G Fitzgerald Plastering

Needed a large section of wall plastering following sound proofing installation, all aspects of the work were perfect, smooth, and tidy, completed all in one day as quoted. I would have no hesitation in recommending Gary to anyone looking to have plastering work done!

Top tradesman and best plasterer I've used. Fantastic finish. Excellent price, constant communication and quality throughout. Even managed to fit me in earlier than agreed. 100% reliable.

Replastered my living room ceiing after some water damage and did an absolutely fantastic job; a really professional finish and he was very respectful of my property. He takes a lot of pride in doing a good job and it shows. Would definitely recommend.

Gary was excellent, really communicative and explained everything he had to do with plastering the ceiling. Turned up on time and did a great job. Would definitely recommend! Thank you

Gary has done a wonderful job of plastering our dining room and has achieved a beautifully smooth finish. We will be getting him back again soon to do our lounge.

Amazing work! Gaz produces works of art! Highly recommend!

Gary’s done two plastering jobs for us - our living room and a bedroom. On each occasion he’s done an outstanding job, the finished walls have been flawless. On top of that, he works quickly, leaves zero mess and is a pleasure to have in the house. Highly recommended, and we’d happily use him again for future jobs.

Gary is a real perfectionist and excellent at his craft. He recently plastered an awkward shaped room that had previously seen some horrendous DIY attempts, and what he transformed it into is amazing. Incredible finish with real pride in his work, and he left everything clean and tidy. Already booked him In for the next job.

Gary was punctual and tidy in his work. We are happy with finish of the 3 rooms and hallway ceiling that he skimmed. Thanks Gary

Massive job done amazingly With such a big job I was incredibly happy with the results. He takes such pride and care in what he does it gave me full trust in his work. From bringing down ceilings and plastering walls 8feet tall, I can’t wait to paint on them. I cannot wait to get him back to do the living room as I know he’ll do a great job. Such a friendly man and happy to found a trade man I can trust and responds to your text when needed.

"Gary did an incredible job plastering our 300-year-old Grade II listed cottage. His standards of work are exceptionally high, which is exactly what a period property like ours required. He is remarkably punctual—you could literally set your clock by him—and his communication was prompt and professional throughout. He was also incredibly flexible with our schedule. If you want high-quality craftsmanship and reliability, Gary is your man. Highly recommended!"

I found Gary on Google and gave him a call based on previous reviews when another plasterer let me down. He saved my project by fitting me in at short notice. Great communication, good honest advice, tidy and has done a really good job. I'll call Gary with any future plastering jobs.

High quality finish will book him again to do the next room

Gary has done two jobs at my home he’s so clean and tidy and his plastering is excellent I’d recommend to anyone

Gary did a brilliant job. Great workmanship. Tidied up and offered good advice. Would definitely use hin again. Cheers.

Gaz was punctual and polite. Kept us informed of the work and cost. Precision work is excellent, the area has never looked so neat with perfect edging. Would ask Gaz to come back for future work.

Gary has done a really excellent, professional job of my living room and dining room ceilings. Great finish. Very communicative before and during the job too. Would thoroughly recommend.

Gary has just completed the plastering of 3 ceilings in our home - hallway, dining room and living room. From start to finish, his communication, courtesy and quality of his work, have been outstanding. The passion he has for his craft shines through, and we will be having him back to do more work next year. I recommend Gary without hesitation!

Gary receives my fullest recommendation. He has recently finished a complete re-plastering of my house, a large and tricky job considering the age of the property and the fact that it has recently been rewired and a new heating system installed. Gary communicated exceptionally well throughout, always happy to take a call, and was very flexible in re-scheduling when issues with other work caused delays. His passion for his trade is obvious; always timely, courteous and completing all work to an incredibly high standard. If I am ever in need of a plasterer again, he'll be the only one I'd call.

Gary plastered the ceiling and part of the walls above the picture rails in the main bedroom of my old Victorian house. There were lots of cracks in my ceiling and peeling plaster areas and paint from previous damp issues. This has all been removed, ceiling reinforced and it all looks brand new. To add to it, my ceiling isn’t the easiest shape to deal with due to the way the joists are making it slightly ‘wavy’ in parts. It looks outstanding and I couldn’t be happier with the craftsmanship. Communication was excellent and price was great. He turned up on time each day and kept the house as clean as could be (very difficult with plaster!!). Would deffo get Gary back to do any other plaster jobs in the future. Thanks again for all your hard work 🙂

Gary did 4 small plastering jobs for me after having new lights installed. The work included a small porch ceiling, hall wall, in between beams in outdoor wc and entrance walls. Gary's work was very neat and carried out to a high standard and reasonably priced. He also left all areas clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Gary and will be calling on his service again soon.

Did an excellent job skimming several rooms in my house including some nice curved walls. Painter said it was a lovely surface to work on. Will use again when it comes to doing other parts of the house.

Gary did some plastering in my kitchen - did a great job - a real artisan. It was a pleasure to do business with him. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Gary was punctual, turned up when he said he was going to, very informative tidy ,clean, altogether an excellent job I wouldn't hesitate in recommending him he obviously takes pride in his work . Many thanks Gary

Wouldn’t use anybody else. Professional, takes pride in his work, good chat, no issues at all.

Fully recommend Gary! He did a brilliant job skimming three rooms for us. At every stage there was clear communication and he was able to advise on what needed doing, and importantly what didn’t need doing. We’re really pleased with the finish. A genuine guy and someone who takes real pride in his work.

Gary did a great job plastering my hall despite some challenges due to the age of the house. He worked hard, communicated well and left all areas neat and tidy. I would highly recommend him as he is a skilled and conscientious worker. Thank you Gary.

An excellent job, done, turned up when he said he would. A good price. Polite and friendly. Will definitely use Gary again if I need anymore work doing, and have recommended him to family and friends

Great job done with friendly professional service. Fitted our smaller job in very quickly too! Thank you Gary. Update: Asked Gary to come back to help with a another project. All finished on time with a tight schedule and beautiful work as usual.

Couldn’t recommend more, very professional and super flexible. Gary was very accommodating even with last minute changes to plans and schedule. We originally wanted him just to do a hand full of rooms but after seeing the quality of the work we asked him to do the entire house. The finish is superb and he always kept the house nice and tidy through out. If I need more plastering I’d use him again without a doubt.

I recently hired Gary to plaster a ceiling and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the start, Gary’s communication was excellent—he was prompt in responding to queries, explained the process clearly, and kept me updated throughout the job. Gary’s professionalism was evident in his punctuality, attention to detail, and the respect he showed for my home, ensuring the workspace was clean and tidy. The quality of the plastering was outstanding. I highly recommend Gary’s services to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled plasterer.

Gary’s a lovely guy. Very happy with the work he carried out. Gary provides a great service. I highly recommend.

10/10 Gary is a master at his craft, thorough and knowledgeable. His attention to detail is top notch. He takes pride in his work and it’s clear with the quality of the finish, buttery smooth! A true gent and pleasure to talk to, we will absolutely be using Gary in the future. He is fairly priced and this is reflected in the quality of his work. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough. As expected his craftsmanship is in high demand and as we were looking for a quality job we were more than happy to work with his availability. Thanks again Gary :)

Excellent service from when Gary quoted to finish. Kept us informed and kept to times he said . Clean, professional job, no hesitation in recommending

After seeing Gary’s work online, I decided to reach out to him to plaster a three bedroom house. Gary was quick and efficient at replying back and always kept us in the loop. His work is to a very high standard, he cleans all his mess up after himself and also sent us pictures and updates throughout the day of the work he had done. He was a pleasure to have in the house and in the future if we ever need anything doing we won’t hesitate to contact him again. Thanks so much :) from Chloe and Sean

Gary is your true professional, from his estimate, his work ethic, and plastering skills. Gary came in on budget and was only one day over time, due to the walls here at the house. Everyone has commented on how smooth and level he managed to achieve in all the rooms. Gary puts in a full day and drinks coffee with milk and no sugar, I would totally recommend Gary for his plastering services to anyone who asks.

Our ceiling was completed yesterday. Very pleased with the work Gary has done. Very personable and house left clean and tidy.

Gary is a meticulous plasterer and finishes everything to his exacting standard. Over the past year we've been renovating and he's done two bedrooms, kitchen, utility and hall stairs and landing for us throughout. He's polite, tidy, courteous and punctual and fairly priced. Couldn't ask for more and wouldn't look anywhere else. Cheers Gary 👍

Gary did a fantastic job plastering two walls after we had sound insulation installed. He was quick, clean, friendly and professional.

Very friendly and professional all round. Left the room as found and the finish is immaculate. Strongly recommend Gary and wouldn’t hesitate to use him again in the future.

Very skilled, reliable, experienced and polite plasterer who really cares about his work. I would definitely recommend Gary if you want a job done well at a good price.

Great guy and an absolute professional. Highly recommended for transparency and top quality work! Very happy with the home office being plastered.

Gary was very professional from first contact. Took care to cover all carpets, soft funishings etc... without leaving an ounce of mess. His work was extremely skilled, 2 alcoves and a chimney wall were perfectly finished and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional and quality plasterer who also seems to take real pride in their work.

Gary turned up exactly when he said he would and bearing in mind he had a really long journey I was immediately impressed. I soon nicknamed him "whirlwind" as there was no messing around and he was straight on with preparing the walls for plastering. He did a great job and worked really hard. It was difficult for me to get him to stop for a drink even. Definitely recommend him to anyone. Thanks again Gary.

Hard working person, professional, clean, responsible. Highly recommend and will use his services again

Amazing service as always - working with Gary on multiple projects. He never let me down

Gaz sorted our back room walls last year, brilliant job, great work ethic anc a nice bloke too. We've had several plastering jobs over the years in our house, but hand on heart his is the best.

High quality plasterer, provided good value & was very reliable and understanding in wanting to work together to get the best finish possible.

Gary plastered 2 walls in my house.Very professional and very happy with all aspects of his work. Highly recommend him.

We've used Gary's services on two different occasions and both times his work was perfect and very reasonable cost. Pleasant to deal with, would recommend to anyone

Gary came around a fixed a job that a previous plasterer had done very badly . He was very respectful and polite . He reassured me and worked hard to complete a job in a very professional manner . I can’t recommend him enough.

I've used Gary for the last 5 years over multiple projects, his workmanship is second to none always reliable and reasonably priced. I wouldn't use any one else. He's never let me down like others.

I've used Gary on two separate occasions whilst renovating my flat. He plastered the walls where I had insulated and reboarded around the windows in each room. I then had him back when I fitted new door casings. Both times he did a fantastic job at a very fair price. I would highly recommend. He also repaired a crack in a bedroom ceiling which saved me having to pay to reboard and plaster the whole ceiling.

Gary did a great job of my wall. It wasn’t a nice or easy job but he worked well in awful weather! Really honest, friendly and great communication. Would use again for sure!

Brilliant job, absolutely chuffed with the end result. Lovely lad too. Thanks Gary. 😊
