Such a refreshing experience, to deal with PG Bones, after being let down by three "gas engineers" who had, over three weeks failed to attend or even phone. Time had been running out for me to comply with the servicing conditions, of the warranty on my 1yr old combi boiler. PG Bones offered an appointment, scheduled within 48hrs of my phone call. Anthony arrived, as promised. He was courteous, efficient, affable; worked tidily, completed the service and reset the boiler, which is now functioning more efficiently than at the original installation. Excellent customer service and competitive price. Many thanks for the skill and integrity, :-)

The jury is still out!! New boiler fitted about 4 weeks ago and we were without heating and hot water for 24 hrs and then again, from Fri afternoon until Monday morning. Sadly, had they worked Saturday the job would have been done and we would have been warm and comfortable. We have had to ask for further visit as we couldn't isolate the hot water and heating, it was ALL or NOTHING😰

We had a long standing problem with our underfloor heating, so when I called PG Bones I expected someone would call round, suck through their teeth and tell me how difficult and expensive the fix was going to be. What I actually got was Anthony, who got to, found where the problem was and pretty much solved it in 3 hours. And the bill was reasonable for the time he spent here. Thanks - I would recommend.

Very impressive service. PG Bones have attended my new build property twice over the past 12 months to deal with snagging related issues both with the boiler and plumbing pipes as well as external guttering. On both occasions, Antony Wright was sent out. He was courteous, very knowledgeable and really took his time to explain things as well as giving useful tips to help with longevity of appliances. A very professional and helpful member of the team whom I would have no hesitation in recommending. If all of their staff are as good as Antony, I would highly recommend PG Bones.

They were asked to do a simple boiler service on a house I was due to purchase. They told me I didn't need to be there, that they can pick up the keys from the estate agent and return them when the work was done. After apparently visiting the property they informed me that the boiler wasn't working and needed a new PCB at a cost of £237.18 + VAT + fitting. I was sceptical as the boiler always worked no problem on my visits to the property. PG Bones told me it must be an intermittent fault and charged me £54 for the call out. Still not convinced, I arranged for a different plumber to carry out the service and check whether the boiler worked OK. And guess what - it worked fine, fired up with no issues. Service was carried out and no problems flagged up. Nothing was wrong with the PCB. It's been nearly 8 months since PG Bones told me the boiler was broken, and it's been working flawlessly all this time. I paid £54 to PG Bones for no reason. I wouldn't use their services again.

Rude and unprofessional. Called out twice to the same job and failed to sort it on both occasions then charged me anyway. Can not believe they treat anyone like that. Use them at your peril.

Writing on behalf of my mother who had this company in to replace her shower. The person who did the shower made a complete mess of the bathroom which was not cleaned up, also he did not remove his boots whilst working in the bath. This has trodden dust and tile in to the bath and stratched and cracked it. They have treated my mother shockingly and have been so rude. I cannot believe that this treatment of a pensioner is still going on in this day and age. Let me stress the rating of one star is only because i cant give and big fat 0. Poor, poor , poor

I had a problem which was analysed by James a few days ago, and the new valve required was installed by Bill this morning. I just want to tell you that you have two absolutely first rate people on your team: courteous, punctual, obviously highly competent, and willing to explain to a dummy like me, what had gone wrong, and what they were doing. I and my wife were immensely impressed -and grateful. I almost look forward to next year's annual service! My thanks. I trust they have the opportunity to show younger guys just how the job should be done.

The team were really good and sorted out my hot water issue at a very reasonable price, i have added them to my address book and will definitely be using them again.

Appalling service since we first used them 9 years ago. They installed an underfloor heating system which has been plagued with problems and is now leaking in four places and has damaged ceilings and carpets. PG Bones have now advised, on the 4th December that they cannot get out to look at this for 2 weeks... Use them at your peril.
