We had John deal with a heavily textured hallway, stairs and landing ceilings a couple of years ago and have just used him again for the lounge skimming a lightly textured ceiling. Another excellent job carried out efficiently at a reasonable price. No hesitation recommending. Photo still drying out but has since dried to an excellent polished finish.

We had a new window fitted causing a big chunk of plaster to come away just before decorators were due so we needed a plasterer urgently. John gave a quote based on photos then came round on Saturday to assess the job. He came on Monday did a super job. He was quick to respond, came when he said he would and gave a high quality service, as well as being a nice guy! I would certainly recommend him.

We had a leak from the cold water tank in the loft which damaged the ceiling plasterboard above the stairs and stair landing. John removed the damaged ceiling board, replaced with new, removed the rest of the paper from the ceiling and replastered. We were happy with the price quoted and very pleased with the finished work. Turned out to be a very good choice. John was totally reliable arriving when he said he was going to arrive and progressing as predicted - so important (and rather unusual) when dealing with the building trade. I was impressed with the results too and would happily recommend him for other domestic plastering jobs. He was friendly and very easy to deal with - I felt very comfortable nipping out while he carried on working. In addition, he was respectful of the house, keeping the job contained within the room affected and using dust sheets to the front door. Everywhere else stayed remarkably clean throughout. And to cap it all, his fixed price remained a fixed price!
