas, were very professional, clean and took time to explain to me how the unit works and how to set it up on my phone. I would not use this company again. The guys who do the work are fine, although they did install our system incorrectly and it has taken them several goes to put it right, dispite diagnosing the problem they had to have 2 more visits and me chasing them to get the system fixed. I am now going to have my system independantly assesed to make sure it is fitted correctly.

From the first phone call to Griffiths Air Conditioning we were very impressed with the friendly and quick response to our enquiry. The home survey by Ian gave great advice about the choice of units and how the installation would be carried out. Within a week the fitters arrived and after 8 hours, every thing was very professionally installed. Since the multi split air heat pump system has been installed, we have used the heating and cooling and it has all worked better than we could have hoped for. We are now waiting for the summer heat and being able to sit in the cool, Happy days. All the team that were involved were brilliant. A great company and would definitely recommend.

A superb level of service from quote to completion of the project. Griffiths designed and installed an Air Source Heat Pump system as part of our renovation project. I was impressed by their expertise, not only in the work on site but also by their communication and reporting of progress. Having never overseen an ASHP project before, the clear explanations and advice from Griffiths helped us enormously. Some minor teething issues (not the fault of Griffiths) were resolved with their customary speed and friendliness. Knowing you're a valued customer counts for a lot.

Wow, a true gem for customer service. Leanne was amazing, i was too far away for the company to cost effectively service my solar thermal so she kindly went out of her way to find a more local service, polite well mannered and couldnt be more helpful.

I was unfortunate enough to have this company do some electrical work for me. They were punctual and seemed efficient but some very worrying and concerning issues emerged. One of the employees turned up to work smelling of alcohol and I have grave reservations about the safety of any work he may have done. What kind of electrical company allows a drunk to do electrical work? Some of the fittings have come loose over time meaning the quality of the work wasn't very good. And despite my best efforts they refuse to give me a certificate for the work completed. I tried to get this but they wouldn't help. It was a huge mistake to allow these people to do work or me. Please learn from my lessons and find someone else to complete this important work for you. I would not recommend them to my worse enemy. I'm response to the reply. I did report the matter to the relevant authority. I also spoke to you personally and you refused to issue a certificate for the work you carried out. Your rogue trader way of doing business is a real shame and I have no doubt others will be caught out. You knew you had an employee with alcohol issues working for you and you chose to ignore it. Shameful disregard for safety, but not a surprise sadly. You risk customer safety and then try to turn it on the customer. Nice! Says it all about your ethics as a person and as a company. I am sorry to hear that this person has passed. ***** I have been going through some paperwork in relation to this. We had a different electrician over to do some work and he commented on the work carried out by Griffiths.. The electrician, in his repot, said, 'in my opinion this is totally inappropriate and potentially dangerous.' I didn't say this, a qualified electrician did so in his report. I'll leave this here, but please learn from my experience and go elsewhere.
