Mothline Preservations Ltd

Very impressed with Joe, came quickly, knew immediately the issue, estimate arrived by next day, decent price, clear timescales and communication. Came on time, did the job. Left everything pretty clean and tidy. Very happy to recommend

Third job Joe has done for me. Very happy with the results.

Joe was very clear and professional, he carried out an invasive survey on our Victorian house. He offered a very good price and the turn around time from ringing him to carrying the survey out was less than a week. I would highly recommend his services.

Joe did a fantastic job on my damp Victorian terraced house. He was totally reliable with great communication and worked really hard. It wasn’t an easy job but he was always really pleasant to deal with. I would definitely use him again. Thanks Joe!

Joe arrived promptly to carry out a damp survey on my house and was very pleasant. He identified 3 areas where there were problems and explained clearly what the causes were and how to solve them. His report arrived quickly with photos of the problem areas and the solutions. I did find using something called wetransfer to view the survey was not quite as straight forward as an attachment to an email might have been; it kept asking me to create an account, but I did find that the survey could actually be accessed without doing so.

Joe was fantastic. We’d just bought our first house, not yet moved in, so had Joe sort out the damp issues before we’d moved in. The work was done timely and to great standard, all works needed doing were displayed visually in the quote, and communication was very easy. I would 100% recommend Mothline Preservations to anyone needing damp work.

Joe was amazing! Very honest and suggested what his recommendation would be. Willing to get the job completed quickly. Thanks Joe! Will definitely recommend 5 ⭐️

I called Mothline to look at sorting out previous damp proofing done about 8 months ago, which had not worked. Joe was thoroughly professional, obviously knew what he was talking about, and recommended a way forward. The work was commissioned and carried out with the minimum of fuss, on schedule, and to a really good standard - fixing all of the previous issues as well as one of the underlying causes of the damp through the failing damp proof membrane under the concrete floor. I would have no hesitation recommending Mothline to anyone who needs work done on damp proofing.

We were very pleased with the work carried out by Joe, he was also punctual, efficient and great with his communication. Highly recommend

We had a great experience with them for a recent mould inspection. From the very beginning, they were prompt, professional, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. It was a relief to deal with a company that was honest and transparent, they didn’t try to upsell us or recommend unnecessary work, which we really appreciated. Instead, they gave us clear, straightforward advice and carried out the inspection thoroughly. It’s hard to find companies these days that you feel you can truly trust, definitely earned our confidence. Highly recommended.

We had a very good experience with Joe. He was reliable, efficient and quick to complete some damp-proofing for us. He also without any fuss sorted out another unrelated piece of plastering for us. The quality of his plastering is excellent and his prices are reasonable. He came on the recommendation of our son, and we in turn would be more than happy to recommend him.

They came recommended by a friend, so I included them when reaching out to companies for getting my damp survey and quote for work. They were quick to reply and very transparent on fees. Joe worked quickly to get the survey done, working with my estate agents to book in the visit to the property. I got the survey through and I am extremely happy with the detail in the report and the images really help me understand the highlighted issues. Joe clearly knows his stuff! I also appreciated the great communition throughout the process, keeping me up tode with the progress of the work. I would highly recommend Mothline Preservantions for your damp proofing, plastering, structural repair needs.

Joe did a great quality of work- he kept us in the loop about any changes and was priced at a reasonable level

Joe is very quick, excellent at his job, leaves everything clean and tidy and highly recommend him

Very professional and reliable company. I received a very detailed surveyor's report very quickly and a quote that I asked for after reading it. Thank you very much Joe for your help, I can't wait to pick up the keys and we can get to work :). I recommend it to everyone.

Joe was really friendly and always arrived on time and communicated well. We were pleased with his quote and the work that he did. We would definitely recommend his services. He treated rising damp, a rotting joist and prevented water crossing the damp proof course from the outside step.

Joe was extremely reliable and professional. He did an excellent job sorting the rising damp in our living room and was happy to advise going forward. Would recommend to anyone.

Great advice and technical support. Pleasant to deal with. Thanks again.

I used mothline to help with rising damp that I had. Joe came out free of charge to assess and quote and was very professional and informative. The work that was done was to a very high standard and made sure that mess was kept to a minimal where able to be. All rubbish was taken away the day after completion as mentioned. I would 100% recommend Joe to others for any damp work. Very happy and good competitive prices. Thank you so much.

We had rising damp in our bungalow which was getting worse, we contacted Mothline Preservations Ltd who gave us an honest assessment and reasonable price. The work was then carried out to a very high standard. Joe’s knowledge and workmanship is without question. We are very pleased with the work carried out and he left the property very tidy. I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Joe was very quick to respond to my initial enquiry and very professional in his assessment of our condensation issues and in quoting and instructing the works. The works we had done included gutter alterations, ventilation installation, plastering, plaster repairs and some new boxing in our bathroom. We are very happy with the service received and would use this company again and recommend them to others.

Mothline Preservation was very responsive in addressing the humidity issues in our apartment. They quickly identified and resolved the problem with great professionalism. As I am abroad, they sent us before-and-after photos. The whole process was smooth and hassle-free, and most importantly, my tenants confirmed that they were happy with their work.

Fabulous service and exceptionally clean and Tidy. Thank you Joe for the work you completed in our Hallway. Would highly recommend you .

Very impressed, contacted Joe and he arranged to come and carry out a damp survey. Followed by damp works being rectified which were originally carried out by another local company. Very honest and knows what he’s talking about. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Reached out to Mothline due to having rising damp on two internal walls. Joe quickly came out to look at the job and confirm the problem, clearly explained proposed course of action and we promptly received a quote and had the work booked in. Joe arrived early, was well prepared as expected and work was completed effectively and efficiently. Professional outfit would highly recommend!

Amazing service! Would definitely recommend!

Joe was great! Did a survey and gutter clean for us. He pointed out the concerns and what needed doing. He was honest and offered a fair price for his services. Will be using him again in the future. Highly recommended!

Great experience, true professional very happy with the whole process.

Beyond happy with the service from Mothline Preservations for basement damp proofing. Advice given during initial survey was thorough and practical. Joe was very knowledgeable and provided various options to suit budget. The quote was very reasonable and the work was conducted professionally and all left very tidy at the end of the job. The finished product looked great and following the weather that followed I can confirm has made the basement watertight. I've already requested a quote for additional services as Mothline have been amazing to work with on my home improvements.

Amazing service from Joe he delivered exactly as promised Absoloutely will recommend and would not hesitate to use over again! Thank you to the whole team for an exemplary job and service

Joe did a fantastic job at our property in Guernsey. Incredibly hard worker and very knowledgeable on damp treatments- taking a practical targeted approach rather than a heavy handed more expensive route that others had proposed.

Joe was excellent from start to finish,he answered all questions that we sent him before commencing the work he had quoted for. He arrived on time and worked tidily and cleaned up at end of day. I certainly would recommend Joe and will use his services again

Joe was fantastic when helping us with a damp issue in our dining room. He came out at the weekend to complete a damp survey and explained the findings to us in easy to understand terms. He provided a quote for repairs which was very fair and completed these works, again at the weekend. His quality of work was superb and the impacted area was left neat and tidy. I would heartily recommend Joe and his team.

I cannot recommend Joe highly enough. I had to get a damp survey before the exchange on my house and he was so helpful. He spent loads of time talking me through my options and no question was too much. I never felt under pressure that he was trying to sell me something - the opposite in fact! He tried his best to save me money. In the end, the problem was minor so Joe didn’t charge me. However, I will not hesitate to use his services once I move in. If you want an honest, knowledgeable and kind specialist, Joe is your man!

Could not recommend Mothline Preservations and Joe any more highly. Currently in the process of selling a house that had been empty for 3 months due to a slow chain. In the meantime, a damp patch emerged which looked like it could be rising damp. However, upon approaching Mothline via text, Joe was happy to offer any advice and agreed to come and conduct a small survey to determine whether the issue was damp or just condensation. Joe came at short notice and completed the survey for a fair fee. Mothline are honest tradesmen, which from my experience can be quite rare when it comes to damp surveyors(!), and I would recommend them for any surveys or damp work needing doing. I will definitely be using them in future should I have any actual damp issues that require treatment!

Mothline Preservations Ltd were absolutely fantastic! Joe & his employee came along to my salon on a Sunday to avoid my business any interruptions. They damp proofed an area of rising damp. They were both friendly, fun and extremely tidy!! They left the area immaculate and gave me advice on how long to wait until decorating it after treatment. I would highly recommend this company! Thanks guys!

Joe and his team were professional, flexible, friendly very knowledgeable. They were fast and neat with good quality work. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Dr Jamil

Joe and Josh were very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable when they carried out several different repair works in our home recently. All work was fully explained, and advice was given on how best to decorate on the new plaster. Everything was carried out on time and to the price quoted. We are very happy with the all the work that was carried out, which included: replacement of damp-damaged skirting boards with damp sealant behind, rebuild and retile of badly built and leaking shower wall, and repair and replaster of ‘popped’ window reveals.

We had some unexpected and unwanted damage from damp. Joe was very quick to respond when we had an emergency, and also found extra time to complete the work at short notice which made a real difference. The work was done to a good standard and at a sensible price.

Joe and Josh completed install of some damp proofing in our lounge room downstairs, then installed plasterboard over the top. Joe was on time each morning and all works completed ahead of schedule and on budget. An easy experience, Joe is willing to answer any questions and is an easy going person to have around! Would recommend for any plastering or damp proofing work.

would definitely recommend Joe at JPPlastering for any damp proofing work & plastering. Very knowledgeable and professional. Very punctual, friendly and good communication via email and messages. Clean job and work carried out within the time frame. Thanks Joe. Laurence Hunt - Chandlers Ford - Hampshire

Joe completed damp work in our house and it was done to a very high standard. He’s very friendly, professional and very tidy upon completion of the work too. Would definitely recommend and use him again if needed.

Joe recently did some work for me damp proofing and re-plastering the bathroom downstairs after numerous and frustrating issues with damp and condensation. He very patiently and expertly talked me through all the different things that could have been contributing to the problem and offered really useful other solutions on top of the work he did. The bathroom feels much better already and the work he has done has helped considerably. I really valued his skill and his patience in particular! He was very reliable as well. Thank you!

Very pleased with Joe's work. He is very professional and hard working. Explains what the work will entail and gave us advice on other house maintenance issues. Very clean throughout the work. Good communication via email and phone. Definitely recommend and have no hesitation in contacting Joe again for any further work.

Recently JP Plastering, has plastered my bathroom. I found Joe very competitive on price and his work was carried out to a high standard. I am really pleased with the job and would use Joe again for work in the future.

I cannot recommend this guy more. He came round to give me a quote for what I thought was rising damp, but he identified a pipe that had been nailed through 2 yrs ago, ripped up floor to isolate problem, and saved me a fortune whilst not wanting to accept a penny for his time. A truly honest and kind tradesperson

I got a damp survey on a property I was buying he was very experienced and went through every little detail with me would highly recommend

Initially came out for a damp survey, very profession, quote was very reasonable so proceeded to use them to carry out the works. 10year guarantee included too! Covid safe, tidy, honest. Ticked all boxes for us will definitely be using again and recommend this company for any damp/plastering work. Thanks again
