Shape Conservation

Fantastic work completed, sympathetic to the building and a vast experience.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Aiden and his team at Shape Conservation on my cottage in Colehill, Wimborne, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The project involved carefully removing cement-based internal plaster and external render from the Cob walls, replacing them with a traditional lime-based solution. From start to finish, Aiden and his team demonstrated exceptional skill, professionalism, and respect for the heritage of my home. Their knowledge of conservation techniques ensured that the work was carried out to the highest standard, preserving the integrity of the Cob structure while significantly improving its breathability and long-term durability.

Shape Conservation was tasked to remove the old cement render on my cob house and replace it with lime mortar. A task they completed with great care and skill. Throughout the process the team was very friendly and professional - thank you.

We had our external rendering done by Malcolm which included removal of the existing cement render. We had a lime render applied which included some repairs on the cob walls all work was carried out to a high standard. We will be having Malcolm back for future projects. I would highly recommend Malcolm and Aiden of Shape conservation especially when it comes to lime work. thanks again Adam and Val
