I had issues with crumbling walls and ceiling from previous damp but, thanks to Vinny, it now all looks fresh and sleek. Vinny is a reliable plasterer and very responsive. He's easy to work with and gave good advice on decorating afterwards which was super helpful! His prices are reasonable and I appreciate the transparency in providing a breakdown.

Really happy with the work. They stripped a difficult room that had several layers of wallpaper and then came back to skim and plaster the room. They were friendly, honest and transparent throughout, explained everything clearly and did exactly what they promised. The quality of the finish is great and they left everything clean and tidy afterwards. No complaints at all and I’d happily recommend them to others.

Had our hall and landing done, the work done was okay. There were a few gaps however, and they left quite a mess. Also we were charged considerably more than the original quote. During the work we were told about extra costs and we got prices for the extra work and materials, however the price we were charged was a lot more than we were expecting. We'll be using someone else in future.

(Added a before and after pics) What really stood out though was how communicative Vinny was, right from the start. From enquiring to sorting out days and times. The job was done really well and he cleaned up after himself and any plaster that has gone in the walls was washed off. Vinny did an excellent job on plastering my 20ft x 17ft garden cabin I had built, had other quotes but they told me it would take 4 to 5 week before they could do it, Vinny did it within a week of quoting me. I had an emergency plastering job as I'm just about to sell my property. A previous so called " plasterer" had attempted to fill a crack in the lounge wall and ceiling and it has opened up again. Vinnie came out to do the work within a couple of days. He explained exactly why the previous botch job hadn't worked and what needed doing to put things right. He did a fantastic job and the repair is now invisible! I have no hesitation in recommending him. A highly skilled plasterer who doesn't overcharge.

Vinny recently removed and replaced the render on the front of our house. He was friendly and polite throughout. He removed the waste and tidied the site up afterwards. I would definitely recommend him as a Plasterer for work on your property.

Excellent service, good communication, job completion on time to good quality

We had Vinny do some work for us as a subcontract work as part of a complete kitchen refitting - he (and his son) arrived on time, replastered and skimmed all of the walls to give us a blank slate for the new units, did it cleanly and quickly and for a very reasonable price within our budget. He also went above and beyond filling in an old extractor vent which had been poorly patched up by the previous owners (see before and after pics)

Vinny is brilliant, second time we’ve needed him to come and done some plastering for us. Not often you find a tradesmen who you make sure you only want to use them. Quick, tidy and great quality. Highly Recommend.

I want to start by clarifying this is not a comment on the actual work done, once the guys finally arrived and did the job it was done well. The reason for such a low rating is based on the extremely poor communication from them and that affecting how long it actually took for the work to be started and completed, (6 weeks) after originally being told it would be done in less than 2 weeks. We started talking about the work on the 7th of March and was told the work would be started on the 13th of March and be finished a week later. It was not started until the 17th of March and completed on the 25th of April. Not including how long it to took to dry, so set us back almost 2 months. (The first room was started and completed on the 17th, the second room was delayed until the 23rd of April and finished on the 25th of April) The dates for both jobs in total were re-scheduled by Vinny 8 times for varying reasons. Most of which were done on the day I was expecting the guys to arrive, through text message and 10-30 minutes after I was expecting them to arrive. Even when they did arrive it was always late. I had informed Vinny early on that I work evenings/nights and was not living at the property whilst this was being organised and the work was being done.This made it especially frustrating each time this happened. I was told on the first day he would be arriving between 09:00 - 09:30, and then recieved a text at 09:50 that he would not be coming at all that day. This happened about 4 out of 8 times where I had got up early, travelled to the property, waited for him to arrive (at the times he decided) and was told anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes later (by text message) that he would not be coming that day at all. There was one occasion where I was told it would be a two day job, they finished up the first day, told me to my face that he would be there tomorrow to get it finished and they would arrive between 08:40-09:00. So I arrived there at 08:30 the day after. Then Vinny messaged me at 09:13 that he wouldn't be able to do it as the grit needed to dry. (Why tell me a time you'd arrive tomorrow when you knew you wouldn't be able to come at all?) Even on the final day it was completed I was told to expect the guys between 08:30-09:00 and recieved a text at 09:26 that they were on their way, not arriving until almost an hour after the agreed time. I fully understand and appreciate things happen that we cannot control, I even had to reschedule one of the days. But with this happening eight times, arriving late every single time and not even receiving an apology after the second time this happened, I was left feeling very frustrated and unsatisfied. To reiterate, I have no issues with the product, the service was just so poor I wouldn't recommend them.

Vinny and Jay came round to plaster 2 bedroom ceilings for us in June 2024. They used dust sheets and tidied up after themselves. Vinny came back round at short notice to plaster by a window for us.
